We’ve had a very positive experience working with Chetu. They’ve supported us across multiple initiatives and have consistently been a reliable extension of our internal development team.

What stands out most is their responsiveness and flexibility. When requirements evolve or priorities shift, their team adapts quickly and communicates clearly, which has helped keep projects moving without unnecessary friction. They’re also proactive about raising questions or potential issues early rather than letting things become blockers.

From a technical standpoint, the developers we’ve worked with have been solid—able to take direction, integrate with our existing systems, and deliver work that meets our standards. Since we began working together, we’ve seen meaningful and well-documented improvements across the platform. Chetu's responsiveness has been consistently strong—whenever an issue was reported, you jumped in quickly and effectively. Achieving zero downtime in 2025 is a major accomplishment and speaks volumes about their reliability and commitment.

They are the absolute worst company imaginable. They never once met a timeline or hit a deadline. I tried repeatedly to get a refund for fees paid and they refused. They claimed to add developers but they rarely made a difference.

We hired Chetu for an Autotask/QuickBooks integration and had a very poor experience. The project was sold as a ~500-hour effort, but after more than 1000 hours it was still unfinished, and costs more than doubled the original estimate.
The solution delivered was outdated, expensive to maintain, and built with little regard for scalability or cost efficiency. Their team also showed a lack of QuickBooks knowledge, which caused repeated delays.
When we tried to escalate concerns, our requests were ignored until we finally spoke with an Operations Director, who was dismissive and unprofessional.
Overall, we were left with an overpriced, incomplete, and impractical solution. We strongly advise others to be cautious before engaging Chetu.

I work in direct sales and the company I work with went with Chetu for their new site. When the site launched, nothing worked and 3 weeks later, the stuff that they somewhat fixed is now not working either. They are costing the companies representatives to lose a lot of sales and still don't know when anything will work.

This company is absolutely TERRIBLE they drain you of your money provide less than sub par service and their turnover rate id insane. I have been working for them for almost 2 years on a custom site after TONS of testing we launched the product and as soon as we launched it NOTHING worked. DO NOT TRUST THESE people they will scam you and bleed you dry.

Their work on our project has improved our product tremendously, and has also given me confidence in their ability to help us with our ongoing projects and transitions. It is wonderful to be able to rely on their expertise. My PM hosts weekly meetings where we discuss our requests and the output.

I've worked with CheTu for several months now across all three of my Shopify websites. I have previously worked with CheTu with other businesses for both SFCC development and Shopify. This is my 3rd time working with them under 3 different businesses. I’ve worked with other partners and there is a reason I come back to CheTu.
Their ability to follow sprint-based workflows is excellent. They move from one sprint to the next with no need for direct oversight, maintaining an agile approach which I like to work with.
The CheTu developers take direction very well. You provide them with the ticketed request and tasks are completed accurately, without requiring unnecessary back-and-forth. In development some back and forth is necessary and I find that communication is clear, direct, and efficient.
Their understanding of both the frontend and backend of Shopify has boasts confidence in their control of our sites. From theme customizations to more complex backend integrations, they've shown strong technical expertise and reliable execution.
The pricing is incredibly competitive for the quality of service provided. I’ve found them to be a cost-effective, professional, and trustworthy partner, and they’ve certainly earned my confidence.
Highly recommended for any Shopify business seeking a reliable, agile, and skilled development team.

Review of Chetu Inc. – Disappointing Experience and Unfulfilled Promises

Our experience with Chetu Inc. has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. From the outset, we had high hopes for a productive partnership. Unfortunately, Chetu failed to deliver on virtually every front—except for sending regular invoices, many of which were for services we neither requested nor used.

Despite multiple conversations and written communications outlining the scope and goals of the project, Chetu did not deliver any meaningful progress or usable output. Milestones were missed repeatedly, and updates were vague or nonexistent. It quickly became clear that the project was not being actively worked on in a meaningful way.

To make matters worse, we continued receiving invoices for hours and tasks that were not authorized or substantiated. When we raised concerns, the responses were generic and evasive, with no accountability or effort to resolve the discrepancies.

This experience has cost us both time and money, and we regret choosing Chetu as a development partner. I strongly urge other businesses to proceed with caution and to thoroughly vet all billing practices before engaging.

DO NOT USE CHETU, Inc.

Chetu, Inc. represented itself as possessing the requisite expertise and experience necessary to complete my project in a timely and professional manner. However, over the course of the past ten (10) months, the team has consistently failed to meet contractual obligations and delivery timelines. The project remains incomplete and in a state no better than when it was initiated, despite assurances to the contrary.

Repeated delays, lack of technical proficiency, and failure to deliver functional and contractually compliant work have caused me to incur excessive fees and significant business disruption. I have paid substantial amounts for services that were not rendered to the standard promised or required under our agreement.

Furthermore, I explicitly instructed your team to cease all work on the project. Despite this clear directive, your team continued to perform unauthorized work and subsequently billed me for these services.

I did 2 phases of development on my software and they stood by their work.

We are genuinely excited about the potential of this new application to improve adjudication turnaround time, enhance claims accuracy, and significantly reduce manual interventions. The thoughtful planning, development, and support your team has provided so far gives us confidence that this project will be a key driver in our continued growth and success.

I contracted this company to redo my website. After 6 months of hands on work their was not adequate. This is a sham of a company. I spent over $120,000 to get nothing. I should have terminated them after 3 months. They never delivered finished product.
What I found amazing was that my old website was written in PhP. I gave them the actual programming. All they had to do was convert it to a newer version. They told me that they had no one that knew PhP. I found that amazing since 75% websites in the world use Php in some form. That's when I began to terminate our deal.
Their programmers are in India and communication was hard as they did not have a handle on English.
Using this scam company set my business back one year.
Whatever you do, do not use Chetu. Their sales team is designed for one thing and one thing only....TAKING YOUR MONEY!
Funny thing 4 months after terminating them they tried to lure me back. I went to a company called Toptel and my experience has been great. They delivered my project for half of what I spent at Chetu.

We have been working on and off with Chetu for almost 10 years and it's been a great experience. Our current team is a mix of project-based resources and staff-augmentation developers and each developer and lead has taken the time to understand our requirements and support us through our app development journey.

Our Chetu PM is invested in the team's success and ensuring that we and our users are getting a high quality app experience. I'm excited about our continued work with the Chetu team and growing with them in the future.

What was advertised up front was absolutely misrepresented throughout the entire tenure of our use of them as a development arm. Developers were wholly incompetent - even after a year of employment and numerous second chances. They repeatedly took four times the amount of hours to complete a task, and even then it was rife with errors. In the end, we found that it took us longer to correct their mistakes and manage the relationship.

They are easy to work with. One of the things I like is the set up process is simple. Instead of a month of contract negotiations it is a fast 1 or 2 page simple contract.
After a project start they are fast on getting a team set up. all of the developers we have worked with are knowledgable and really good at trouble shooting.
They offer great suggestions and are a wonderful resource to have as a part of our team.
Their work has always been fast and efficient.

Chetu is a complete scam. After retaining them for some software dev, they promised to have engineers that know the particular stack. Their agreements are written to bad reviews cannot be written, so i will omit details here as I do not want to get my legal team involved. For context, we have our own in house dev team of 30+ engineers, however this particular product, we decided to outsource, would i have known that the developers that chetu provided were incompetent and did not know the product at all, we would have rather had our devs learn and build(which is what they are doing now anyway). After chetu did the roll off and provided the code, NON FUNCTIONING after paying them for 13 months, i finally cancelled with them. The code we received was utter garbage written by a junior dev when i was promised senior devs. The code was all over the place and my Dev lead said this was the worst code he has seen.

Steer clear away from these guys. They are not cheap at all.

Also they promise state side PM and dev; all lies, it was all outsourced to India.

I am actively engaging with Chetu for feature development and support on a custom Azure application that was developed by another vendor. Chetu has proven to be a competent and valuable resource for this endeavor. They took on this project with fairly incomplete documentation, have had to basically reverse engineer and figure out how areas of the application worked, and then set to work on our feature requests while providing application support. I’ve been pleased with the process, communication, and pace of the project thus far. When combining that with very reasonable rates, I feel grateful for having them. They also have a deep bench from which to draw special skills that may be needed and I appreciate their pricing models. Being a nonprofit, every dollar counts and I am feeling like my company is getting a great overall experience with Chetu as a strategic partner. They feel more like staff augmentation than pure consultants. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Chetu is very detailed oriented and meticulous in their work. It is important to them to understand the business and how the applications work. they take the extra time to ask pertinent and targeted questions. we are very happy we have contracted with them.

The team consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, and handling my inquiries with courtesy. They went above and beyond with suggestions that will make this program work and run better. EXCELLENT OUTSTANDING JOB.
