We are very pleased with the service we get from Checks Direct, they are always extremely responsive and helpful whenever we need any support or have queries. As an organisation new to carrying our DBS checks on our volunteers, their knowledge and support has been invaluable.
We find the website interface really intuitive, user friendly and efficient.

Exceptional service

Checks direct are just so professional and helpful. I’ve been using them for over 5 years and every time I’ve needed help with an application or something smoothed out they have just magically made it happen. Claire is my accountant manager and an absolute delight to talk to as well as having a truly extensive knowledge of DBSs. Can not recommend them highly enough.

In the past I have used the Gov Portals and other services to get my Volunteers the Enhanced DBS checks and have found them difficult to navigate, frustrating and my patience wearing thin.
Checks Direct is like a breath of fresh air. Very easy to navigate for someone like me who is neuro diverse.
The only negative point is that it takes time for the actual certificate to come through. That said its great to see the different stages ypour application is at and that it lets you know if anything has been highlighted.

Moving forward we will be recommending and using Checks Direct agian.

We had been using a different DBS clearance service provider, but found their process to be burdensome and their customer support lacking, so I made a tentative telephone call to Checks Direct and spoke with Sandra, who was immediately allocated as our account manager. Sandra spoke me through the process, answered my questions clearly and gave me her contact details in case we had any difficulty using their system. We found their website, clear and easy to use and the process was quick and efficient. Their prices are very competitive and based on our experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Checks Direct.

Absolutely fabulous brilliant onbaording process, really helpful, despite having contacted 3 companies prior and no success. The guys went above and beyond for me. And I'll be forever grateful and would 100% recommend!

I had limited knowledge of applying for our own DBS checks, and made sure I did a good amount of research before choosing Checks Direct... the reviews were excellent, especially regarding customer service, so I decided to use this company for the DBS checks for our CIC volunteers.
Lucy Sims rang me within a day of my registration and her support throughout the whole process has been incredible... within a couple of weeks, most of our checks have come through and Lucy just helped to make the whole process easy and straightforward... :]

They do not give clear understanding on the process of applying for DBS and sort of hide the information that you only have very limited time for subscription (!??) to update it for less, yeah, you need a special subscription to update what they have already checked. Otherwise you pay full price again and its on you! Theough you may only have part-time job and its a lot of money. Their site is beyond confusing, the support is a closed loop where noone is able to give you clear understandabl answer. Unfair, greedy, messy services

I have spoken to Karyn and Claire and couple of times and they are SO SO helpful and friendly. It is so refreshing so speak to people who clearly really care about the customer experience and always go that extra mile. Thanks so much for all your ongoing help.

They were great at taking me through the process over the phone step by step and then I was able to follow the process smoothly online. The dashboard was really straight forward and showed me where I was up to with each DBS check.

Easy to use website and personal touch for advice and queries and the cost was reasonable. DBS was processed quickly, available on line and arrived in the post within a reasonable timescale.

A refreshing change to speak to the same person dealing with our account, without being left on hold for 30 minutes. Claire knew the answers to all of my queries when setting up a new account with her company without transferring me to different departments. Her manner was extremely polite and friendly, I would highly recommend working with this company.
