We are not a "rubber stamp" and are committed to only recommending Emotional Support Animals where there is an actual need. We believe some solutions are better and more simple than mind-altering pharmaceuticals. We believe pets are family.

I love Certa Pet and have been using


I love Certa Pet and have been using them for the last 4years. They now text before your application expires which is a huge for me because I don’t always check my email. Thanks Certa Pet!

I have used this service for the last three years and Ebony Walker has been very good and I really appreciate it sometimes this can be a very difficult thing so I’m glad that she always helps me out!

Glad I made the call

5 stars!

Erin Mooney was my LICSW, for my original submission as well as my renewal / “promotion”. My dog was originally approved as an ESA, Erin took the time to explain the differences between an ESA and a PSA. Originally, we agreed my dog needed to work on a few things before he would be considered a PSA. We worked for a year on training and he is now a PSA. It was great to have continuity of care with Erin.
She also took time to discuss rules and regulations that apply to service animals. 🐕‍🊺

Disappointing, Overpriced, and Not Trustworthy

CertaPet.com was a major disappointment and did not deliver the professional, reliable ESA letter it promises. The document I received felt generic and rushed, lacking personalization and the clarity you would expect from a legitimate service. Instead of feeling confident using it, I was left questioning whether it would actually be accepted if reviewed closely.

Customer support was equally frustrating. Once payment was made, responses became slow and vague, offering little real help or reassurance. For the high price they charge, the lack of transparency and follow-up made the entire experience feel like a waste of money. I would not recommend CertaPet.com to anyone looking for a trustworthy ESA letter service.

We want to reassure you that every ESA letter issued through CertaPet is 100% legitimate, written by a licensed mental health professional, and includes all information required under current ESA guidelines. While the format of ESA letters is standardized to ensure legal compliance and acceptance, each letter is issued only after a proper clinical evaluation and is tailored to the individual’s qualifying needs.

We’re also sorry if our support communication felt lacking—this is not the level of care we aim to provide, especially given how important these documents are to our clients.
