We bought a 4x3m pergola from Cheshire Plants and are very happy with it. We visited the site by appointment and were shown round the various options. We settled with the one we liked and they recommended a fitter. We were kept updated with delivery details and the finished product is brilliant!

Rattan sofa set
I recently bought the grey rattan sofa set that comes with a gas fire table. And it is absolutely stunning, it’s transformed my garden I’m so pleased. Hedging and Trees
I have used these guys for a number of years now, they always hold plenty of stock and there prices are the most competitive in the market, trust me I have shopped around, they offer free delivery on most orders and its always on time, I would highly recommend.

Would recommend
I've dealt with quite a few plant nurseries over the years, both online and in person, and I have to say this was one of the better experiences I've had. From the moment I placed my order, communication was excellent and I was kept updated throughout the process. The plants arrived well packaged and in fantastic condition, with no signs of damage or neglect.
What impressed me most was the quality. Every plant looked healthy, well established and clearly cared for before dispatch. It's refreshing to find a company that takes so much pride in what they supply. I'll definitely be returning in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality plants and reliable service.

Superb company

Hedging plants
Bought hedging plants to cover my back fence. I ordered 50 plants but only 49 turned up. After a quick phone call they couldn’t apologise enough and sent out the plant for the next day. Would recommend, great customer service.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS
YOU DO NOT KNOW A COMPANY UNTIL YOU NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Earlier this year i placed a large order for various potted plants plus 9 conifer root balls. The potted plants are thriving but 8 of the conifers are dead.
Now after many emails from me ( and very slow response ) , they tell me they have been left to dry out and die , which is rubbish. I countered by saying that perhaps the roots were cut short or they were out of the ground to long or the van had them for to long. Asking for a middle ground, that lets us split the difference and refund 4 of the 8 . But no reply , they are not interested. I know plants , and i treated the conifers correctly. I am disgusted really. I am in the process of planting 400 meters of hedge, but will not be using Cheshire Plants again.
Addendum: following reply from Cheshire plants , yes we can be unsure why they died. , so I asked for a middle ground as “it’s unknown” and thought it fair to share the burden . Call it a gesture of goodwill . That’s how a business grows.

We appreciate how frustrating it is when plants do not establish as expected. As with all living plants, there can be a number of factors that affect their success after planting. Following our review of the information provided, we were unable to conclude that the losses were due to an issue present at the time of supply, which is why we were not able to offer the resolution you had requested.
We do understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and we're sorry that you feel let down by the communication during the process. Feedback like yours is important, and we will use it to review how we handle customer enquiries to ensure we provide a timely and helpful service.

What a pleasure to deal with.
As a trade person I was looking for a good company with a quality product for a reasonable price and Cheshire plants ticked all these boxes.
The customer i was installing a hedge for at first decided on privet, which these guys delivered on time with no issues.
Unfortunately the customer then decided that they’d rather have Laurel hedging instead.
I was adamant that they wouldn’t be able to swap them and that the new plants wouldn’t arrive before I was due to finish either.
But after speaking to Matt he managed to sort out collection of the privet plants and delivery of the new laurel plants the very next day! This meant that I wouldn’t be delayed and could stay in schedule.
I often experience delays with deliveries and items being out of stock, but I had no issues what so ever with these guys and will 100% be using them again in the future.
My go to supplier now for all my future garden projects.

We are a trade customer with Cheshire Plants. Our experience & service with them has been worthy of a 5 star rating. We have purchased plants from them since their current sites early days & they have continually invested in the upkeep of the site, offering & ultimately quality of plants & their health. We know we are getting a great product & at a good price - the value in terms of service & product is fantastic.
Their plants are used in our garden designs throughout Cheshire & we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We’re sorry to see your review, although with only “poor quality” and “not very chuffed” to go on, it’s rather difficult for us to understand what you believe was actually wrong with the plants.
We supply thousands of Cherry Laurels every year and take the quality of our stock extremely seriously. Had you contacted us with details or photographs of your concerns, we would have been more than happy to look into them and offer advice or a resolution where appropriate.
Unfortunately, a two-star review without any explanation of the alleged issue doesn’t give us much opportunity to help.

What an excellent service this company…
What an excellent service this company provides.
I ordered x100 green sire plants which were delivered the next day. The delivery driver was really helpful and put them where I asked.
The plants were well wrapped and were in amazing condition ( very healthy dark green plants )
I have placed more orders with this company and will be doing so in the future.
Highly recommend to anyone for a fast easy experience with the highest quality.

40 x 7-8ft Cherry Laurels
I ordered 40 x 7- 8ft rootball cherry laurels for delivery at the beginning of April - they were all great quality and also all a good size.
Two months in they have settled & rooted well and we have lots and lots of new growth. Very happy with them and they were great value buying via the pallet of 12 deal on at the time. Great communication, speedy delivery and excellent customer service - would highly recommend

Bad experience, wouldn't buy from here again.
**Update**
So the tree completely died by July no matter how much it was watered. We dug it up yesterday and the roots were practically nonexistent with zero new/ white roots forming. Do not buy from this company unless you love wasting money.
I don't tend to write reviews unless they're positive but unfortunately I feel like I need to leave a review for my bad experience with this company. I ordered a Christmas tree (in fairness in the sale) but when it was delivered it was very badly wrapped and damaged. I sent a picture and complained and told them I wanted a refund but was instead offered a 50% refund and a promise the tree would absolutely be fine if planted and looked after. Unfortunately this was 16th April, and it's now (31st May) the tree is almost completely dead. The weathers been hot but I have watered the tree every time it's not rained and it's still a complete mess. Every needle that's left and not fell off is completely brown.

We’re disappointed to see this review, particularly given the resolution already offered.
When you contacted us regarding the condition of this tree, despite it having been purchased in our sale, we offered you a 50% refund which you accepted, along with advice regarding planting and aftercare.
Unfortunately, watering a newly planted tree “every time it hasn’t rained” does not necessarily mean it has received sufficient water. During warm and dry periods, newly planted trees require substantial, thorough watering directly to the rootball. Light watering or rainfall can wet the surrounding soil while leaving the rootball itself inadequately hydrated.
The fact that a tree subsequently has little or no new root development does not, by itself, demonstrate that it was defective when supplied. Root establishment is heavily dependent upon conditions after planting, particularly correct planting and adequate watering during the establishment period.
We supplied the tree alive, responded when you contacted us and provided a 50% refund as a goodwill resolution.
We’re therefore disappointed to subsequently be told that customers should “not buy from this company” and that purchasing from us is “wasting money”, particularly when we attempted to resolve your concerns fairly.
We stand behind the quality of our plants and will always try to help customers when genuine problems arise. We equally encourage every customer purchasing large plants or trees to follow the appropriate aftercare and watering guidance, particularly during periods of hot weather.
