Been 2 weeks since my order and the items have been in one location the whole time. Genuinely disappointed in this company, bc in the order and in a separate email I wrote them telling them about my vacation in 16 days and that I am buying the clothes for that. Now it looks like I won’t be getting the clothes since I leave tomorrow for my vacation. Would not recommend!

They used to be much better around 2020 -2021. Lot of interesting items. Trucker jacket and fluffy hoodies were my favorites. They just got rid of everything interesting and became super boring and poor quality with same price.

Years of positive experiences with Chubbies. I have gifted the swim shorts and casual shorts to several men in my family for birthdays and holidays. I always inspect the items first. They're made well. Gold star

Shipping is ridiculously slow. Do not trust them if you need them to stick to the timeline they originally show you. We were fine with a two-week shipping estimate, but then it did not come until several days after the later date promised... wasn't even SHIPPED until a day or two before the promised date. So the package of two swim trunks missed the trip. Won't buy from them again.

The thing that separates Chubbies away from Gymshark, Reebok and Under Armour is their outstanding quality. Everything feels so good to the skin. Also their styles are so much more vast compared to their competitors. They have dark colours but also more fun designs which add more pop. Although I live in the UK they ship from the USA ultra fast. My last order I ordered on Monday and I had it on Wednesday. Chubbies don’t get the recognition they deserve.

While Chubbies offers quality products, the complexity of their customer service process may lead some consumers to seek alternatives with more accessible support, such as Tommy Bahama, LL Bean, or Columbia. As a result, I prefer to shop with businesses that prioritize personal interaction in customer service.

I wear a 3XL swimtrunks in chubbies and they fit great!! The 7' Enguengos are my favorite!! they're high quality and I got them while they were on sale!! chubbies is an excellent brand name when it comes to making nice apparel or clothes especially swimtrunks and boardshorts. they have nice designs in their apparel!! not too expensive!! and have great sales!!

Terrible company. Ordered short over a month ago and still have not received them and they will not answer emails or return phone calls.

I bought two pairs of shorts over a month ago, paid and got sent all the tracking information. Tracking info never updated and no delivery has been made. Trying to contract customer services through email and no reply. Tried contacting customer services through chat and it's just AI, that doesn't help, and when passed onto a human I waited hours and no reply. Since the buy out, Chubbies has gone downhill in customer support and it's impossible to speak to anyone about my order, a refund or anything else.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered a product on 15 june and paid extra for 2 day shipping. Almost a month later, still no sign on the delivery or any updates or customer service. Terrible company. Not to be trusted.

I’ve had two nearly identical bad experiences with Chubbies, one last year, and again this year. Both times involved delayed shipping, vague timelines, and poor communication.

Last year, after my order was delayed, a rep named Melissa personally offered me a resolution: the $40 sale price plus 50% off for 3 months. I appreciated the gesture, until I found out most the items I wanted never came back in stock. I never got to use the offer, and it quietly expired.

This year, I gave Chubbies another shot. Once again, my order was split and delayed beyond their stated shipping window. When I brought up last year’s broken promise and asked for a resolution that actually meant something, I was brushed off with a generic 15% code, the kind you send to anyone. When I pushed further, they told me “there’s nothing further we can offer.”

This isn’t just about slow shipping. It’s about a clear pattern of overpromising, underdelivering, and refusing to take accountability. What’s worse is they acknowledge the prior issue but won’t make it right.

Chubbies seems more focused on quirky branding than actually standing behind their customer experience. I’l came here to make sure others know what kind of “support” they can expect when things go wrong.

I’ve never had to return shorts for myself before — the quality is truly unmatched and worth every penny. That said, I captain a volleyball team and order team shorts from Chubbies every year, usually in the same sizes. This year, we had a few changes, and I ended up needing to make two separate exchanges.

Dany and Erin made the whole process incredibly easy. I just sent a quick text, and they took care of everything. They even reassured me that it was ok, even though I repeatedly apologized and knew I was being a pain for sure lol.

Being able to text and talk to a real person for help is a game-changer. The customer service was outstanding from start to finish.

Extremely disappointing experience with Chubbies. I’ve been a loyal customer with over 10 pairs of their shorts, so this review comes from someone who has genuinely supported the brand. I ordered an item and it arrived in the wrong size — mistakes happen, sure — but when they sent a replacement, it was also the wrong size.

When I reached out again, it took days to get a response. Their solution? To send yet another replacement — completely ignoring the fact that I no longer had any trust in them to get it right. I asked to return the item instead, but that turned into another drawn-out ordeal. Customer service was painfully slow, kept requesting multiple photos, and offered minimal follow-up or clear communication.

For a company that markets itself as fun, responsive, and customer-first, this experience was the opposite. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — this was the last order I’ll be placing with Chubbies.

I ordered a pair of shorts for a Christmas present. Ordered on 11/29 and the last tracking is in Portland Oregon. Hasn’t moved from this place since it got there on 12/4. Fed ex said I won’t be getting the package . There is no phone number for customer service. Don’t order from this company. They said (AI) that I can’t get a refund until I get the package!!!

Bought the white polo with the American flag emblem. Washed well twice but after the second time the collar puckered and became unbearpolo's.

So disappointed because the feel of the shirt was great especially during a round of golf in humid conditions. Guess I'll stick with Nornan and Nike polos.

I love this brand especially the shorts. Just ordered a new pair. My favorite pair are the merica shorts which I ordered a long time ago!

I ordered a pair of kids trunks on 5/28 for a birthday on 6/25. After one full week I started tracking the order which had been started with FedEx anode the. Turned over to USPS. Once it was with USPS I could see the expected delivery date of 7/1. If during the order process they would have informed me the shipping would take 30 days plus, I would not have placed the order. Additionally, their only form of customer service is text which takes 24 - 48 hours to receive a response or an automated chat. I am not new to shopping online and have to say this is the worst I’ve seen. Hopefully the trunks show up so I can return them for a refund.

I love chubbies products and I promote them to my friends and family. However their customer service seems to be non existent as they never respond to any support emails….Ive been very disappointed with their lack of response

I have been ordering from Chubbies since 2012. First, it started with great and comfortable khaki shorts, and then I started ordering Sport shorts and Polos (All of which have been extremely great and good quality). I have now started ordering their pants and outerwear, and all I can say is positive things about every thing I've ordered. This company has grown up into a real nice quality mens clothing company and I will keep supporting them so long as they continue to make great clothes and provide exceptional customer service.
