This website came about after a google search , hadn’t heard of them before but needed some new cutlery and they had very good discounts so took a leap of faith and ordered the cutlery. My order arrived the next day via DPD which is always good as it gives you a time slot. Couldn’t fault it, quality excellent.

The cutlery was as per the picture, very pleased with the quality and called to make an enquiry and they were most helpful. The cutlery arrived next day also. I would highly recommend using this company. Service as you would hope for and quality of goods you would happily pay for.

The cutlery I received was beautiful and everything I expected. Customer service was very good. I only wish there was a gift box or boxes for the 88 piece cutlery set I bought.

Excellent service. Very fast

Saturday: bought a boxed set of 10 x table knife, fork, spoon, teaspoon in Heals at half price in the sale. Went onto the website to order additional items - side knives and forks, soup spoons. Found there are two styles of soup spoon available. Only one photo of each on the website so hard to assess the difference Signed up for the newsletter in case any offers were available.
Ordered 10 side knives and forks and 4 each of the two types of soup spoon with a view to completing the set when I knew what I wanted.
Sunday: got an email offering me 10% off anything on the website. Sent an email asking if the 10% could be retrospectively applied to my order.
Monday: got a reply telling me that the 10% didn't apply because the cutlery was already reduced - fair enough but could have been clearer in the first place
Thursday: took receipt of parcel. Only lot of soup spoons in order, packing note had a handwritten line through one of the sets of spoons but the invoice showed both.
Sent an email saying that the items were missing and asking for a refund for them (and I've abandoned any thought of making up the full set that I wanted).
6 working days later, no response, no refund.
Dismal.

UPDATE - I have now received an email Charingworth and it's clear that some emails have gone adrift in the process. Thanks for getting in touch and sorting things out.

Super choice in design and items, Delighted

We love this cutlery and were glad to be able to add soup spoon, small knives and forks as well as pastry forks, to the knives, forks and spoons we bought at Christmas. It is beautifully weighted and looks great on the table, it is a bit wacky but I think its great.

Very speedy receipt of order, beautifully packed. Cutlery/flatware excellent quality, particularly at the sale price. Hadn't realised until order placed that Charingworth is a Welch family concern, which would account for the quality and design.

We had had a good look at a variety of cutlery styles and finishes when we came upon Charingworth’s Fiddle satin finish pieces. At last we had found what we wanted. Beautifully made, with a style that is somehow modern and old at the same time. We ordered a complete set. They have added to our culinary experience and we would recommend them to anybody. A delight to hold and use.
