Jamie has been excellent at improving Eilidh’s confidence when it comes to Maths. He is flexible, motivational and has great communication skills. He is knowledgeable and explains it clearly to Eilidh who now enjoys Maths.

Our daughter has Advanced Higher Chemistry Tutoring with Jamie and he is so patient and helpful and has a wealth of experience. Whenever our daughter is struggling and has a question, outwith the 1hr weekly tutoring session, we contact Jamie and he answers any of her queries and makes sure to pass on related resources. Been great help with Higher Maths for my son.

Two of my kids have used Central Tutors over the past few years, for the Chemistry revision groups (both nat 5 and Higher) and one of them did one to one tutoring in physics. Jamie and the other tutors are great! My kids found it really helpful and got As in the subjects. Really felt Jamie and the others fully explained the things that weren’t as well covered in class and set them up fantastically for the exams. So great to have a structure to revision and they can email question through the week and get great individual help where needed even in the groups. Really recommend!

Jamie has been fantastic! He has helped our son achieve what he needs to know and, more importantly, has given him the confidence to approach maths with a fresh attitude. His support and teaching style have made a real difference. Highly recommend!

My son has had a few sessions for Nat 5 Maths with Jamie at Central Tutors and has found these very helpful.

The sessions are informative and Jamie has been very patient and positive throughout these. They are able to ask questions at any time too. This is really helping my son become more confident in his Maths.

Highly recommend central tutors. We have used Jamie for two of our three children so far, to provide some help with maths. Our son failed his nat 5 prelim then we got Jamie on board and he got a high B. We moved earlier with our daughter who was struggling also in nat 5 tests etc last year, and she's just got a high B at prelim, so now aiming for one better in May, which would've been unthinkable a year ago. The one to one online lessons work really well and they both just really liked Jamie and could see the benefit. Also thinking of using them for a bit of chemistry help.
