Terrible service. DO NOT USE, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY PRICE. 6 weeks after ordering a carpet that should be delivered in 10 days i still have no carpet and no date for delivery. Rude and disinterested staff fail to communicate basics, i have had to call and email multiple times to get any information. Then told lies about it being out for delivery or not in the warehouse on multiple occasions. Eventually ordered with different company.

Worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Totally unprofessional and although their website dupes you into thinking you are using a trusted and experienced business, don’t be fooled they are a bunch of amateurs. I wasted a day of holidays waiting in for a promised delivery. They did not respond to calls or emails when I tried to speak with them until days later I emailed for refund. Surprise they rang me and arranged another delivery date only to then try to put that date back. Enough is enough. Now claiming refund with my credit card. Avoid this company unless you want to be let down and stressed with the hassle!

There is a reason they have not claimed this page because they use another site for reviews feefo and only send a request to customers who didn't had any issues.

My experiences with them was nightmare and it started me by ordering a stripe carpet which was cheaper than local shop. I should have done better review searching and would have found this page.

So I ordered the carpet and got the confirmation email. No mention of when it will be delivered 1 week gone, second week gone, I contacted them and Charle told me they will get it in stock and will be on their wed delivery run so I booked the fitter for weekend. No confirmation email and I called them again on Tuesday and they said its moved to Saturday now with no logical reason of why. I cancelled the fitting and moved it to next weekend. Exactly same thing happened and delivery was moved again for no reason given to me.
After about calling them twice every week I got the carpet after 5 weeks and fitting arrange for the coming weekend. Ok i was happy I have the carpet and it will be over soon but guess what, it was completely different carpet which was sent to me. I ordered a stripe and was delivered plain, I mean how can you do that, was there no checks, I can understand the mistake in just the colour but even then. At that point, I decided I do not want to wait another 5 weeks so I ordered the carpet from local shop at higher price and was delivered in 3 days and fitted.

Now the task was to get it returned to them and get my money back. How hard that could be? VERY VERY HARD

Called them endless times to pick up the carpet but they kept saying this Saturday and then nothing happened, then wed, and then sat and when I threatened them with trading standards they told me they have advised their external courier company to pick it up (DX Courier). I asked for a tracking number to arrange a suitable time but lady said they don't have it and just google search and contact the number and give them your postcode. A complete LIE. Nonone from DX contacted me so I called them and they said they don't have any collection order so I called them back and lady said OH, let me check and after 2 min hold said they called and left a message (LIE - as they didnt) and told me now she has arranged it to collect tmrw. Again no one came to collect it but surprise surprise 2 days later their own van came and collected it. So they have telling me lies all the time about DX. Even the driver said alot of people complain to him about this.
Now the carpet has been picked and I want the money back. No communication from them for 4 days so I called them again and this time refund got processed and 2 days later money was refunded.

I am sure they are positive experiences for some customers but when it goes wrong it will go very wrong and in my opinion not worth it. Waste 2 of my annual leaves in delivery and collection on days promised but never delivered.

Avoid at all costs. This company is fraudulent.

No delivery ETA will be given after your order. After pressuring the company I was given 2 delivery dates, both missed with no information.

I then opened a dispute with PayPal. Carpetsandfloorsonline phoned me and threatened not to send the order unless I closed the dispute (If you close the dispute - you can't open it again!).

After a manager got involved they said they would dispatch it the following Monday - another lie that was unfulfilled. Requested a refund and now carpetsandfloorsonline ignore my emails and phone calls.

If you have an order and paid with PayPal or Credit Card, I strongly suggest opening a chargeback asap and retrieving your money back. If they contact you and ask to close the disupte or chargeback, DON'T DO IT, as you'll be unable to re-open the dispute once its closed.

DO NOT USE.... LIARS, NO DELIVERY, NO TRACKING, NO REFUND, CONSTANT LIES OVER ROUGHLY 20 PHONE CALLS.... SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHER AND ACTUALLY RECIEVE WHAT YOU ORDER

I am a flooring contractor with 40 years experience in my industry. In March this year to fullfill a contract for a major customer I was obliged unusually to purchase carpet from this company as opposed to the trade itself.
Over the next 3 months I spent over £19000 with them!
However 2 of the rolls of carpet supplied were of a considerably lower quality and sent them a sample to view themselves. Their response[Norman] was the quality was ok and they sold loads of this carpet and had never had a quality issue before with it? They refused to take back the 2 rolls and refund my money! I then had a sample tested by the official trade body who confirmed the product was a 30 o/z pile weight and not 40 o/z pile weight as paid for. After seeing the results the supplier[Norman] suggested he would collect and refund my money once the product was returned to him. As you can imagine I do not trust this company and am now taking legal action to retrieve my costs.
Avoid this company at ALL COSTS!

Mickey Mouse organisation. In chronological order:

1. Lead time not met. (“Sorry we’ve been busy”)
2. Wrong product delivered.
3. Inability to rectify for another five days.
4. Promised a replacement on Thursday.
5. Told on Thursday that it had only just come in to the warehouse.
6. Was told it “definitely 100%” would arrive on Friday. Alas they were unable to give me tracking details.
7. Hadn’t arrived by Monday. Apparently they couldn’t tell me who the courier was “because of data protection”. And they couldn’t find the tracking information. When I pointed out that was a complete nonsense they finally told me it was DX.
8. Finally they told me on Monday afternoon that DX had lost the order. How convenient....

I feel sorry for the young lady Charlee who communicated with me. I’m sure she’s a decent sort but is having to lie through her teeth to cover the backsides or her cowboy bosses. To Charlee, do yourself a favour and resign. Get yourself a job that isn’t going to make you do this.

The single worst organisation I’ve ever dealt with. I can’t stress enough how much you need to ensure you never EVER order from these jokers. Sure they’re cheap, but they’re cheap for a reason.

I had to mark 1 star or i couldn't post review.. this is a con..you pay and they don't deliver. Like many other on here I should have checked the reviews and believed them..Seriously I ordered 200 pounds worth of vinyl 2 weeks ago..Not Received..Even contacted the delivery company who they say they use, they told me nothing to be delivered to me.. Customer service by a female called Charlee was pleasant but she is a liar, 3 times i waited in for a delivery on separate dates, taking time off work.
PAYPAL are dealing with them, although they don't seem to care..A business set up just to RIP HARDWORKING HONEST PEOPLE OFF!!..Take your money and NOT deliver the goods....You WILL receive your judgement for your deeds!!! THIEVES!!!

I placed my order & contacted the company after not hearing from them for about a week with estimated delivery. I then read the online reviews & panicked. I sent an email & someone from customer service called me the next day & updated me on my order. I was then contacted a few days later with delivery date. Carpet was delivered as arranged. I saved £10 a square meter using this company. I am very happy with the service. Admittedly communication after placing order could have been better, but this is a company that has expanded & is just having a few ‘growing pains’. Give them a chance.

If you do not mind chasing them repeatedly for delivery and don't mind when your carpet arrives then order through them. Otherwise I strongly recommend you do not. I was told 5-10 days for delivery when I ordered then 5-10 working days when I heard nothing. After 10 calls and one month later the carpet was delivered!

Sent a simple query in regarding pile direction and cutting and didn't get a response... I'm pleased about this - I've now found these reviews and won't be buying anything from them.

Initially delivered the wrong colour of carpet, however, they were helpful when we called up and Harrison the owner did his best to rectify the situation. He was pleasant and helpful, and tried to get our new carpet to us as soon as he could (even fitting in delivery at a very busy time of year to accommodate my rant!). Delivery driver was very pleasant and helpful even though it was late and he had been driving all over the country. After an initially shaky start, I am pleased with the way the company dealt with their mistake.

Placed an order which at first was totally forgot about then the delivery date changed 3 times. Took about 3 weeks to get delivery. Was promised some vouchers which never came. Cheap but useless

Ordered 2 Carpets with Carpets & Floors online. After no communication after 7 days I contacted them to find out about delivery. The website says 7 working days from order to delivery, however this is not true, after 9 days and the fact Carpets & Floors online could not give me a delivery date to Aberdeen I cancelled order. I placed order with Flooring megastore and had delivery of 2 Carpets in 5 days from order. I wish I had checked online reviews before placing order with Carpets & Floors online.

After reading other reviews on this company I was apprehensive whether to make a purchase or not. In the end, the price was sufficient a draw for me to give it a go.

We paid for a carpet which we had seen at £10 per metre more expensive in a nearby shop...and waited.

After a week with no news, I made a call to them and asked about our order. A nice woman called Sarah explained that our order was in and they were setting a date to deliver in our area. I explained that we hadn't received a confirmation email and Sarah apologised and resent it which I found. I then found that they actually had sent the original confirmation email but, as their email address isn't the same as their company name, I had missed it.

Although a date was set for delivery, unfortunately the company had to re-schedule due to a driver reporting sick. A further date was set two days later and the carpet was delivered on time.

The carpet and underlay looked good and once it arrived we booked our carpet fitter who confirmed that the carpet and underlay were of a good standard.

The missing confirmation email and rescheduled delivery were just minor problems in view of the great price for goods, which have now been fitted and look great.

I would say, if the price is good for you then go ahead and book. After reading previous reviews I factored in a little extra time for delivery and this worked well.

All in all, I was happy with the purchase.

Terrible. Wrong carpet size to begin with followed by a delivery driver who called me a c**t when delivering the replacement piece and who also scuffed the walls in a newly decorated house. Wouldn't go near this outfit with a barge-pole.

Harrison Fry, (an employee?) consistently failed to address my complaints on 3 occasions, eventually saying that the carpets came in the house at my own risk. Eventually he suggested he'd put some discount vouchers in the post as recompense, which I turned down. A poor excuse for a company which you should not waste your time even considering.

My delivery was due on Friday (3-6pm) before the May Bank Holiday weekend. The order confirmation said that the driver will phone when he is 30 minutes away. It also said that there was going to be a tracking number on the sheet. There was no tracking number and there was no telephone call. Worst of all; there was no phone number so I could not phone the driver.
The carpet did not arrive by 6pm on this the last day before the bank holiday weekend. I felt intense anxiety. What was I to do? I knew I would have to tell the carpet fitter to postpone the fitting but for how long? I slept very little that night.
I was just looking at 'reviews' on this website and was discussing the debacle with a friend on the phone. 'Reviews' seemed to indicate that this sort of problem was common and at best the resolution came about a week later but sometimes..... Just then the doorbell rang (8.15am Saturday). It was the carpet delivery.
I opened my garage where I had spent hours clearing a space for these two rolls of carpet. On starting to help get the carpet off the van to put it in the garage it was clear that the carpet was wrong. I had ordered carpet that should have been cut from a 4m wide roll. Each was 5m wide and would not fit in the garage. However, I was not going to send it away, now that I had it.
I have yet to discover if the lengths are right [5.5m and 6m]
Let's hope this company has only wasted 11.5 sq metres of carpet and not over 55 sq metres!!!!!!

Ordered lino from them and received a delivery date of 23rd May nothing arrived. I've emailed them without success as well as calling them and leaving a message. The only think this company seem to be competent at doing is relieving you of money! Poor poor service I cannot recommend this company they are utterly incompetent!

You emailed me with the 23rd as a delivery date. I got a reply from Harrison Fry stating the lino would definitely be with me on the 26th and he would email me. I received neither. But too my complete surprise it got delivered today in the afternoon lucky I was in really!

As for not having an answer phone during office hours I guess Friday at 4.30pm is outside of your office hours!

I read these reviews before ordering so was prepared for the experience I had; I feel 2 stars is fair as the price was very good and the carpet looks great but as per everyone else's experience it wasn't good customer service at all! I ordered and paid online and received an email saying I would be contacted with a delivery date, after waiting a few days I emailed in and was told my carpet would be delivered on Monday. Expecting problems I was amazed when my carpet turned up on the day and was all set to leave a glowing review but when I got home the underlay was not there. I rang up and was told by a girl who didn't sound bothered at all, that she didn't know why the underlay wasn't delivered and she would call me back. I waited all afternoon and eventually rang back up to be told it should have been sent but wasn't put on the van and I would have to wait until the following Monday for it to be delivered. Being only 40 miles (Manchester) or so from Bradford I wasn't too pleased with being told that it would take a further 7 days to bring me the underlay they had not put on the van in the first instance. I had already rearranged my carpet fitter by this point so waited the 7 days for the underlay. It didn't arrive that day and was told (by the same uninterested girl on the phone) that they were putting the delivery guy up in a hotel for the night as the traffic had been so bad and he would continue the deliveries the next day. I explained I am only 1 hour from Bradford but she replied "yeah but it's not just you we're delivering to is it" which of course went down very well after I had waited 7 days already due to their mistake. Normally if a company makes a mistake they go out of their way to rectify it quickly, being only 1 hour away I would have expected them to bring me the underlay the same week at the latest to be honest or at the very least be extremely apologetic. I think they could do with hiring someone with at least basic customer service experience to answer the phones and it might make people a little more tolerant of these mistakes somebody keeps making with the deliveries!

Shame you can't give zero stars.

They debited my credit card immediately after my order but three weeks later I am still waiting for delivery.

They promised me delivery after a week - nothing arrived. I called them and they said the payment had been blocked, but it hadn't as I could see my card was debited.

They promised me delivery the following week, but nothing arrived.

I called them again in the third week and they told me that the delivery had been made on the previous Saturday. This was nonsense. The address I had given them (and it was confirmed by them as the place of delivery) was my place of work and the building was closed. I warned them that I expected delivery at my place of work before the end of Friday or I would cancel the order. This morning I was informed that my delivery will be scheduled for Saturday.

I have cancelled the order. I have been told that my card will be reimbursed with 48 hours. If I don't receive the money I will pass the matter on to Visa.

These people are grossly incompetent at best.
