Terrible company,Ordered floor months ago,We could never get a reply,I now get told they gone BUST and someone has brought the webpage but non of the orders that go with it,Been told to get money back from bank and nothing anyone can do,Just stay way and keep your money safe not worth the drama.

Very poor customer service
I bought a carpet which arrived with dirty marks on it. It had obviously been laid out somewhere dirty, and then marks transferred to front when rolled up. They weren't interested in putting it right, first blamed manufacturers, then said I could have put marks there myself!! Very friendly when you're making an order, different matter when there's a problem. Don't use them.

After purchasing our carpet then looking at these reviews I was a bit concerned. I used the number on the website and someone answered. They were very friendly and I had the carpet within a couple of days. I think these are new owners who are getting the company up and running again. Carpet arrived promptly and in good condition. Like many others who have posted reviews on this site recently, we had a hugely frustrating and stressful time after ordering from Carpetsandfloorsonline.co.uk, at the end of July. Multiple 'promises' and 'guarantees' from Charlee and Harrison about delivery dates were broken; it was difficult, and then impossible, to get through to them by phone; they didn't call back when they said they would, and emails went unanswered.

I suspect the company is facing trading difficulties, as a we had a reasonable experience when we ordered from them a couple of years ago.

After a month of waiting for our carpets (with various implications for family life and the tradesmen we'd booked in to work on our house) we cancelled the order and went elsewhere, but only got our money back through the PayPal dispute process.

I reviewed this company five days ago, still no delivery and no one answering phone or emails. Everyone needs to contact trading standards to stop this company from taking anyone else's money. Also as feefo reviews are linked to their website you also need to get a review on there, I contacted feefo via their website and they sent me a link to review this company.

I helped my 80 year old mother to save money (or so I thought) by buying carpet online from this company. 4th August, order placed and paid for in full. Email received to say would ship within 10 days and further email about this to follow. Nothing. I contacted them on 14th August and spoke to Charlie. She advised carpet would be delivered on Friday 17th August. My mum called me on the 18th... no delivery had been made. No answer when I rang them. Eventually they answered on Tues 21st. Charlie again. I said that, at this stage, my elderly mother had had her old carpet removed and is wandering around on underlay! She apologised (again) and said she would contact “dispatch” to find out the circumstances and call me back. No call back. I eventually got in touch again (believe me their phone rings out or is engaged - good luck making contact!) on Thursday 23rd. Charlie apologised again! Again promises of a call back so I threatened to cancel order if I did not hear from her. She called back and left message on my voicemail to say Harrison Fry had emailed with a delivery date the day before. I checked my spam folder. Sure enough, an email. Delivery date would be Thursday 30th August. I called my mum... Sod’s Law she was going on holiday for a few days that day. I managed to get in touch with the company again, this time Harrison himself answered the phone! He said what he’d do is arrange for a courier to get it to her on Wednesday 29th instead. He would get them to collect it from them on Tuesday 28th after the bank holiday. Guess what? Still no carpet arrived on 29th or 30th and no further contact from them. At this point I have still not been able to get in touch with them again. The phone continues to ring. It’s now 12th September and my mum has had to raise a visa dispute with the bank. Hopefully she will get her money back although she used her debit card rather than a credit card. I can’t warn you enough not to use this company. They face a Feefo rating on their website which makes them appear far more trustworthy than they are. But the one star reviews that have managed to slip through their net all reflect this sorry state of affairs. Gutted that I put my mum in this situation

I made the mistake of ordering from this company before checking the reviews. Flooring ordered 19th August and I’ve heard nothing since!! I’ve called and emailed numerous times but no answer.
How can a company like this still operate and have a website?? They should be ashamed of themselves.
I’m now trying to get my money back via my bank.

I paid for a carpet on 16th August and have had no contact from this company since, they do not pick up the phone or respond to emails and there is no sign of my carpet.

I paid by credit card so have begun a claim under Section 75.
I've also emailed Feefo - who are the customer review service linked to their site, perhaps others would like to follow suit to try and warn any new customers. I have also reported them via Citizens Advice, there is an online form to do this, so no need to use the pay number.

This is a company I've used before (about a year ago) at that time service was good and I received my order with no problems. Sarah who I dealt with then, doesn't seem to work there any longer - at least emails to her address are bouncing back.

Absolutely terrible. Con artists and the review by a so called 'Louise' on 22nd August is obviously fake- the numbers on the website haven't changed and it's now September.
Ordered a carpet and heard NOTHING since. No replies to email and before you order just try ringing the 0333 number. They haven't answered for 2 weeks now.

Luckily I paid via PayPal and have opened up a dispute so more chance of getting my money back than most of these poor souls.

Ordered flooring on the 28th of june . So many false promises of delivery it never happened the last communication i had with them i was promised a full refund and that was 2 weeks ago. Now its early September. No contact ,phone just rings out. Emails ignored. Fuming isnt the word. Only ever had contact with 1 girl charlee whos now taken to ignoring me as well. This was months ago and i saved hard for that money im actually livid about this . I wonder if they have all the numbers of rhe people they have conned and.have them pop ip so they know to ignore them

Fraudulent thieves!
I placed an order and called them immediately to question delivery. The lady said they couldnt deliver for when I needed it so I asked to cancel the order which she was happy to do. Three weeks later and they still haven’t refunded my money or answered any emails or calls.
I have informed the bank and police.

Ordered a carpet 4 weeks ago, was told i would have delivery within 10 days. on the 17th day i was told carpet would be delivered. it never showed up. I have rang countless times and emailed but not had a reply now to anything.
Currently trying to get money back through Paypal

Terrible service, I can't speak to anyone on the phone, it just rings out. No one replies to emails. I ordered my floor on the 20th of July, it's now 31st of August and I don't know when it's being delivered. Luckily I paid with a credit card so I will have to ask my bank to step in to arrange a refund.
DO NOT USE

I’ve had exactly the same experience as the other victims of carpets and floors online! No delivery, lies then no contact. Carpets and floors online don’t answer their phone. Both numbers starting in 01274 and 0333 just ring through. They don’t reply to emails. They just take your money and ignore you. I’ve opened a case with PayPal to try to get my money back. Carpets and floors online are con artists. They have no intention of ever sending you anything and I would seriously question any good review put on here.

Take your money and no contact or delivery!

Took my money for a carpet and fobbed me off with various excuses why it has not been delivered, 5 weeks in and now they are not answering my calls or emails! Last excuse was "its a 5 metre wide roll"

Now opened up a payment dispute with my card provider to get a full refund! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company.

Ordered 1 box of Windsor oak which they said they had in stock but Delivery will be 10 days. That was ok at that time ,however when the delivery was meant to be done they said that they are to busy to delivery in the area i requested. After 1 month of making excuses and pissing my customer off with all this delivery dates but never happen. The day was out for delivery miraculously it got lost. Well isn't that convenient that once this it got lost they have run out of stock as well....
When i asked fro the tracking number the sales person i deal with Charlee Aram said that only her manager has access to this...Yet another lie. This was never sent out

Don't use them as you never know if they indeed have stock or not.

When i placed the order with Carpets and Floors online I was nervous as i came on here and google and read the reviews, It came to my second working day and I only received the confirmation email, I rang the number on the website and there was no answer at this moment in time i was panicking a bit, i then emailed in and within half hour I received a call from the lady working in customer service Charlee, she explained they had just moved premises and the number had changed she gave me the correct number that i can get her on and said they will be looking into changing the number on the website they was just on with it, i explained i read the reviews and i was nervous with what i was going to experience she talked me through step by step and made sure i was at ease, I waited like she told me too as i knew delivery was within ten working days, it came to my fourth working day and i received an email with tracking details and saying my delivery will be with me tomorrow between 9 - 5pm i waited in all day, to be honest expecting my delivery not to turn up, it came at 12pm and i received my flooring it is now fitted and looks amazing! i'm not really one for writing reviews but i feel like with this company i received a great service that i could not fault at all please do not read the review and let them put you off

Carpets and Floors Online were very quick to respond to emails prior to my purchase, telling me:
"Yes we have this item in stock.
Delivery is up to 7 working days but usually comes sooner."
I placed the order and that is basically where all communications from Carpets and Floors Online stopped. No updates, no expected delivery date, nothing.
I phoned a few times; told that the item had gone out of stock at the manufacturer and that it would be available by a certain date; which came and went.

After being fed up of waiting for anyone to call me back with news of my carpet I phoned the manufacturer - who told me there was plenty of stock and there had been stock available for months.

Called back and confronted them with this information; only now to be told a different story that they order in bulk and hadn't had their delivery yet, and that they didn't know when they'd be getting it, but that if I waited til date X it would be delivered.

At this point I'd had enough and asked them to refund. Of course, this wasn't forthcoming either; the dates by which the money should have arrived back in my account came and went. Went to a local shop who arranged the same carpet direct from manufacturer within a couple of days and for less money to boot!

In the end I phoned my Credit Card co and got them involved; they arranged a refund onto my card.

Perhaps my experience isn't typical, (if it is I can't understand how they are in business) but I'd urge you to think twice. As it turned out they weren't even that cheap - a local co beat their price and dealt with me as a customer with the respect I deserved.

I rarely feel compelled to review anything but on this occasion Carpets and Floors Online are completely deserving of no stars

On Thursday 12th July 2018 I ordered and paid for a length of carpet from Carpets and Floors Online. The website states that orders will be delivered within 10 working days. On the Tuesday the 17th I emailed them to ask if they could possibly give me an ETA, i.e. was there a specific day (for delivery in my area), as I needed to move furniture around to accommodate the carpet and I had a guest staying for the purpose of assisting me with this. We also wanted to plan a couple of days out but I didn't dare take the risk. Receiving no response I phoned on the 20th and was told to expect a delivery at the 'back end' of the following week and that they would email me beforehand.

On the 25th they phoned and informed me that my carpet would not be with me until the beginning of the next week, on either the Monday or Tuesday, and that I would receive an email advising me of the delivery time.

Another week passed and on Wednesday 1st of August I sent a further email and received the following response:

'Hello
This will be on the Tuesday/Wednesday run next week, I am really sorry for your wait it has just been a stock issue with this product, as we order in bulk the manufacturer told us we was expecting the delivery this week, they have then moved it back to the back end of this week then we can deliver this to you on the next run which is Tuesday/Wednesday

On Wednesday the 8th of August when, yet again, the carpet failed to arrive and I'd received no communication, I emailed them stating, as I had previously told them, I needed to go away to visit a sick relative. I had originally planned to do this when my guest left - she was to accompany me on the first part of the journey to the west country. There was no response.

On Friday 10 August I emailed requesting that, given that 29 days had passed since I'd paid them, they cancel the order and refund me with immediate effect. It clearly wasn't going to arrive on a Saturday, i.e. the 30th day.

I then researched their reviews and wished that I'd done so beforehand; it seems that I am from alone in my experience - other customers on both Google and Trustpilot have had almost identical experiences with their orders and when requesting a refund have been ignored.

I went to the bank to ask for advice and was advised to contact the fraud department. Upon returning home, quite incredibly, there was a message on my answerphone stating that the carpet would definitely be with me on Monday 13th August (even though I'd asked to cancel and for my money back). I gave them the benefit of the doubt (naively!) and thought that it actually might happen. A further email requesting a refund and stating that I would initiate a PayPal dispute has also been ignored.

This has caused a huge inconvenience to me as I'd expected to have the carpet fitted by at least the beginning of August, to have visited my relative, i.e. my sister, who is very seriously ill. I will also have to hire someone to assist me with putting the furniture back and, as my fitter will not be available for another two months, I have had to contact another company to both supply and fit the same carpet which is apparently easily available (I'm trying to get my house on the market and this whole affair has put me back by four weeks and - more if you factor in the time I now have to wait for the forthcoming fitting). I'm also in receipt of a state pension and cannot afford to waste money like this.

The norm is that if a product is not in stock you are told of this when you place an order (assuming it doesn't state this on the website which, of course, it should) and given the opportunity to either cancel or wait. It would seem that Carpets and Floors Online have no qualms about taking people's money and not following through on the orders. I'm astonished that people can behave like this. Clearly, they have no conscience. I will also be reporting them to Rogue Traders because well, what else are they?
