We would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a professional team to successfully manage their planning application.
After having had a frustrating 12 months trying to get planning permission through another company we came across Christopher Stanley Architecture and Planning Ltd who responded immediately to our initial enquiry.
Alan produced a design that we were very pleased with (it was also a significant improvement on our original plans) and planning permission was achieved smoothly, efficiently and in a relatively short time frame.
We were also impressed with their working knowledge of the local archeological challenges and had the contacts in place to deal with this.

Both Justin and Neil were friendly, listened to our requirements, provided great advice and generated great designs at a high standard in a short timeframe. Would recommend them to anyone.

Plans were just what I wanted, nothing was to much trouble, always someone to talk to,I would highly recommend.

A very friendly firm. Justin did the initial visit and we were impressed enough to appoint them. Slight breakdown in communication between Justin and Alan and initial plans were not as per our remit. However after a further meeting with Alan we were presented with plans that were spot on and planning was achieved without any hitches
So overall very pleased with the service and we have now appointed them to do construction drawings and material costings

We met a few local architects and chose Alan as we felt that he completely understood what we wanted to achieve. The planning process took some time with delays from CDC and when they finally came back with some changes Alan promptly updated the plans whilst still keeping to the original brief. We’re really pleased with the plans which we now have permission to build and we wouldn’t have got to this stage without Alan’s expertise.

Great company! I wanted a single story extension to the rear and Justin listened to my ideas and was able to compliment them with a few additional ones.
Great business to work with and would definitely use them again if required.

Professional, friendly, and approachable. They made adjustments to the plans once they had been approved for planning, so add accommodating to the list :)

We were very happy with the prompt response to our enquiry, the site visit and the plans provided. We made some changes which were dealt with immediately and then a full set of drawings prepared for planning. The approval came within the mentioned timescale and now we are about to start the build. From the intial contact with Justin and then the subsequent meetings with Neil, I have found the service to be thoroughly professional and client-focused. Neil listened carefully to what I hoped to achieve and was also happy to offer initial ideas that might be a more radical interpretation of how the bungalow might be re-configured. He and his colleagues were on the case and kept in touch on a regular basis.
Eventually he produced a set of drawings that satisfied my wish list and was prompt and effecient in submitting the plans for planning approval and is still keeping in contact while we await the decision.
I can wholeheartedly recommend 'Christopher Stanley Architecture and Planning', I feel that they have delivered what I was looking for and used their professional expertise to build on my own ideas, many thanks guys!

Justin was extremely polite and knowlegeable when he came out to see us.

He made the whole process very simple, painless and speedy. All was done in a matter of weeks

I cannot recommend Christopher Stanley Architecture & Planning enough. We initially liaised with Justin which was absolutely brilliant, he came out to our property at a time that suited us (twice), his knowledge not only on what could be achieved was brilliant alongside the area, what he felt would be straight forward and approved alongside any blockers we would come across in which he already had solutions for just in case. He was extremely friendly, professional and just all around great. A member of his team came out to do all the measurements and again, he was extremely friendly, professional and polite - he was thorough and did what he had to do without really us noticing he was there.

This team were amazing, although they were busy, they were transparent on timescales, they ensured they were able to accommodate us realistically. I couldn’t recommend a better local company, if we were to do any future projects we’d certainly come back! Thank you so much guys, all the luck with future projects!

Neil was visionary and great to work with. I had expressed my frustration with the house and he immediately dove in and proposed the most brilliant use of space.
The result has changed the little cottage into a wonderful sunny house that easily hosts ourselves and guests without losing the initial feel of the neighborhood.
I highly recommend him and his dedication.

We already had planning approval but needed someone to give us some better ideas, put them on the existing drawings and submit revised drawings to planning for approval to resubmit.
They really didn’t come up with any better ideas and we finished up using our own ideas
It took from the mid May 21 to Jan 22 and it seems to me they were far to busy to give my little flat roof single height extension any quantity time.

Great service. Justin always available to discuss project, chase up planning people and communicate with us.
