Great customer service at the branch - they really couldn't do enough to help, and gave solid advice.

When I had an issue with a hired tool they very promptly and efficiently resolved it.

Also had an excellent dog.

Item arrived early on the Saturday giving me plenty of time to finish the job. The driver was friendly and helpful.

Easy booking, lovely friendly staff

Wanted to hire a cement mixer for a weekend, was quoted a price online including a £20 delivery and collection fee based on my supplied postcode. Received a confirmation email and money debited from my account. Then received an email from the Inverness branch several days later requesting I pay an extra £40 for delivery, despite the fact that I live only 12 miles from the depot and in an easily accessible location. Spoke to customer services at head office and was advised that this should not have been charged and that they would sort out with the branch. Received a further email from branch the next day, saying I only needed to pay an extra £20, so I contacted customer services again. This time I was advised that it was up to the branch and that I was wrongly advised previously. I have now cancelled and booked with HSS with a £18 delivery and collection fee. I won’t touch this company with any of my business moving forward.

I hired a turf cutter from the Inverness branch, whilst cutting the fourth section of turf the blade broke. I contacted Inverness and enquired as to whether they had a spare blade and if so, would they be happy with me fitting this myself (as it is only secured by four bolts). They agreed I could collect and fit the blade myself but when I arrived to collect I was informed that, as I had not taken due care and cleared the lawn of 'hidden stones', that the blade would be a chargeable 'wear item'. I advised that I had taken out the damage waiver cover but was informed that the charge was on the instruction of the Manager. On returning home I compared the new blade with the existing and there was a marked difference, over 40% of the blade thickness had worn away and over 45% of the blade width was gone, the blade issued was therefore not fit for purpose and it was inevitable it would break at some point. I changed the blade, finished the turf cutting and returned the turf cutter but asked to speak with the branch Manager to discuss the condition of the blade and the additional charge. The Manager was less than helpful and went on the defensive immediately, when I showed him the blade comparison photos he wasn't interested and just muttered he 'gets this everyday' then instructed the ladies to issue me a refund; at this point he just walked away. Not what you expect from a managerial position and I will certainly be advising all friends and family never to consider using Brandon Hire Station to hire equipment. If I could give this 'no stars' I would!

Had to cancel the order as Product ended up not being available and after a month still no refund.

Even helped to take the items to and from the car. hardly needed to lift a finger.

Good value. Helpful and friendly staff. Good carpet cleaner machine that did the job. My only complaint is the website. It was slow and also difficult to see what I had ordered meant that I ordered 2 carpet cleaners by mistake but the staff noticed and refunded me.

Great. Delivered on time. Picked up on time. All worked well.

Availability of devices excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. No problems with glitches of the drumsander. Immediate replacement of parts and generous settlement of hire time and the Provider with the best prices anyway. Very satisfying experience.

Very good and helpful service. I was given a demo of how to use the hedge trimmer before I took it away which was very useful. On my return I was shown other tools which may be useful to me in the future.

Very good service from the Inverness branch. Advised on refuelling of machine, to get refund of high priced initial fill. Also very helpful when I finished the work ahead of time, returned early and received partial refund.
It made the hire VERY economical for the required job resulting in definitely likely to use them again.
Cannot recommend highly enough.
