The course was fantastic and i was very happy with my instructor Maruf, I wasnt sure an intensive course would be suitable for me as I am quite anxious and dont work well under pressure. I was positively surprised however with how i coped with the week and the support from the instructor massively helped with this. I would highly recommend.
I really enjoyed the course and benefited from it alot. My instructor Tim was lovely and made me feel very safe and confident behind the wheel. I would highly recommend especially to new drivers who are looking for a good experience and fast lessons.
My whole experience with this company was pretty disastrous with no clear communicaton on anything. The details of the course were only finalised the day before when the instructor phoned (even though I had been asking and the course had been booked 3 months in advance). After my 5 days, the instructor said the company would get in touch about more lessons and booking my test, but I didn't hear anything from the admin team. I was constantly emailing and phoning but to no avail. I eventually got a refund (3 months after the intensive days) for the extra lessons and driving test that they said would be booked. A course should be booked for efficiency but this experience was anything but, I would not recommend it.
I'd like to add that after moving to another driving school, it is clear that I was not taught the necessary skills and information for my driving test, despite the fact that this course is marketed as all you'll need to pass. There seems to be no clear guidelines for instructors as to what needs to be taught.
I couldnt have asked for a better service, my instructor Erica was fantastic and I was very happy. The course was completed over a few weeks and went very well, all theory and practical dates provided as well as pick up and drop off from the home address.
The course I did with Alan was fantastic and I couldnt have asked for a better instructor, would highly recommend requesting him if you choose to book with them. very helpful office team as well and there is always someone on hand to help.
Booked an intensive course and chased a large number of times, before the course was confirmed the evening before it started. The instructor was good, but the whole process and communication was an absolute joke.
Following the course, I chased up approx 30 times to arrange the test, but they completely failed.
Unfortunately the company is a total embarrassment - avoid at all costs
Paul has been an excellent instructor over the course of week; prompt pick-up every day and during each session, he was very patient, attentive and clearly explained everything I needed to do to be test ready.
By the end of my second day, I was driving confidently and chatting the whole time!
Bath & Bristol Intensive themselves were always able to respond to queries/liaising with their team and ensuring they had instructor availability ahead of the booked time. I would recommend them for this and their competitive services.
Would be 5 stars if the initial dates the system let me book had instructor(s) available for, however, Phil/ the team let me know in good time and were able to reschedule.

i done a week intensive course with alan , he was a great instructor super easy to learn from him. taught every lesson with a laugh. really appreciate his support through the week.

This company are totally unreliable and do not provide the service they suggest. As per the others here rating it low I had a course booked for my son a month in advance of his Easter holidays. The week before I had no details from them so emailed and called them. I was assured an instructor had been allocated and would be in touch shortly. Of course I heard nothing until the Friday (course due to start on the Monday) when I was informed the instructor was no longer available.
They said they could provide another for the week after. My son could do that so I agreed but on the basis that they put me directly in touch with the instructor straight away. I was assured I would hear from him urgently. I heard nothing for 4 days - despite my texting and calling them regularly. Eventually I realised that they were bluffing me. Stupidly I cancelled the course and now they won't return the money even though I have a text saying 'I'll ensure this is processed and funds are sent to you'. I was given a name for the 'instructor' and did some research on line. I could not find this instructor - doesn't mean he doesn't exist but is odd..
Don't get taken for a ride like I was.

I have to give that score my honest opinion. I booked for my daughter, the 1st time the driver had personal problems but I wasn’t told until a few days before the course started. Rescheduled, and the 2nd driver didn’t turn up. Wasn’t aware of a problem with him. It was his car but he neglected to tell the school or me. I paid extra for the test. That never happened and was not refunded. My daughter ended up doing 2 days. For that price that is a joke. A man called Phil tried his best, but unacceptable. You can’t call the company either just voicemail. Wouldn’t recommend

Since my first review there have been a number of people giving 5 * reviews and they have passed their tests. The reviews indicate that the company sorted their tests.
Despite numerous emails and texts to my son, a test is still to be sorted. Please can this be sorted this week? You advertise that you can access fast track tests, which was the main reason my son choose your company. Is this correct?
Based on the other reviews it appears that tests have been arranged for other people. If this is the case, then please arrange my son's driving test asap.
I will post an update next week.

I booked a Five day course in February 2025 for April 2025, so TWO months notice.
Several texts asking to take the week course earlier than booked but due to having to work was unable to reschedule
On the Thursday before the week I was due to start I hear from the instructor that was allocated informing me that he had been booked but had told this company THREE weeks earlier that he was unable to do this week….. however they continued to allocate him
I contacted the Instructor personally and he read the email that he sent to them. I understood the message and meaning…… however they say that they didn’t understand and blamed the instructor for all the errors…. Wtf…
Several emails and text messages later, “we are trying to find another instructor “ was the repeated messages and emails ….
On day two of the supposed driving week and still no instructor arranged I asked to speak to the manager….. well. I think it was easier to get blood from a stone. Two hours of text messages repeatedly asking to speak to manager, and several phone calls that they refuse to answer btw,………
Explained that customer service is non existent and just bad manners and eventually they agreed to call me….
This eventually resulted in a full refund…
Please do not use these guys.

Not well organised. Not very responsible. Not worth it. You could find an alternative service that is more reliable and cheaper—taking into account the extra time and effort you spend to get what you pay for.
I have recorded my experience below for reference. I rated it 2 stars instead of 1 because the lesson partially took place, and they responded to some of my inquiries.
I’d like to point out that most of the 5-star reviews come from reviewers with only a SINGLE review.

Had to chase them for many days to reschedule the lesson, and I was finally given a slot for today (April 3rd, which is three months after the initial plan). However, the instructor did not show up. The name of the instructor is Al*n.
Asked for a partial refund (in fact, I had already asked for this several times feeling hopeless about actually having the lesson).

After 2 months and 49 emails + n calls, they haven't rescheduled the lessons that were canceled by the school.
Interestingly, their reply below asks me to email them—something I have already been doing for weeks.

Haven't been able to reschedule the cancelled lessons after 33 emails and 6 calls. There are several times they said the instructor is available next week but never book the lesson for me.

I had booked a 10 hours semi-intensive course. They cancelled the last few hours' lesson on 0 notice. I have contacted them multiple times in the past 3 weeks to reschedule the lesson. Still waiting for that to happen.

Finally, there was an instructor who called me for the first time 1 night before the planned start date (19:00 on 22 December) to confirm dates and time.
Before that point, I had to contact them around 15 times (online chats, emails, phone calls) to request an instructor.

The course hasn't started yet, but I am a bit skeptical about them now based on the initial experience with the customer service (they did reply to my emails etc so far). The issue is that they haven't been able to confirm an instructor after the booking, although I have approached them many times. Every time I received an answer like "we will arrange an instructor and let you know the details shortly", but now it is nothing but only a few days before the course starts.
Looking at the reviews, almost all the positive reviews are from "1 comment reviewer". I am a bit worried.
Let's see what happens. I will keep updating this comment.
Service is absolutely shocking and a joke if I could give the review a -1 I would do I booked the course back in late October ever since that day it was nothing but a headache to get anything booked from the theory to the driving lessons to actually start at all where communication is quite literally next to none and only get in contact when you have to send more then multiple emails and text messages to agents going over and over your complaint to all different numbers and because they see that fit and best to make a customer text for hours on end to all different agents asking the same thing and me having to repeat myself more then multiple times for the odd occasional phone call that I would have to ask for multiple times for the manager to then say I want to sort this for you and everything else to hearing nothing and a reminder this was going on since the end of October I booked this course so my frustration is still to this day through the roof I also made clear to the manger that it’s been going on for too long and nothing has been sorted regarding my course or even my theory. Also even after multiple phone calls with the manger my complaint still even today has not been taken properly and still I’ve sent multiple emails to the driving school to even get responses every now and again I would avoid this driving school at all costs as customers aren’t there priority or there communication to actually solve the issue that should of never ever of been there in the first place. Now I am truly glad to say i passed my driving practical this Thursday just
gone and that was down to me and my driving instructor also like to state the company are meant to book your driving test in for you with the price that you pay well they didn’t of course I had to do that myself so now that I have passed as a ’customer’ of there’s this won’t be left as my complaint has not been resolved still 6 months down the line.
The website states 7 day courses really for me it was 6 months.
I would like to say the only good outcome of booking through the driving school was my driving instructor what a bloke he is has nothing but patience and knowledge and really takes to help you learn to not only drive to also understand the basics of the car you will be learning in he’s a top class bloke and without him through all of this I wouldn’t of kept going and passed.
Booked a week off from work to do the course. Asked a few times when the instructor would be in touch and was reassured but with less than a week to go I was told the instructor cancelled. Another instructor was assigned to me but he said he could only do 2 days of the week intensive course completely defeating the point. Luckily I had time off 2 weeks after and they managed to find an instructor who was great and a really good teacher. However I don’t think he was one of Bristol intensive instructors. If I didn’t have the other week off then I don’t know when I would’ve been able to do the course and I would’ve wasted my time and money. Once I had finished my course I was expecting them to start trying to find a driving test as I payed for them to help find me one. They came back to me days later saying that they wouldn’t be able to help me get a test despite promising on their website they could. I asked for a refund and had to wait 5 days to get my money back. Poor communication from the company in general. Unsure how every other review is great maybe I just got unlucky but I would not recommend people use this company.

I booked my intensive course on the 27th December and I passed my test first time on the 4th February with only 3 minors! All thanks to Alan!
My course wasn’t supposed to start until end of February, but They rang me to say they had a cancellation which I obviously took!
I would say the communication from the admin too customers isn’t the best but I guess they have a lot of customers to get through, I was just very persistent if I needed to know something!
Once I was given my driving instructor Alan everything was smooth sailing, Alan was so patient but also stern which was needed as he knew I could do it! By day 3 he told me to book a test and get a cancellation for asap as he knew I was ready. I managed to get a cancellation for a test date, unfortunately Alan had to take some unexpected time off work due to family matters, which was completely understood! I decided to take my test alone in my own car and alan was so supportive and did say if I couldn’t get somebody to take me to my test he would have taken me.
He done everything to make me feel comfortable and at ease when I was in the car with him!
I would definitely recommend to anybody about doing the intensive course. And if you get Alan it will be a bonus!!

One star is too many! June 2023 booked an intensive 5 day driving course, May 2024 got offered a test on September 2024!! I have since booked a test for next week at my cost again, they are fraudulent and thieves.
I am awaiting a response to emails, and chat bot on there site doesn't work can't call, and persistently asking for my details when they already have them
They have taken best part of 1500 pounds, I'm a trainee mechanic that is alot of cash, and they have hindered my progression my career
They need to be closed down asap so that more young people are not losing money.
These guys scammed me, wish I'd checked Trustpilot first. Please avoid, they take your money then radio silence
This is a scam. I was supposed to be contacted by an instructor before my lesson date but it never happened. When I tried to contact them via phone they would act as if they didn't understand me or tell me the connection was too bad and hang up. Avoid at all costs
