Scam. Good god.

SCAM. Please don’t fall for this. Spent 2 days in auditioning process and got my hopes up just to find it was one huge scam. Everybody makes it to the final callback where they proceed to persuade you to pay for the bigger packages and make you pay on the spot. Gloria gave zero time to think about the money which was one of the many red flags. The guest star is a pre recorded video. They have you waiting for hours to hear fake results. They claim that your in the last 12 of a 10 day audition process, the reality is they do this every week I’ve even seen ads for next weeks round even though they were “closed” for the next 10 days. Do not give them any bank details or information! Don’t waste your time if you are passionate about acting/ modelling there is real professionals out there who will appreciate you for a lot less money!

Hello I am mother of Stephanie Martinez, she has always wanted to be an actress and we found Casting Call they are really great but it comes with money but besides that they got great teachers and everything. WE LOVE YOU CASTING CALL!!!

My daughter Nifemi Fisayo has always to act and stand out and through casting call she was able to show her skills and impress her directors.
With Casting Call she is able to receive feedbacks and fix them so through one mistakes makes many possibilities!

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT!!!
I actually went through the audition process, so I know almost everything about it. Let me give you guys some pre-information. I was in the last zoom audition group of the 10 days audition process. We had around 300 candidates in the last group. The boss lady Gloria said there are 1600 candidates throughout the 10 days audition that they have been doing, and they are going to choose 7-10 people out of 1600 candidates. After the explanation of the company and services, we got separated into 4 breakout rooms(around 70 people for each). One of the judges explained the audition process, which is sending an audition tape to him, and the zoom meeting finished. I send my audition tape to him and got a text back that night. It said “Congratulations! You’ve been chosen for one of the finalists! We will have a final audition zoom meeting tomorrow 8pm central time!” They sent the zoom meeting ID and the password 20min before 8pm the next day. In the final audition, we had 5 or 6 candidates. I was the first one so I performed my monologue. The judge liked me and said they would love to work with me. I got a client agreement to sign and he moved on to the next person. In short, he approved three people in a row including me. It’s just a group with 5 or 6 candidates out of 1600, and there are supposed be choosing 7-10 people out of 1600, and they already approved 3 out of 7-10 real finalists. There is no way that they are judging seriously. I do not want to be rude, but I will say this straight. The child who performed after me was far away from doing good enough to get chosen. In the client agreement, it literally says “CASTING CALL is not an employment agency, a talent counseling service, a talent listing service, nor a talent agency, and does not procure employment or guarantee that taking classes or otherwise utilizing the Services will guarantee employment in any field whatsoever.” And one of the parents was made make a payment during the meeting. I was asked if I’m doing right signing the agreement, and I told him I cannot decide it now because it’s not me who’s paying the money I have to ask my parents. He said we can talk about it later. And I left the meeting. I have not heard from him yet.

In conclusion, I would not say it is a total scam because they at least offer services, which are the acting and modeling classes. However, it’s once a week, 2 hour zoom online class, through 5 weeks. That means it is only 10 hours for almost $1000(it is the cheapest class they offer called COMPETITIVE 1, which is an acting class) So I would not say it is worth the money either. These are all I know about this company throughout my all audition process. Last thing, I only know things before the payment! I have no idea how the class experiences are. So it is your choice, but do not forget that they are not trying to find talents mainly. It is a business. Thank you for reading!

My son loved his experience with casting call. They gave him the confidence boost he needed to be able to showcase his talent. His teacher was awesome he made him feel comfortable and took interest in how his week was going and gave him awesome instruction on how to do better when auditioning.

Love the experience. Made me feel welcome and loved. Also loved my teacher.

Enjoyed my acting classes it was a great experience and look to further my education in entertainment

The classes were awesome! My 10-year-old daughter loved the classes and her classmates. Tricia was an awesome teacher. I hope to see her again in the future!

This lady called Gloria Morakinyo is a absolute scam. The "business" is called casting.bz. Which is a relatively new site according to another website and a rating of scam on a scale of 100 (best) to 1 (worst). The rating was a whopping 24 of 100!!! She claimed to be a talent scout. She said that the audtion will be a hour. It took 3 hours for the whole process. It was a scam from YouTube, it was ad. She was rude, talked for more than a hour then made every kid stand up for 2 hours. Then said they will cut you out of your opportunity if you or your parent leave the screen. She asked to download what's app to communicate. Instead of a call that was promised, it was a regular text from phone number. We also cross referenced the address and it was for a different casting company in Oak Brook, Illinois which was never mentioned during the session. Indicating that this address was used as a cover up. They asked for half upfront the next day. Which the plan we choose not them, like they said they would choose, would have been 7000 dollars. No chance to fundraise just wanted the money. She had been reported to the FTC and I advise any other parent to do the same as well. Fortunately we got a picture of her to send as evidence to the FTC. Once again, report her to the FTC. I also reported her directly to Disney. Thier report email can be found easily on Google. My daughter was crying for 30 minutes after we found out it was a scam. My daughter is emotionally scarred from this, her self esteem is shot as this saddened hee very much. Please do not put your children through this. Always do your research!!! Lesson learned on our end. Hopefully this review helps at least one other family protect thier child.

so I am child who has saw the advertisement and was so excided to be in a show and fly to LA with my family but I was so expensive and they want us to put a down payment of 6000 dollars before we even got anything then Gloria made me stand up for 2 hours she was rushing people and skipping people and then me and my family started looking up reviews and other peoples story's where like mine where Gloria has made other peoples kids stand up for even for time than mine dont trust this it is a scam.

I don’t even want to give this one star! Gloria was the most condescending rude human being I have ever experienced in my life. You have so many young young kids who probably like my own signed up and made me join this call! She needs to really be more aware of her facial expression and tone as well as manners with so many young kids on the call. If definitely is not a good example!! Outside of all this you think this is a one hour call. All of you please read this! I spent over 3 Hours on this call! Gloria literally spent more time just talking unnecessary information and repeating herself so many times. I can’t believe as a human she would or anyone would want to ethically do what she did on these calls! She made the kids stand for over 2 hours and no one could have a break in the 3+ hours of being on the call. This is literally a complete scam!!!!!! Do not waste your time please! I’ve never been so frustrated and kept telling my daughter I can’t sit here and I’m done! She signed up, she forced me to attend, and she had her hopes high and she was super persistent! I didn’t want to upset or crush her feelings even more! I don’t think I’ve ever been so annoyed or got to a point of hating someone online this much in one sitting. Gloria if your reading this I would really check yourself in the mirror and realize what your doing in these calls with little kids is extremely down to the core cruel!!! Not to mention lack of disrespect for parents time! Set expectations rather than torturing people, you will have to answer to this one day.

Don’t bother to audition, because everyone will get a callback. Expect your child to stand for 2 hours, while listening to sells pitch. No legit website or info that you can find about it or talent scouts. Disney “guest star actor “ haven’t been on any of the show’s mentioned.
It’s all about selling “acting classes or modeling “ that cost $$$$. I knew it was a scam after 10 min but didn’t want to break my 9 year heart who prepared to audition and memorized the lines.
You will get an email with a brochure and page 8 has acting classes programs to choose from. Like I’ve mentioned above everyone will get a call/text back, thats how they make money.
