Very nice and knowledgeable Team

A great experience with such a knowledgeable lady and lovely staff, I will
go all out and say the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time! I’d highly recommend the wine tasting experience!. €50 a head, we tasted amazing wine, ate a beautiful selection of food…and had some education on wine.
It’s a great way to spend an evening and lovely to see a place like this in limerick, so needed. Support!
Looking forward to the next one already.

Easy to order, delivery on time, received a courtesy call when one bottle was unavailable and a substitution was agreed easily.

The interview went okay, they asked me to come in for a trial. I was meant to work as a graphic designer and a barista. My graphic design role was to include running their social media accounts, improving their website and taking pictures for content. Before my trial, I got an email with a very long list of spaces and items to photograph in the shop. They have also asked me to review their website and social media to see what can be improved. I have prepared a presentation with ideas for content, a new navigation system for their website ect. I have put a lot of effort into the presentation to make a good impression. I have done that in my spare time which I was not paid for. I didn't mind not getting any money for the time I put into researching and preparing the presentation in hopes of getting the job. My two day trail went ok, the owner that interviewed me was meant to show up on my second day so that we could discuss my ideas, review images and take the next steps. Unfortunately, he never showed up. Instead, I had to speak and present to the manager Louise. She asked me to transfer all the images and the presentation, and that they would get in touch with me next week on Tuesday as she needed to speak to the owner and show him my work. On Tuesday I did not hear back from them. I have messaged the owner and the manager but they ghosted me, I also called them and no answer. I find this behaviour to be quite unprofessional as I have put in a lot of work for them. I do not mind if they didn't like my images or my ideas but I do think that it is unprofessional to not inform me and simply ghost my messages. It is very frustrating as I turned down a different job offer in hopes of working as a graphic designer for Cavavin. I did get paid for the two-day trial, but it seemed like they were only looking for a photographer to take pictures of their Christmas hampers. If that was their intention they should not have called it a trial. For the amount of work that I put in, I do at least expect a reply to my message.

Every time my partner and I visit the Limerick store we always leave raving about the staff! They're all so warm and bright and friendly and seem so genuinely interested in the products and helping you find something you like! They're very knowledgeable and when they don't know they know who to ask! Always such a delight.

Was served by Leah today and she was so incredibly helpful and had so much knowledge about the Irish brands we were looking into. It's made my Christmas shop so much easier as she was able to give me such great info about anything I looked into.

And it's not just Leah though, genuinely every time we're there the staff have been a delight! Keep it up ye're great!

I was well received in the store and given a great recommendation. I will highly recommend the store and the upstairs bar to anyone. I wish this store the best in business, great to have in Limerick.

The store assistants are always both knowledgeable and personable and of course the selection is excellent. Im always delighted with my purchase from here.

The store needs some warmth, not great for atmosphere especially a wine bar. Needs low ceilings, surroundings are painted black and wide open.

Wine is only OK, pricey.

Reserved 4 places on the wine night of29 September with some friends. It was a fantastic wine tasting event, all of us were impressed, the selection of wine was delicious along with plenty of cheese and bread and cured meats, we made the mistake of eating prior, I’d recommend not arriving with a full stomach 😊 the crémant that we started with is divine, I ended up purchasing! The wine selection in Cav à Vin is always really good, Louise and her staff haven’t put a foot wrong with their recommendations.
