I had both eyes implanted with multifocal lenses. now I have 20/20 vision. Without glasses. The staff and surgeons are very reassuring, and do not hurry if they have a measurement that looks wrong they will test test and test again to ensure everything is perfect. They will not operate unless the eye is in good health for a perfect outcome.

I had lens replacement just under 3 months ago, the procedure was quick painless and very well organised.
I however had trouble with my eye pressure it was extremely high,which is not at all good. I had to make numerous visits back to CFS for them to monitor this and it resulted after 3 weeks of me being a "responder" to the steriod eye drops. So i have been told i have 20/20 vision although i am really struggling with being very sensitive to the light which i have been told by CFS that my brain will eventually get used to this and therefore my sight will be better. i have found it difficult to make them realise how much this has impacted my life, i find it difficult to drive in the mornings as my eyes just are so sensitive i struggle to keep them open! I can see very small print well but the light sensitivity is unfortunately taking over at the moment, i just hope this improves!

I have had very poor eyesight for 25 years and Dr Daya worked his magic and gave me sight through ICL surgery. His team were there for me from the start as i started off the tests at the London centre, surgery day was at East Grinstead and my follow up check at Oxshott - all teams in all the places were fabulous, professional and made you feel comfortable. The best decision ever! My eye treatment at Centre for Sight has changed my life and enhanced my confidence. Having trifocal lenses implanted by Mr Sheraz Daya has restored my eyesight and I no longer need to use any lenses for reading, driving or any other activities.
From my first encounter with Mr Daya and his team at Centre for Sight, I felt most reassured that I was getting a very professional opinion and treatment. The day of the procedure was made much easier by the comforting support provided to me by Dr Espinosa whilst Mr Daya was performing my eye surgery. Overall, a fantastic experience and a great result.

I am a very nervous person when it comes to my eyes so when mr daya told me I needed a second transplant in my right eye I was devastated but as always mr daya reassured me it would all be ok
I was so nervous for my second operation that the centre for sight team arranged for another patient who had recently had a second transplant to contact myself to reassure me
Whenever I have any issues I call the centre and they arrange for me to be seen straight away for example
the oxshot centre was closed for the Xmas holidays and after contacting the team mr daya himself opened up just to see myself and treat me
to me and my family this is priceless the level of compasión and care we feel is second to none and the centre for sight we feel is truly a world leading clinic both in care and technology
I feel it’s a very personal service that’s provided and it’s not like a normal clinic at all
yes you have set backs but the level of treatment that I receive during these periods is exceptional

Amazing - Life changing. My opticians recommended centre for sight. I read the many reviews but was particularly looking for anyone who had had Lenses replacement with such a high prescription as mine -15. There were very few, so I wasn’t expecting miracles. My consultant David Shahnazaryan explained that due my extreme short sightedness a monofocal lenses would be most suitable and would reduce my prescription significantly but would need glasses for near/mid vision. The procedure was very quick and straightforward and the results were unbelievable- only needing glasses of +1.5 for reading. Having worn contact lenses/bottle top glasses for over 40 years, it feels unreal!
I can honestly say I did not experience any discomfort or pain throughout.

From consultation to post surgery check up was very smooth. The staff were very professional, friendly and caring.

Prior to surgery, I had a prescription of -10D and astigmatism 3.5D in both eyes. I became intolerant of soft Toric contact lenses when I developed blepharitis four years ago. I researched treatments for over seven months. A friend who is an NHS consultant ophthalmologist recommended I be treated privately at the Centre for Sight due to my level of astigmatism. The NHS could not obtain Toric intraocular lenses, so I would still require glasses after surgery to fully correct my vision.
Post-surgery I now have pin sharp visual acuity of 6/5 in my dominant left eye and 6/6 on the right (a little down due to an annoying floater I've had for many years.) The Trifocal lenses have given my almost total freedom from reading glasses which I only need now in a dimly lit restaurant.
To say I am happy is an understatement. I've never had vision this good, not even in my twenties, 40 years ago. I might even change my career to be that fighter pilot I've always wanted to be!

All the staff are professional, polite and efficient. I had congenital cataracts removed at the age of 12. However, I could not have the implants inserted as I was still a child and still growing.

Having worn contact lenses for 40 years, I finally took the plunge to look into having implants.

I contacted Centre for Sight via their website and received a reply the same day, advising Mr Daya could do the operation. I was over the moon.

My first appointment was in August with surgery undertaken on my left eye 3 days later. My right eye had the surgery in October.

This surgery has completely changed my life. I live on the Isle of Man where water sports in the sea are very popular. I have always wanted to try kayaking and paddleboarding but due to wearing contact lenses, I have never been able to take part.

Following my surgery, I can now take part in these with my 12 year old daughter.

In addition, waking up in a morning and being able to see as soon as I open my eyes is fantastic. I can also see where the soap has gone when I drop it in the shower!! Little things that people take for granted which I have never been able to do until now.

Mr Daya and his full team are absolutely wonderful.

Centre for Sight demonstrates a very professional, caring and meticulous approach to sight related healthcare. The team is headed by Mr Daya and Ms Espinosa, both highly experienced ophthalmology consultants who work to the highest of standards in patient care. This attention to detail inspires confidence in patients and their team operates like a well oiled machine. All staff know exactly what is expected of them in their role. Not once was there a let up. I would recommend Centre for Sight without hesitation to anyone concerned about their eye health.

I was referred by my local optician for YAG laser treatment. I was given an appointment quite quickly and paid my deposit on the phone. My appointment was long ( over three hours) but everything was tested very thoroughly. The waiting area is comfortable and quiet. My treatment was explained very clearly and carried out in a totally professional and reassuring way. I was very happy with that.
However, I have deducted one star for the admin, which was rather hit and miss. When I paid, after my treatment, I told the receptionist that my deposit should be deducted from the total, but she said that was not the case, I had to pay the total sum. A few days later I was told I would be refunded the deposit after all. The impression is that the admin staff are not familiar with the systems and it depends who you deal with as to the efficiency of your billing.
All the staff were friendly and courteous and I would ( and have) recommended Centre for Sight.

I can’t praise CFS in East Grinstead enough! From the Reception area, more luxury hotel than hospital waiting room, to the very welcome coffee and sandwich on ‘the other side’, the whole experience and outcome has been amazing.
Having had no experience of ‘going private’ and being an extremely nervous patient, Ms Espinosa (highly recommended by my optician), put me at ease immediately with her genuinely caring and gentle manner. I have a 30 year history of dry eyes and developed posterior subcapsular cataracts about 5 years ago. My NHS doctors, ( a different one every time) struggled to get to grips with my problems and I felt that the private route was the best way forward.
Ms Espinosa had the answers! She recommended a course of IPL treatments at the CFS’s Oxshott office which was successful and has resulted in reducing my use of eye drops from around 20 times a day to 4 or 5!
Having stabilised my eyes, I was ready for the op! The cataract surgery itself was painless, thanks to Dr Lam and recovery has been amazing with 20:20 vision the next day.
The aftercare has been fantastic too with regular phone calls to check on my progress.
I wouldn’t trust my eye care to anyone else!
