Our 16 year old daughter Millie did the self-confidence six week coaching programme with Annette - she was struggling with her confidence and feeling very anxious because of her GCSE exams that resulted in her being sick a lot on the run up to her exams and not sleeping very well. The sessions with Annette have really helped Millie to put different techniques into practice to overcome her anxiety and to help to increase her self-confidence.

We chose Annette as she had so much experience working with children and teenagers who had similar issues to the ones ours was suffering and we were not disappointed!
Annette took the time to get to know us and our teenager, with a fact find sheet we listed all the areas of concern we had and she went about developing a programme to help coach them through and build a 'toolkit' to be able to deal with issues now and that would arise in the future.
What we have now is a very confident and much more levelled teenager who has very little of the issues they previously had.

Annette has helped my son become more confident and more assertive his conversational skills were very limited and now can't shut him up. He struggled at work to interact and serve people now he is serving everyone and running the front of house. He also struggled with self belief which has improved a lot he has more work to do but we will keep working with the tools Annette has given I would recommend Annette if your child or teen is struggling I only wish I had done this sooner thanks Annette.

My 14yr old son was struggling with his emotions, lack of confidence and self belief.
He had a six week 1-2 sessions with Annette.
I can honestly say we’ve have seen such a positive improvement.
I can’t recommend Annette highly enough.

Our 14 year old daughter was lacking in confidence and after trying to help her in various ways, we got stuck.
Whilst googling for advice, we came across CHAMPS and it was the best decision we made to contact them.
From the start, Annette was open and honest and had a real ability to put my daughter at ease. She really listened to her needs and what she hoped to achieve at the end and planned the sessions accordingly.
After the initial virtual meet, my daughter was keen to get started. Six sessions later and she started year 10 with a new and confident attitude and is doing great. (We also learnt quite a few things ourselves!) There will obviously be bumps in the road and obstacles to overcome but the core techniques and mindset have been planted so that she can use them in the future. Annette has the ability to give advice and suggestions that she took on board and that worked for her so we can't thank her enough.

Our 9 year old son was struggling with anxiety and lack of confidence which manifested itself in different ways. Annette was able to teach him some simple techniques for managing his emotions. These techniques were also useful for his mum and I to know - I've ended up using some of them myself! Overall we've noticed a positive change in our son's outlook, and I feel this experience will stand him in good stead going forwards as life inevitably throws challenges his way!

I cannot sing the praises of Annette enough. I have watched with great relief the transformation of my 17 year old son from uncertain, shy and socially awkward to a confident and happy young man.
This is a difficult time for any 17-year old: having to deal with A-Levels; making decisions about their career and future; trying to find work; trying to find a balance between study, relaxation and responsibility. The list goes on... Annette has given my son the tools to help him navigate through these challenges - both now and in the future.
What I found particularly helpful was that after each session with my son, Annette emailed me with a printable summary of what they covered and some strategies to help him implement what he had learnt.
I highly recommend this course to any parent who wants to empower their child to become a bit more independant and a lot more confident.

My daughters 1-2-1 social confidence sessions have exceeded expectations. She is trying new things and now has the tools and emotional control to deal with new situations and cope with setbacks. Her social confidence has soared and she seizes every opportunity and is starting to understand her potential.

Annette was of so much help to my teenage boy, he has since become more confident with words and more sociable.

My 13 year old daughter worked with Annette for 6 sessions on building her social confidence. She had struggled with friendship issues since starting secondary school and these were made more difficult with lockdowns. My daughter enjoyed working with Annette and was enthusiastic about the coaching each week. Although she's still creating her friendship group, she has learned to recognise unhealthy friendships and is becoming more assertive and confident in developing new friends. I have seen a great change in the way she approaches conflicts between friends and in her more positive outlook. Overall, a happier teenager, so highly recommended.

I have had two 'Wisdom Wednesday' sessions with Annette and I can not recommended them highly enough. On each session Annette shared her knowledge and provided us with tools to help children make sense of the world that they live in. I’ve done a couple of zoom calls with Annette and I’ve been very impressed with her knowledge, compassion and delivery in what she is saying. I have been able to apply some of her advise already & would happily recommend her to other.
