Smooth system with professional representation

Excellent work for building my prototype. the builder team did good job in transforming my product vision to working prototype. They have been great with communication, product iterations and feedback. Big shout out to Soumyadip , excellent work in creation of prototype.

As a long-standing software capacity partner, we’ve had the privilege of supporting Builder.ai from its inception. Our collaboration has been fruitful, and we’ve helped in securing their initial funding rounds by providing positive feedback. However, we must express our deep disappointment with the recent turn of events.

For the past nine months, despite our repeated requests and reminders, the company has failed to honor their payment commitments. Not only have they neglected their financial obligations, but they’ve also compounded the situation by imposing penalties—penalties that stem from flaws in their own system. These deductions unfairly impact capacity partners like us, who have diligently contributed to their success. Despite our unwavering commitment and resource allocation—even working weekends to meet stringent deadlines—the company has failed to honor its payment obligations

It’s disheartening to see a once-promising partnership marred by financial negligence. As capacity partners, we rely on timely payments to sustain our operations and maintain the high level of service we provide. The company’s actions have caused significant inconvenience and strain, affecting not only our livelihoods but also our trust in their integrity.

We implore the company to rectify this situation promptly. Despite sending numerous emails, we have received no response. The head of capacity seems indecisive and lacks the necessary authority to resolve the issue. As a result, we are compelled to communicate through this platform, which is not our usual approach but has become necessary due to their lack of response.

Stay away from this horrible company, terrible culture with many wrongdoings. Their lack of professionalism has not only sabotaged our efforts but also leads us to consider a legal response.

While our collaboration with Builder.AI is ongoing, I'm eager to share my experience thus far. Working alongside Twado and the Builder.AI team on our project has been truly outstanding.

Right from the start, they grasped our vision and objectives for the platform. Their proactive communication and problem-solving approach have ensured a smooth and efficient process. Their insightful ideas have also added significant value to the platform.

As we progress with Builder.AI, I have complete confidence in their ability to deliver a superior platform that will surpass our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Builder.AI to anyone in search of a dependable and skilled software development partner. Excited to witness the project's launch.

We initiated our project with Builder.ai based on their commitment to develop our application within five months. Unfortunately, a year has passed, and our app remains unpublished, plagued by unresolved issues that cast doubt on the company’s capability. Importantly, there has been no scope change from our initial agreement, which highlights a significant discrepancy between Builder.ai’s promises and their delivery.

Our repeated requests for code access, a stipulation included in our contract, have been denied. This refusal not only impedes our ability to evaluate the work performed but also restricts our CTO from making informed decisions on whether to salvage the existing project or commence anew.

Furthermore, our experience with their staff turnover has been concerning, having worked with three different Productologists within this timeframe. The frequent changes have led to inconsistencies and a lack of continuity in our project management.

Due to these ongoing issues, we have found it necessary to seek legal counsel to address these contract breaches. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Builder.ai as a reliable partner for software development.

Reading the other reviews I can see a pattern.
It looks like this is the strategy the company uses. They do their best to get you on board and then do their worst in building your website. Leonardo was chasing me with emails and calls for months. Now he can not be bothered to contact me. Most likely too busy trying to fool someone else.
Do not be fooled by the sweet talk and the big promises during the initial video calls.
The reality is completely different. I was promised a professional looking website in two weeks. It has been nearly six months and what I have is an incomplete, very basic website with lots of issues which by the looks of it, can not be fixed.
My project was given to bunch of incompetent but very polite people in India.
Not only they were not able to do their job, but now they are bombarding me with emails asking for a call. The same calls, which were useless and unproductive.
Since they do not answer my emails with a request for a refund, I will have to look for justice somewhere else.
To save yourself the pain I go through, avoid this company.

Worst company ever all they have is a good sales team. Outsource the tech to a third party and horrible in all aspects

It was a wonderful experience going through the phase of our CDISC Tec prototype development. Being a team from construction background the team from builder.ai had made us feel so comfortable in developing the software prototype within the timelines. I would thank Mr.Yuvraj in helping me out in and navigating me through the journey of developing the prototype and Mrs Shilpa for scoping our requirements and the vibrant accounts team Mrs Atulya and Mrs Anju made us so comfortable in closing the deal.

I had a good experience with the project manager “Natasha Parmer” and the team. They were very experienced and supportive and our project journey went smooth

Working with Builder.ai on our project has been an overall positive experience, albeit with some delays in the MVP launch that impacted our timeline. However, despite these challenges, we've gained valuable insights and learnings along the way.
I'm particularly grateful for the contributions of productologist Yuvraj Gulati and tech lead Sagar Gupta, whose expertise and insights have been instrumental in shaping the app and addressing complexities in a systematic manner.
While the collaboration has been fruitful, I believe there's room for improvement in client communication and documentation sharing. Implementing regular project updates and establishing a centralized document repository could enhance transparency and efficiency.
Despite the setbacks, I remain confident in Builder.ai's capability to deliver the project successfully. I look forward to continued collaboration and a successful outcome.

My company signed an agreement with Builder.ai to develop an internal app for sharing project and employee data. They understood our needs and were very helpful in facilitating the development, despite some unexpected delays.
Ms. Varsha as project manager has proven to be not only an incredibly competent professional in her field, but also a valuable resource for the development of our app. Her ability to find creative solutions truly exceeded our expectations.
She carried out the project considering all aspects and suggesting appropriate solutions. Varsha and her design team really brought our project to life.
They have demonstrated great willingness to work side by side with our internal team, fostering an extremely positive collaborative environment.
Additionally, Varsha handled communications clearly and transparently, keeping us updated on progress and tackling challenges with determination.
I really appreciated the fact that they were able to clearly understand the app we wanted to create along with the required features and functionality.
We would not hesitate to recommend Builder.ai to anyone in need of an experienced and reliable consultant. Thank you again for your outstanding work!

It's been a bumpy ride but it's getting better.

I've gone through a few Productologists. The first associate really didn't understand the project and we essentially spent months running around in circles, without making any real progress. Essentially, all he wanted to do was argue with me about specific points that he overlooked. It wasn't until the second Productologist, Renan, took over that the project really began to take off. He brought on an entire new set of designers which truly made my vision come to life. It was noticable that he spent time thinking about and working on my project. I honestly felt like I finally had the help to move my project forward. Together, we accomplished more in a few months than I had with the prior Productologist for over almost a year.

Overall, I've been satisfied with the process. As noted in several of the other posted comments, there are opportunities for Builder to improve, particularly in their communication and how they approach their builds. I feel that are a lot of inefficiencies which have caused delays in my project, but my most recent Productologist is open to communication and definitely strives to help close these known gaps.

All in all, the project is taking longer than was originally anticipated by both Builder and myself, but I feel like we're finally headed in a the right direction.

UPDATED REVIEW: I initially described the ride as bumpy, but getting better. The title is now, "Horrible ride, getting worse with each minute".

So I received a call today from Builder indicating that they had mis-scoped my project the prior 3 times and that I needed to pay and additional $97k to keep my project moving forward. Not only this, but my project would be delayed another year (originally was 1 year, not it's 3 years). Funny thing is that nothing has changed on my project's scope for over a year (and since the last time they re-scoped it).

Downgrading my experience to a one-star for the lack of moral and ethical behavior on the part of Builder. Customers shouldn't have to pay for your errors and employees mistakes.

If I had a choice to use Builder again, I wouldn't.

The project with Builder.ai was a disaster through and through.

They work in a waterfall method with Project Managers serving as gatekeepers, preventing you from having access to any developer to iterate faster. You didn't hear from the team for days and suddenly they requested last-minute information without any explanation and if you didn't send them within 1-2 days, they would delay project delivery for 1-2 weeks and would say it was the client's fault. Our project was delayed by more than 4 months due entirely to Builder's lack of professionalism and organization. The code they shipped was not tested at all and they took weeks to correct bugs.

The internal tools Builder.ai has do not work. Their AI agent constantly sends you random emails, it's extremely hard to find any information on the platform and everything seems to be built to increase bureaucracy and to protect Builder.ai from liability from their terrible results.

The Finance team is particularly chaotic. We were charged wrongly multiple times, spent weeks chasing invoices and had to scale up to the CFO level to get an invoice that matched the payments we did.

We eventually had to cancel the project, because of the multiple delays and we could not use any of the code developed. We asked Builder.ai to refund us for the features they hadn't started working on but they refused.

It was an absolute disaster and I would strongly advise everyone against working with Builder.ai.

I had a very good experience with builder.ai. I really appreciated that they were able to clearly understand the app I wanted built along with the required reatures and functionalities. It was also good because as a "not very techie" businessman, I was still able to easily understand any explanations of what they were trying to do. Lastly, I'm pretty satisfied with the timeliness of delivery.

They are great overall but their backend stack needs to upgrade from RoR to NodeJs/ReactJs.

I signed a deal with Builder.ai to get a legal marketplace app developed. They understood my requirements and have been very helpful in facilitating the development, even despite a lot of unexpected delays. The project manager, Mr. Vijay, is an excellent and professional expert in his field. He has been pushing the project while taking into consideration all of the factors that are pushing me, even pushing his team to provide all the help he can. Customer service is very good, and I hope that my partnership with Builder.ai continues, and is long and fruitful for both sides.

Prompt response
