The company was started when a gap in the market was seen and as there were very few self storage providers in the surrounding areas of Hampshire. Since then the company has grown and added more locations, as well as constantly making improvements to our current sites. With a wealth of experience in the storage industry, you can be assured of a committed team with expert knowledge to help you choose the right storage unit in a convenient area that suits you. All of our sites are secure with CCTV, which is monitored 24/7 by our own private security.

Help given when it was so needed
I needed a place to put our camper ASAP, so builders can convert our garage to a wet room+bedroom. Jeanette worked really to help us and find us a slot. Jeanette and the team at Brant are just the best!!! Thank you so much!

Safe and clean for a year
Furniture in storage for over a year. Clean and safe, no sign or smell of damp safe from insects or rodents easy to access at any time.

Ease of access to the storage unit, a full detailed email on the first day including an access code and YouTube videos to watch to answer any questions and trolleys to help with unloading your car or van, saves lots of heavy lifting although do bring a padlock as you need one
The units are clean and ample amount of room in your container
You won’t be disappointed renting a container here

Excellent Personal Service
I recently used Brant Self Storage and had an excellent experience from start to finish.
Tom, who assisted me, was outstanding. He took the time to show me around the site, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process straightforward and stress-free. Tom was also extremely helpful, approachable, and clearly very knowledgeable.
What really stood out was his excellent phone manner, professional, friendly, and reassuring, which made a great first impression even before I arrived.
Overall, a very positive experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Brant Self Storage to anyone in the area

We have hired a storage unit for our furniture during a house move and refurb project. We found the whole operation easy from initial enquiry to hiring a Luton van for removals. Staff were always polite and helpful and easy to get hold of. The unit is clean and fit for purpose and the site seems very secure and also clean. I would definitely recommend.

Great for first time storage users!

Responsive and communicative
Right from the start I found the staff very informative and helpful. Showed empathy regarding my circumstances. Location was good. The unit was clean when I arrived. Code to the gate was given. Unit was easy to access.
Communication was very good and responsive. Would highly recommend.

Terrible.
Stored motorhome there, so many problems...
1. I put a green tarp on roof as required and they verified was absolutely fine, i reiterated "im going to Africa, so be sure youre happy be fore i leave... they assuredme yes... then 1mth later i got an email to all motorhome owners basically saying "completely wrap your motorhome in green tarp 100% in xxxdays or it will be removed" I was shocked, vecause i couldnt do it as 1000s miles away AND THEY WONT LET YOU AUTHORIZE A FRIEND TO VISIT WITHOUT CHARGING AN ESCORT FEE! So I had to pay them £100s to wrap it for me.
2. Then few weeks later price went up
3. When I finally decided to sell my motorhome initially they wouldn't let a family member access and wanted £/hrs for escorting a stranger... so my buyer was not allowed to view my motorhome.. in the end they accepted my son in law to be registered so he could visit on my behalf but it cost week and I nearly lost my buyer
4. Motorhome sold around 1wk into a paid month. Its Removed from site and now they want another month's rent as didn't give 1 months notice.
5. They intend to and can just to take the money without authorisation.
6. They do not ever phone or talk on WhatsApp its all legel worded type emails based on contract... I guess read every word of contract !
Duration: Sept 2025 to April 2026
Cost £165/mth
There are cheaper places local to here.
I strongly recommend do not use this company, if you do be prepared gor extra charges and only you are allowed to your stuff.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience, and we’d like to clarify a few of the points raised.
Firstly, in relation to the green tarp requirement, this is a strict condition set by the local council and applies to all motorhomes on site. The requirement is that the vehicle must be fully covered, not just the roof. While we aim to provide clear guidance from the outset, we do periodically reinforce this rule to ensure full compliance across the site.
Regarding access, site security is something we take extremely seriously. When an individual attends without prior authorisation and requests access, we are unable to provide entry codes for obvious security reasons. Once we understood your situation, we did work with you to find a solution by allowing a nominated individual to attend on your behalf, however this required staff supervision, which is why an escort fee applied. This is not a standard service and was offered as a compromise in your circumstances.
In terms of notice, as outlined in our storage agreement, a 28-day notice period is required to end a contract. This applies regardless of when the unit or space is vacated, and ensures fairness and consistency for all customers.
We appreciate that pricing and policy changes can be frustrating, but these are communicated in line with our terms and reflect the operational requirements of running a secure and compliant facility.
We do genuinely try to support customers wherever possible, and in your case made exceptions to assist while you were abroad. We’re sorry this did not meet your expectations, but we wish you all the best moving forward.
