Cannot recommend enough!

We had issues with our 18 month old Border Collie’s recall and walking on lead.

After only 2 sessions we have largely resolved these issues.

The sessions consisted of walks where we observed, discussed and corrected both our and the dog’s behaviours. Everything was discussed clearly and non-patronisingly within the context of a leader / pack relationship. Many of the changes were small but extremely effective.

We are now much happier taking our dog for walks, trust the dog much more and the dog is much happier too.

Flurina at Canine Sense is an amazing woman who gave us skills and knowledge to be able to give our dog Gus a better home life. She taught us how to give him better structure, discipline in a gentle manner that suited our family and how to enjoy our life with Gus again. Before we met Flurina we felt like we were failing at being dog owners and were close to rehoming him. She turned that around.

Flurina was amazing, met at my house and came across very friendly.
We had problems with our 1 year old dog who gets excited at dog while on leash, lunges and barks at times... but with 30 mins of having Flurina around, felt like we had a totally different dog with us. We'll behaved, not even batter an eyelid at dogs in the park.
She explained everything so well and demonstrated as well as coaching you.
After the session, I didn't feel left on my own, Flurina gave advice and tips and was more than happy to hear how I was progressing.
I recommend Flurina to anyone who are having behavioural problem with their dogs.

Flurina is excellent, I would highly recommend her. We had tried a number of other trainers and none of their techniques worked so we weren’t feeling too confident until we met Flurina. From the minute she started helping us with Max it worked. She never spoke down to us or made us feel silly, she explained everything so well and really has made a difference. We wouldn’t have dreamed of taking Max to busy areas on a walk due to his reactiveness and now we often do, of course we have a few moments but now it is more positive than negative and we know how to correct situations. Thank you so much for helping us.

Flurina has helped us transform our 1 year old Labrador. We noticed a dramatic improvement after just one session. We were struggling with his destructive behaviour, pulling on the lead and generally not listening to us. This has all completely changed. I had couple of sessions with Flurina and Loki, my working line GSD which is around 10 months old. Flurina is really passionate about what she does and she has a unique way on trying to understand and communicate with dogs. She is so friendly, calm and will listen to your issues. Her ways are really effective. Loki was pulling like a train who doesn't respect me at all and is also reactive with smaller dogs because of bad experience with off leash dogs in the past. I couldn't even barely walk him with my Wife's dog together. However, after few sessions, she has shown and let me understand how it works in the animal world. It took time and effort to understand what Loki needs. I am now making an effort to make sure he's satisfied by giving him walks/exercise. Now I can see the difference with Loki as he respects me more. I can walk him now with ease. Thanks to Flurina for showing me the way to be a pack leader. I would definitely recommend Flurina for any breed, size or issue.

Flurina was full of excellent advice. She really helped us with our reactive puppy we adopted. I would high recommend using her - and ask as many questions as you can to tap into her wealth of knowledge!

Thank you Flurina for helping us see this day where Ollie can now walk with bigger dogs without reacting or being scared of them. We had honestly tried everything from positive enforcement to tips on YouTube but Flurina showed us how to help and understand Ollie from the first session and we could already see the difference. His recall has got so much better too. Can’t recommend her enough!

Brilliant! Flurina literally came into the house and turned our 15 month old retriever around in an hour. It was fascinating and so helpful. Can’t recommend her highly enough!

My dog is a little over two years old and I was looking to improve her recall and stop her from jumping up at people. The results from Flurina were almost instantaneous. She gave simple, practical guidance, answered all of my questions and provided me insight into how my dog thinks and communicates. During the sessions we covered a whole range of topics and I am now in the process of successfully implementing them. 10/10.

Flurina was a real help with our energetic and hyper-sensitive puppy, Coco. Her calm and no nonsense approach really showed Coco who was boss (which was very much needed!) and the techniques she taught us have made a big difference to Coco's behaviour. Warm, friendly and deeply knowledgeable. We had two, hour long sessions to address our rescue dog’s behaviour inside the house and also whilst walking on the lead. It has been transformative. Our dog, Zola, 18 months, is happier and calmer. Walking on the lead has also been transformed. After one session and 2 days following the advice, Zola trots calmly by my side as we walk, no pulling and better recall.

I couldn’t recommend Fluorina highly enough.

Flurina is a miracle worker! We have a Romanian rescue dog with multiple issues and within one session we had a brand new dog, I believe anyone who needs help for their dog needs Flurina. Our dog is happier, calmer and content, no longer trying to attack anything that moves and an absolute pleasure to be around. The anxiety I had whilst out with our dog was awful and I honestly believed that we may not be be able to help her, thank gooiness for Canine sense, Flurina we will never be able to thank you enough for what you've done for us and our dog.

Flurina's results speak for themselves. We have an Australian labradoodle who suffers from separation anxiety as well as barking and jumping on guests or when the doorbell rang. From the very first meeting with Flurina, we knew she was a fantastic and highly skilled dog trainer and behaviourist. We were shocked by how quickly she changed our dogs' behaviour. Her methods and techniques are easy to follow and show results almost instantly! She is very friendly, reliable and also very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend her for any training or behaviour needs you may have!

Really high rate Flurina at canine sense great positive punctual attitude I adopted my sproodle at 2 yrs old with several behaviour issues after once a month lessons I have been able to practice what we have learnt and understood my dogs needs i can now leave my dog by itself for 2 hrs and walk past other dogs without a barkathon my dog now understands boundaries making me relaxed too many thanks flurina

Really happy with the help we got! Our dog was very aggressive on the lead and thought it would be a long drawn out challenge to get better but after a couple of sessions with Flurina the overall behaviour of our dog transformed. Recommend to all my friends! Thanks you

Absolutely fantastic. Flurina came for an hour session and within a few days already there has been such a huge difference. We can't wait to have her back and would strongly recommend to anyone with problem pooches, no matter how big or small the problem or pooch.

Flurina helped us to overcome a specific challenge with our little rescue pup - recall once distracted by other dogs out on walks. Flurina visited and observed us in our home environment, out on a walk and provided us with guidance, feedback and most of all insight into the mindset of a 'pack leader'. We saw results after the first session. Subsequent sessions built on this. I highly recommend Flurina, she is a first class dog behaviourist, she really listens and provides techniques and solutions. The whole experience has been so insightful - the relationship with our little dog continues on a much more even footing underpinned by trust, boundaries and joy!
