Great tutor and explains everything in depth and makes it easy to understand.

I am French and I travelled to Charlie's house to learn English during one week. It was a great experience with the perfect teacher for me (funny, happy,but serious when we need). Charlie and his wife Ana were perfect with us (from the nights to the activities ). It was a great experience to see them and I think I will remember them during a long time ;)

It was very cool because Charlie and Ana were so kind and funny. I loved to speak with them during the day.
The activities we made were so cool, and I was always fine to make the activities.
The class was perfect because it's varied and we learn a lot without to be boring, so I love this type of class>

When I first started, I was really really bad at maths and I was getting like 60-70% on tests but ever since I started being tutored it’s gone up to 90% ! So I definitely recommend and also the lessons aren’t boring they’re actually fun which is crazy because maths is usually not fun at all

Charlie is an extraordinary and amazing tutor, every lesson is carefully planned and structured and he takes the time to go into the detail of every topic to make sure you fully understand it.

My time with him has been more valuable and useful than my teachers at school and I don't think I would have been able to have to go from the worst in my maths class to one of the top students without him.

In summary Charlie is an incredible maths teacher and a great guy I would very highly recommend him.

I’ve worked with Charlie through GCSEs and now onto Alevels, he always thoroughly prepares lessons and externals learning tasks and takes on my suggestions on board by asking me areas i struggle in. He is a kind, welcoming and understanding tutor who always pushes me and tests my knowledge. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Charlie and will continue to!

If there were 6 stars I would choose that. My daughter has been working with Charlie for probably three years or so. He always prepares his lessons thoroughly, always set homework, always provides a lesson recap. I also think he does more than the allotted hour. My daughter changed her subjects for A-level and we airlifted Charlie back in even though they aren't the subjects he normally covers because their relationship is so good. He's learnt the new subjects in his own time in order to teach her. The man's a genius. You'd be crazy to look else where. Charlie genuinely cares, has huge experience of working with children and is a great relationship builder.

I really enjoy my lessons with Charlie. He helps me clearly understand my learning by visually explaining it to me. He also actively encourages me to do little mini experiments around my house to help consolidate the learning I have done in my lesson. He also clearly lays out what we will be doing in lessons, while additionally sending me extra things to help me with my exams. He has given me me lots of confidence for my most recent mocks! I would highly recommend Charlie to anyone who asks, he is an amazing tutor.

Charlie was responsive when we contacted him and designed great sessions for KS3 maths for our son. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Although very much in demand, he is very flexible and easy to engage with.

Charlie helped my son through his final months before and through his Maths and Physics GCSEs providing both teaching and revisions sessions to supplement what he'd learned (and not learned) at school.
He has a relaxed but firm style, and engaged my son in their sessions in a way that his teachers at school hadn't succeeded in doing. His long experience in the sector gives him an excellent understanding of the requirements of the subjects he covers.

A Fantastic Tutor Who Made a Real Difference
