From my initial contact through to my final post op consultation – I cannot emphasise how impressed I was with the professionalism, dedication, individualised patient care and holistic patient experience I received. I can clearly see why Mr Daya is a renowned world class surgeon and why people travel from all around the world for him to operate on them based on my own patient journey. Having my lens replaced has been life changing and I couldn’t be happier. I have already recommended Mr Daya and his outstanding team to many friends and family. The Clinic clearly has very high standards and this is reflected through his front of house staff, Rachel (very warm welcome and a fountain of all knowledge, going above and beyond to ensure you feel comfortable). The Centre is beautifully clean and kept immaculate, yet also a relaxing environment. The technical investigations are another level and far superior to the NHS in my experience. Rea took great care of me ensuring I understood all the machines, their purposes and explaining everything carefully – she has such incredible knowledge, but passion for her job and her patient care is absolutely brilliant – it will stay with me always. Mr Daya encourages and enjoys being asked questions and nothing was too much trouble – he really understands how nervous patients can be about their eyes and ensures you feel confident as well as reassured. The aftercare was superb and managed to perfection. I was back the following day to ensure that everything was well. I cannot rate all of your staff highly enough, however - I want to thank some special staff who really made a difference – obviously the man himself – Mr Daya, Rachel (Concierge) and Rea (Lead Technician), Pope and Sam (Pre/Post Op Nurses) and Lin (Admin dream). You can easily see why this Clinic has such great feedback – everything flows so professionally. Staff take pride in their work and are happy - which really says a lot and makes a difference to patients. The results are incredible and the best decision I’ve ever made, never having to wear glasses again and perfect vision! I am beyond happy and I could not have wished for a better Surgeon and his team to have made it happen! Thank you all so much. You deserve nothing but 5 stars.

Had the ICL surgery. i can't speak highly enough of the pre surgery checks, the consultation with Mr Daya who explained everything so clearly. The outcome of the surgery iteself was beyond my expectations. First class experience from start to finish.

Marcela Espinosa made the whole experience of visiting the Oxshott clinic far more relaxing than I initially feared since I suffer from "white coat syndrome" She is a very kind and understanding professional.
The whole operation team worked wonderfully well together. So pleased I did not wait for at least 18 months for the cataracts to be removed on NHS. I will be thoroughly recommending Centre for Sight to all my friends.

The whole process from initial visit for tests to check-up on next day following lens replacement was carried out efficiently and to perfection. It is two weeks on from surgery, and my vision is the best it has ever been.
I have the highest regard possible for every member of the team that I interacted with and it would seem unfair to single out anyone in particular - but the level of care from Theresa who did my tests was so exceptional that I have to heap tons of gratitude to her.

Having been recommend to Centre for Sight by my wife I can honestly say they have exceeded all expectations. Dr Daya, his wife and the team were absolutely brilliant. At almost 40 years old I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 5 years old. My eyes were complicated I had astigmatism / scarring following a severe eye infection several years ago. Following my lasik procedure I can now see perfectly and the team have genuinely changed my life. I’ve never been able to see as good as this without glasses. The team made the whole process seamless and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Staff are very professional and kind , ensuring all our fears and worries are considered. Managed to keep to dates planned. There was an issue with the laser during my op and we needed a pause to recalibrate the laser between eyes. Although asked to let my husband know why it was taking longer— he had had the surgery a year before and knew expected time frame— they didn’t inform him of the issues.
Also considered the Isle of Man (IOM) as international this made our operation more expensive— my husband had not been international the previous year. We have two addresses one in UK and One on the IOM— shame we weren’t allowed to use the UK address. Sadly this does affect my recommendations to friends on the Isle of Man.
I am soo delighted with the outcome of my operation as I have never had such good eyesight in all of my 61years. I would highly recommend Mr Daya and his team .

My brother-in-law had excellent service all round, from initial consultation at Oxshott, through surgery at East Grinstead and post consultation at Oxshott. Extremely professional and friendly staff who have kept us informed through the whole process. No pain whatsoever during or after cataract surgery. Brother-in-law now considering getting his other eye done. Can not recommend highly enough.

Centre for Sight have the best possible facilities, staff and surgeons. The surgery itself was a very relaxed experience (only local anaesthetic) and the improvement to my sight was spectacular. Worth the extra.

Following an extremely concerning diagnosis by an Optician, I was seen as quickly as possible by Mr Daya who was able to reassure me that the diagnosis was fortunately incorrect. In the meantime the Admin staff had been so kind and caring -Rachel on Reception did all she could to help me seeing my distress and Nikki booking my appointment couldn’t have been more helpful. You feel you are in safe hands.

The atmosphere is very calm, so one is instantly at ease. All staff are friendly, helpful and clearly very competent.

I recently had lens replacement surgery bilaterally (both eyes were operated on at the same time) by world renowned eye surgeon @sherazdaya at @centreforsightuk in Oxshott. I'd like to thank Mr Daya and his whole team for the most professional care. At my check up on Tuesday I was told that I now have 20:20 vision and I am so grateful to everyone involved. If you are considering any kind of eye surgery I would highly recommend My Daya and his team.

I waited 2 months from having LASIK at East Grinstead clinic to write a review and can happily say surgery was successful giving me the results I hoped and more as I have 20/20 vision.

I am a very nervous person and having worn contact lenses many years and refusing the opticians to touch my eyes. It was a very hard thing to have the eye checks completed, let alone face the biggest fear of having surgery. You do not have to worry at CFS the technicians completing tests are very thorough and inform you at every stage. Andorra was lovely and made me feel at ease and all the other technicians I saw. Also numbing drops are amazing, you cannot feel a thing!
I may have had a slightly different experience from most. I have had several trips into CFS. Thank you to Dr Daya and his team, they found an infection that I may have had a very long time and not cleared as when going to the NHS it doesn't get properly checked and dismissed as conjunctivitis. CFS helped me treat the infection before surgery could take place.
Having been in a few times I will say please allow extra time to what you have been told your appointment is. I am sure most people have been in situations where at a hospital you are kept waiting so yes you may experience it. Unavoidable delays happen and you have to remember you are seeing a busy surgeon (based in a few locations) who I would rather wait for. I only put my trust in Dr Daya and felt comforted he sees you all the way through up to surgery and even after care. I've had a check up with Marcela Espinosa-Lagana and she too was very informative and took time to explain things. Having researched for the best I was prepared to wait. (Take laptop they have internet) however Dr Daya was a little rushed at times so please be ready with any questions. I feel looking back I should have had a list and noted things, all is explained but if you don't remember things easily best take notes.

Overall I recommend CFS, a friendly place who look after their clients, clean and comfortable. Surgery staff were kind and considerate and I was very pleased to hear Andorra's voice on surgery day (as I had no glasses on pre surgery) in the surgery room. She made me feel at ease and gave me stress balls to squeeze! It's over very fast, again numbing drops are amazing. I can't say my recovery was a breeze I had very sore eyes for a few weeks, possibly from a bleeding cornea complication and high eye pressure. I am just glad Dr Daya and CFS are overseeing it.

I will always remember opening my eyes seconds after the surgery and being able to see and walk out, the feeling is amazing and waking up each day being able to see straight away. I was -6.5 pre surgery.

Thank you Dr Daya and all at Centre For Sight. I hope you are able to help many more people with their eye problems. I have been recommending you to friends and a few will be in contact to arrange checks.

Had trifocal lense replacement last summer and was life changing. Amazed by results and amazing service from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend enough.

From my initial consultation to the day of surgery and the follow up my experience has been excellent.
Everything was explained, my questions answered, and I was reassured throughout the process.
It is still early days, but my sight has improved to 20/20.

I am a consultant eye surgeon myself and have been performing cataract surgery all my working life. When it came to choosing a surgeon to do my own cataracts I had no hesitation choosing Sheraz Daya, medical director of Centre for Sight. He is a globally renowned innovator in cataract and refractive surgery. I had the surgery to both my eyes on the same session and have elected for multifocal lens implants. My journey through the center was exemplary, a truly well oiled machine as expected. The staff were all very efficient and courteous; their actions were purposeful and confident with no hesitation or doubt. Every step of the way there was accompanying explanation and although I did not need any of the explanations, it was very pleasing and reassuring to know that staff themselves have a good understanding of the purpose of their action and how all that contributes to a successful outcome as well as a happy patient experience. The surgery itself was brief in time and I felt no discomfort whatsoever apart from the odd pressure sensation.
It is now almost 4 weeks after surgery. My vision is excellent all round. I can see distance, intermediate and near without glasses. I would say I am now finally independent of spectacles, something I relied on all my life having been short sighted. As expected with trifocals lenses, I can see minimal haloes around lights at night which are not at all significant, at least to me. A very fair trade off for being able to read without glasses.
To sum up…a highly capable and skilled surgeon, the best in my opinion, coupled with the best technologically advanced equipment, amazing staff and venue, made for an unparalleled experience that had far exceeded my best expectations.

I have worn glasses with a +6 prescription for 70 years after my sight was badly affected by measles. I could not even read large print without glasses and driving would have been impossible. After being diagnosed with the start of cataracts earlier in the year I decided to consult Mr Daya at Centre for Sight who had been recommended to me. The initial consultation which lasted 2 1/2 hours was impressively thorough. After completing all the tests I saw Mr Daya who advised me I could have the procedure and it went ahead on 01-11-23. The operation was completely painless, in fact I fell asleep ! To describe the overall result, the best thing I can say is ......... WOW ! I am now glasses free with 20/20 vision, absolutely amazing.

The result of my eye surgery has been excellent - definitely 5 stars - no pain or complications and 20/20 near/mid and distance vision.
Admin not quite so good - hence the 4 stars overall.
Appointment times often not kept and ran late. Staff were very friendly and willing to please but they did not always manage to convey what was happening very well or consistently.
