Builtsmarter レビュー

Jamie made a website for my supplement business Just Purity. He did such a great job. He did all the development work himself with very little input from me it. He went above expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised when he stuck to the fact that he didn't want any form of payment until it was complete and I was happy with the work.

I was running brocandle on a stack of apps that never quite did what I wanted. Page builder for the homepage, a separate cart drawer app, two form apps for the wholesale and contact pages, plus all the usual review and popup stuff. Every page looked slightly different and the mobile speed was embarrassing.

Got Jamie in to clean it up. He rebuilt the homepage, the about page and the product pages as proper Shopify sections so I can actually edit them in the theme editor without paying anyone monthly. Cart drawer is now native, forms are native, and he stripped out a ton of leftover code from old apps I'd already uninstalled and forgotten about.

Site loads about twice as fast on mobile now. I cancelled five subscriptions the day we went live. Most importantly nothing went down, he did the lot on a duplicate theme and only pushed it once I'd had a proper look.

The bit that surprised me: he doesn't quote a price. You make him an offer before he starts and he doesn't take payment until you're happy. I was sceptical, paid him what felt fair at the end, would do it again tomorrow.

Genuinely brilliant experience from start to finish

We brought Jamie in to help with our work at Motive8Youth and honestly could not have asked for a better person to collaborate with. From the first conversation he took the time to actually understand what we were trying to do for the young people we support, rather than just pushing a generic solution at us.

The work itself was first class. Everything was delivered on time, communication was clear throughout, and nothing ever felt rushed or half finished. When we asked for tweaks he took the feedback on board straight away and turned things around quickly. He also flagged things we had not even thought about, which saved us headaches later down the line.

What stood out most was how invested he was in getting it right for our cause. You can tell when someone actually cares about the work they are doing, and Jamie clearly does. He balanced being professional with being approachable, and made what could have been a stressful process feel really smooth.

We would recommend him in a heartbeat to any organisation, especially anyone working in the youth or charity space. Thank you Jamie for everything you have done for Motive8Youth.

I didn’t have a website and was recommended Jamie through a friend for my supplement company. It cost me £700 and Jamie didnt push back on anything, whatever I wanted Jamie did for me and it’s fair to say it was value for money. I was more than prepared to pay a deposit but he insisted payment on completion once I was happy with the work

Thank you for all the help, maintaining and growing our email marketing segment of the business.

Builtsmarter have been nothing short of incredible. They completely redeveloped my website for my busy skin clinic, and the result is genuinely stunning even if I do say so myself.

What really sets them apart is the seamless integration. Everything now works together perfectly my CRM, booking system, and overall website functionality. It’s all been handled effortlessly, which has made a huge difference to how smoothly the business runs day to day.

They’re now taking things even further by building a fully customised ecosystem within the site, allowing bookings, payments, staff management, and customer information to all be handled in one place. That level of sophistication and forward-thinking is rare.

The service and expertise have truly surpassed my expectations. They clearly know their craft inside out not just technically, but from a marketing and customer experience perspective too. They just get it.

I’m genuinely grateful I found them. If you’re looking for a team that delivers both technically and strategically, Builtsmarter are the people to go.

We recently worked with Jamie at builtsmarter.co.uk to resolve several issues on our website, and the results were excellent.

They quickly identified and fixed problems with our non-functioning submission forms, ensuring everything worked reliably again. They also corrected the reCAPTCHA integration, which had been causing disruptions, and implemented it properly so that submissions are now both secure and user-friendly.

On top of that, they went beyond the initial brief by fixing an embedded Google Map exactly as requested, integrating it seamlessly into the site. What really stood out, though, was their initiative in improving the overall form submission experience. They enhanced the response pages to be clearer and more professional, which has made a noticeable difference in how users interact with our site.

Importantly, when a later settings change on our side that unexpectedly broke the form submissions again, they were quick to step back in and resolve the issue without fuss. That level of follow-up support made a big difference.

Communication throughout was clear and efficient, and all work was delivered promptly. A very capable, proactive, and reliable provider—highly recommended.
