Beyond bad
This company is the epitome of impersonal. There is no way to communicate with a human. They have gone for mass scale which is inversely related to quality of service. Having booked snow boarding lessons 5 months in advance of the holiday, then cancel a week prior and offered 3 private hours in place of 6 days of 3hr sessions. What a disgrace. Ruined by family holiday. Infuriatingly, because their is no human interaction you are left dealing with a robot chat service which of course is less effective than a chocolate fire guard. 1 star rating is too generous. I am now a vociferous activist against CheckYeti and strong advise everyone to steer well clear of this 'stack em high' sell em cheap' service.

Alles hat reibungslos geklappt, gepasst und wir konnten einfach auf die Piste. Der Skikurs war super, hatten 2Tage gebucht und fühlten uns danach gerüstet zum weitermachen.

My previous review was taken down on request of checkyeti. Therefore I am re-posting a review with ONLY FACTS. You can interpret it yourself.
FACT 1:
We had booked a ski school for our kids that was going to start on Monday
On Sunday evening (18:00), we get a whatsapp from the school:
"Unfortunately, we have some bad news. The ski instructor who was supposed to lead your course has injured himself and will be unavailable for the next few days. We therefore have to cancel the ski courses completely and sincerely hope you will find a place with one of our colleagues. ... Ski School Kahler Asten"
FACT 2:
I submitted a review on chekyeti about this school describing the situation above.
FACT 3:
After some weeks I tried finding my review, it was not on the checkyeti website. I emailed them and got following reply:
"Based on our review content and moderation policy, your review for the booking E***** has been rejected because the activity did not take place and the feedback focuses primarily on a topic beyond the ski school's control."
FACT 4:
I was never proactively informed that my review was rejected.
FACT 5:
I posted a review on trustpilot about checkyeti, raising questions about how representative the reviews may be.
FACT 6:
The same day, I got an email from Trustpilot saying:
"checkyeti.com has flagged your review for containing defamatory content."
In this review, I will refrain from indicating how all this makes me feel, even though that's how most reviews on this platform work. I am sharing these facts for transparency and I hope this review remains visible so readers can form their own view.

We’re genuinely sorry that your lesson had to be cancelled due to force majeure circumstances. As mentioned previously, situations such as sudden illness are unfortunately beyond anyone’s control, and we would have appreciated a bit more understanding on this point.
We completely understand that this was disappointing. However, due to the instructor’s sudden illness and the school being fully booked, it was not possible to provide an alternative on such short notice. A full refund was, of course, issued.
Regarding your previous Trustpilot review, it was removed because it did not comply with Trustpilot’s guidelines. Trustpilot, as an independent review platform, manages the content and moderation of all reviews on its site. While we can request them to review specific cases, the final decision about whether a review is removed, edited, or remains live is made solely by Trustpilot. Users are encouraged to edit reviews to comply with their policies, and Trustpilot provides guidance on how to do this, which is why your updated review was accepted.
For transparency, our own review guidelines are clearly outlined on our website. We publish all feedback, positive or negative, provided it relates to an actual experience and follows those guidelines. This is also reflected when checking any offer, where the average rating and reviews show which experiences have actually taken place. As the lesson did not take place, there was, unfortunately, no activity to review.
We value fair and accurate feedback, particularly when it reflects the situation objectively rather than frustration with circumstances outside anyone’s control, and we regret any inconvenience this situation may have caused.

Nadat we dit hadden besproken, kregen we een nieuwe instructeur: Rudi.
Rudi gaf erg fijne en duidelijke uitleg. Hij legde goed uit waarom bepaalde oefeningen nodig waren en gaf daarnaast gerichte en persoonlijke feedback. Dat maakte de lessen erg leerzaam en prettig.
Super! Een groot compliment voor Rudi.

Bien pour cours adulte mais pas enfant
Checkyeti est bien pour réserver pour les adultes mais pour les enfants il vaut mieux appeler directement l’ESI car ça a été compliqué pour le choix des horaires sur plusieurs jours.

I booked a private ski lesson of 2 hours just to refresh and start the week
I booked a private ski lesson of 2 hours for beginner/light experienced skiër. The teacher was Italian, but spoke English very well. He gave a good lesson. For me a good start for the skiing week. It helpt to just refresh my memory/skills. Great teacher, very helpful and easy talking to.
