Canterbury hifi were brilliant from the start to the finish. I wanted to create a cinema room and needed guidance to help me purchase all the right gear. They were always happy to help and having a shop local to me is so valuable. We are so pleased with the end result, it's amazing! I'll be back again!

Emailed Canterbury Hifi for a Project Power Box S3. Will replied that he had one and for next day delivery.

Fantastic experience using the new vinyl cleaning service. They have a state of the art Pro-Ject VC-S3 record cleaning machine that cleans up old vinyl into sounding brand new. It works wonders! You can get it done while you wait and takes no time at all.

Canterbury HiFi really are a class above. Great range of A/V equipment, really helpful and knowledgable staff and great value. Thoroughly recommend.

Really excellent service! Staff were very knowledgeable about all their products and offered really great advice. I purchased a new amplifier and very happy with it. They are far better than their larger competitors and I will certainly return.

I have bought hi fi kit 4 times from Canterbury Hi Fi over the last few years. On each occasion I found the staff very helpful, well informed about the products they sell and willing to take the time in demonstrating the kit to make sure I got what was right for me. I have just bought a pair of Meze earphones from them which I am very pleased with. A mid price pair that are great value for money. You can also go in for advice at any time and there is no pressure to make a purchase.

You only find out how good a company is when things don’t quite go according to plan. I made the mistake purchasing an item which was too large to fit. Canterbury hifi exchanged it for a replacement item in a weekend sale at a very good price and refunded the difference with no problems whatsoever.

Canterbury HiFi provided us with an incredible sound system. They were very responsive to questions about delivery, and answered all of our queries relating to setup. Highly recommended!

Very good experience. It was a graded B product and I wanted some photos of why and i got them and an explanation quickly.
Purchase was quick and delivery reasonably priced and I got the items 2 day later.

Popped into here looking to update my 30 year old well loved hifi. A great array of kit is on display in the showroom and I had already been googling what I wanted , which they had in stock. The salesman politely ask me if I needed help and very expertly answered my questions on my shortlist. He then offered to fire up the amp and speakers I was looking looking to buy in their demo room. This helped greatly to form an opinion on exactly what I wanted and the salesman also demonstrated a few options to help with my budget. Great service . Needless to say I came out of the shop with a new setup that I am confident I will enjoy. They also very kindly carried the array of boxes to my car, which was parked in the handy car park on site. Great buying experience with good knowledge, great kit and helpful staff . Perfect.

This morning Phil came to our house and set up our Ruark 5. I should explain that we are pensioners and not very tech savvy! However, he was extremely patient, set everything up and carefully explained how to use all the different functions. We now have a superb sound system - CD player, internet and DAB radio, and phono. We understand it all and can even bluetooth from our iphones!! We are very happy pensioners and delighted with the service we have received. If you, like us, are not up to speed with modern technology, Canterbury Hi-Fi is the place to go. You won’t be disappointed.

I cannot praise them enough, I was having problems with my system & needed to replace some components, it was so refreshing to speak to someone who knows what they are talking about & is patient enough to help sort it out and not just trying to sell you something that’s not needed, they went out of their way to sort out the equipment I needed. Thank you Will & colleague.
