Exceptional Customer Service!

I can’t thank the sales / support team enough. They went out of their way to help me identify the parts required, they asked for photos of the product, matched it to the spare parts and sent me photos when I raised queries about fitting and how my fire back casting should look - like a lot of these products it had been “modified” over the years. So, thank you Ella, Tom, Jade and at least three other people who helped me out. I haven’t experienced customer service like this in decades

Amazing Service.

I would like to thank Tom and his MD at Carron for their "above and beyond" service. I contacted them to replace a missing part on my Carron wood burner that was not part of the "usual spares" list. Not only did they resolve this in under 3 hours, but they have waived any fee for the item and post. A rare thing these days! Huge thanks.

Our Experience with Carron was first…

Our Experience with Carron was first class after initially meeting Barry one of the company directors at a trade show and chatting about the range over a coffee, we finally made the purchase through Period House Store. The radiators and towel rail have transformed our period cottage. The service from both Barry and PHS was outstanding, we couldn't be happier.

Poor Quality, poor resolution to their own faults, will leave you out of pocket. AVOID.

Purchased two expensive Carron cast iron radiators via Radiators 4U and a Cast Iron fire via Home Supply. The Cast Iron fire had missing parts (resolved by Home Supply) and now has a faulty manufactured part which needs resolving. The extremely heavy radiators I had to hire help to get them from kerbside, down a long gravel path and up three flights of stairs (105Kg each, 4 man job to lift each one). My plumber installed the first radiator and it is full of pinholes in two sections. It immediately started leaking water at high pressure from at least two of the pre-cast sections. I had to call the plumber back as an emergency to drain and isolate it before all my newly installed flooring was ruined. Carron acknowledge the item is faulty and will send a replacement KERBSIDE but take no responsibility for any of the additional costs I have to incur now to hire a lift and shift team to remove the radiator back down all the stairs and to kerbside, to procure a pallet, to lift and shift a replacement radiator back up the stairs and my plumbers cost to disconnect the faulty radiator and reinstall and reconnect the replacement. I have no confidence that this one will have been pressure tested correctly after manufacture either. AVOID THIS COMPANY - POOR QUALITY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE CUSTOMER ENDS UP GROSSLY OUT OF POCKET AND WITH MAJOR STRESS AND INCONVENIENCE. Would never purchase from this company again and will advise all others the same. I work in the Construction Industry and know what to expect. This is a company to boycott.

Very unhelpful and miserable person…

Very unhelpful and miserable person that I spoke with today. The person responsible for the product which I was interested in wouldn't even take my call despite my repeated polite requests. I only needed a quick conversation to determine if this company supply what I was looking for. Definitely not recommended, there are many other radiator companies out there, suggest to try one of those that want your business.
