Horrible service! My website was hacked, no backups, and support never responded. Complete waste of money.

I have been a loyal customer of Canadian Web Hosting for over 15 years, hosting more than 50 of my own domains and hundreds of client domains. For many years, the service and support were excellent.

However, over the past 1–2 years, service quality has drastically declined. My websites and many of my clients’ websites suffered from slow performance, frequent downtime, virus attacks, and data loss. Despite paying for SSL-secured hosting, backups were not maintained, forcing me to rebuild several sites at my own expense.

Most recently, I lost my primary business website, which I had hosted for over 15 years. I also had to redesign multiple client websites for free due to their service failures. After repeatedly raising complaints, I received an email stating I have 30 days to remove all domains and hosting, and that they no longer want to do business with me.

Given the repeated failures, data loss, and forced termination, I cannot recommend Canadian Web Hosting. The service no longer meets professional standards, and their handling of long-term customers is unacceptable.

Been a customer for 4 years now. I'm not a heavy user, to be honest I just use the service for email and a small blog that no one knows about (it's more for me to use as a travel diary). I've used so many shared hosting companies for more than 20 years and like many people, I've had to deal with massive outages and other problems at some point but with CWH, I haven't had to contact them once in 4 years for a service related issue. The couple times I have needed help (account or settings questions), Communication and customer service has been quick, professional and helpful. They even have a chat window so you don't have to deal with email tag....I love this feature. This company is amazing.
