So easy to order and having a local branch was a bonus for collection. Also it was nice to have a free coffee while waiting.

Ive brought a few power tools from CEF on line and never been disappointed, there a great price and next day delivery is just what im after. Will be using CEF again. As they delver a great service. Thank you

We went to CEF in Redditch for the first time today to purchase 2 lights and bulbs we got everything we required and Brendan was extremely helpful nothing was too much trouble did him

I ordered a 20 litre water heater urn. The package was delivered on time and date requested. Courier was pleasant and polite (signature was required). Package was posted within 2 separate cartons, so preventing damage.

The lads seem aware of what's good and bad about their service making them self correcting and efficient.

Purchased something online to be delivered to local store. Admittedly I changed my mind and asked them to cancel but oh my goodness what a game trying to get them to refund me. Still not got a refund and has been 3 weeks going.

The Assistant at our local Redditch branch of CEF was most helpful in our selection of the item, namely 50m of cable. Once ordered it arrived promptly the next day. It was well packaged. The cable is exactly what we wanted and performs perfectly. We most certainly will recommend the company to others.

Product arrived as scheduled 👌 not used it yet but looks the part.. I will say the though way too much packaging for a tiny mcb.

I ordered some sockets & light switches online & they arrived on the scheduled date; Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong finish. I went into the Redditch store to see if they could be exchanged. The salesman was extremely helpful and processed a return and reorder. Although he didn’t have the items in stock fortunately CEF purchased these items for a stockist in Redditch and I was able to go and collect the items the same day

This is a mixed review.
Firstly C.E.F online - I had a delivery from C.E.F on line delivered on Thursday 25th August. After a quick inspection all materials were present. It wasn’t until Saturday 27th August I realised that 2nd had parts had been delivered! The EV Charger I had ordered was scratched and scruffed and had components missing!!! Not good when you are on a time limit and being bank holiday weekend all branches were closed. This is not the first time that the online service has let me down. I am always reluctant to use the online service and even more so now.

Secondly- Redditch Branch.
Following the monumental balls up of the online central dispatch centre the branch manager of Redditch came to my rescue. I was (by a major miracle) able to get hold of him. Alex wasted no time in dropping his own plans (on his day off) to meet me at branch where he was able to exchange the damaged goods for a pristine new car charger. This is service going above and beyond for which I am eternally grateful. The redditch branch should be a shining beacon of what a wholesaler should be and can be.

Summary
Use your local branches for a first class service. Forget the online service as I won’t be using anything but the branch moving forward.
