With over thirty years of experience teaching across three continents and every type of educational setting, I offer one-to-one tuition in KS3, GCSE, and A Level Mathematics and Physics that is both rigorous and deeply personalised. My students are not “typical” — nor are my methods. Every learner brings their own history, confidence level, and way of thinking. My role is to meet them where they are, then guide them to where they never thought they could go. While the majority of my sessions are delivered online for accessibility and flexibility, I also offer in-person tuition for those seeking a face-to-face learning experience. Every lesson is tailored in real time, based on a close reading of how each student responds to challenges, processes mistakes, and grows through understanding. I celebrate missteps as stepping stones — opportunities to correct misconceptions, deepen understanding, and build intellectual resilience. What sets my tuition apart isn’t just my qualifications — which include a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Statistics, a PGCE, an MA in Learning and Teaching, and a CELTA — but the way I support and believe in each student. I offer a dedicated WhatsApp group (with a parent as administrator) to share session notes and provide ongoing support between lessons. This helps ensure that learning continues beyond the hour and that parents remain involved and informed. Students who engage fully with the process often surpass their predicted grades — sometimes by two levels or more — but more importantly, they gain confidence, clarity, and a new sense of what they’re capable of.
