Happy to recommend this company for their workmanship and attitude. They installed a new ch system successfully, taking pains to achieve a neat result even when unexpected difficulties arose. pleasant people, punctual, and tidied up thoroughly afterwards.

Used the plumbing service. Really helpful and efficient and lovely people too.

We had a number of plumbing jobs to be done. A quotation was provided promptly, and was emended without quibble when we re-thought some of our requirements. The work was all done on the same day. The staff were a pleasure to deal with.

I have dealt with alot of plumbing companies this one tops them all. Very professional staff great customer service knowledgeable. I can't recommend this company enough. Great overall experience

We would highly recommend Chelmsford Plumbing & Heating. They have serviced our old boiler for many years. During January when it was freezing cold our boiler packed up. We called CP&H and Martyn came to see us and provided a quote for a new boiler and necessary pipework. We had to wait a week before work commenced but Martyn kindly loaned us two heaters. Our new boiler was fitted by Lewis, the engineer, who was efficient, informative, tidy and very helpful. Thank you Martyn, Lewis and Lewis number 2 for an amazing job. 5 STAR.

Amazing service… brilliant engineer.. very helpful, polite and professional guy.

We recently had to replace our Oil Fired central heating boiler in what turned out to be the coldest 2 days this January, CPH staff Reece and Partner were terrific and carried out the new installation without a hitch other than their pump freezing up whilst trying to pump out the central heating system! They kept us well informed on the progress of the job and by the 19th January we were warm again. Well Done Chelmsford Plumbing and Heating

This plumbing company is highly recommended from start to finish. Easy to phone up and communicate with someone friendly who dealt with the problem swiftly. A plumber visit followed promptly with someone who clearly knew what they were doing. Efficient arrangements thereafter for accepting a quote and getting a prompt visit at a mutually convenient time. Work done efficiently and everything left clean and in place.

Our wet underfloor heating system was not warming up as it should. We called CPH, and the call-out fee was £120. The plumber was very friendly and helpful. I was told that the pump and valve would need replacing, and it should take 1 hr to finish the job, with a cost of roughly £250 (labour £120 per hr and the part £160). When I asked CPH to put it in writing, the quote was £500 (parts £260 + £240 for 2 hrs labour) which doubled from what I was told originally told from when the plumber visited the property. When I questioned, it took nearly 2 weeks for CPH to get back to me after numerous calls. The work was carried out 22 days later with the plumber doing his best to make up 2 hrs of work, having 3 telephone calls and also just sitting and cleaning the pipes. It was painful to watch.
After the new pump was installed, the floor was not warming up and there was a further call to CPH, who confirmed that there will be no charge. This plumber who came round wasn't so friendly and had poor time keeping. He asked me to pay a further £120 for a 15 min visit, for just checking the thermostat. When I said that it was agreed there would be no charge, they then sent me a bill.
I do feel that they try to pull a fast one, and try to bill you as much as they can.

The engineer was very helpful and explained what he was doing.
Also advised on heat settings on thermostat.
Advised on loft lagging on some off the pipes as it had come away! Explained so much heat can be lost in loft!
Highly recommend!

Chelmsford Plumbing And Heating were recommended to me and I can see why. They were friendly and helpful and I couldn't fault their customer service, Richard took the time to go through my quote with me and tried to find ways make this as affordable as possible. The team were also patient and accommodating when we had some access issues to the tenanted property on the day. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again in the future.

I would echo the reviews that have gone before me.this is a very good team from Martin the first contact with a good,helpful and clear attitude to Rich'who laboured for three days efficiently and succesfully not to forget the lovely and efficient Becky who has a grasp of everything in a cheerful manner..oh it,s good to be warm again.
