Dr. Helmy and Sam from Ciconia Recovery continued to support me even after transferring my prescription to the GP under the Shared Care Agreement. They have also provided great support to all my acquaintances that I have referred to Ciconia (I was so happy with their services, that I referred pretty much everyone I knew was struggling).

Ciconia is an highly professional and warm clinic. The entire staff are welcoming and do their very best to ensure a high-quality patient experience. I was treated at the clinic for ADHD after struggling to find a reasonably priced and professional clinic. Ciconia was a relief to find and from diagnosis to prescription have been outstanding.

5 Star Clinic, I would definitely recommend. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome. I would like to thank SamSam the clinic manager personally for her attention to detail and taking care of all my needs. Two thumbs up 👍👍

(ADHD Assessment, diagnosis and medication) Ciconia and its team, have enabled me at the age of 42 to both discover my ADHD and provide care that unfortunately the NHS could not provide for at least two years at a time when I needed it the most. I am so fortunate that I had the means to pay for this care as so many people don't, at this most vulnerable time of their lives . I spoke with several clinics prior to Ciconia and not one of them really understood how exposed I was, not knowing anything about what I now know to be ADHD and therefore communicated in a way that the rest of society does, which exasperates all the mental torcher you have growing up because the symptoms are trying to understand what is being said and miscommunication when asking for help, these other companies didn't even have the patients to pause when you collected your thoughts because you have stopped mid sentence forgetting what you were going to say, whilst trying to remember everything all at the same time, which totally contradicts what they are there to provide for you. Yes they are a commercial entity, they are there to make a profit, and thats ok, but you would think that they would understand how to communicate to their potential ADHD patients / clients, when the whole idea is that they are there to deliver the best care for you, helping and assisting you to feel better. From the first moment i called Ciconia and reached out for help, which for me included an understanding of what i was trying to deal with, assessments, medical care, consultations, medicine, and above all their ability to humanise their communication, in a way that they genuinely went above and beyond, to ensure at the forefront of everything, they actually cared for my well being and just wanted me to feel and get better. The support and treatment that I received was exemplary.
They really didn't need to but they also provided additional support agencies, charity's and referral of further treatments that have also really helped me deal with this life changing diagnosis, ensuring that my aftercare was completely considered (which wasn't even their responsibility). I didn't need to look any further after finding them and even if I had have carried on looking at other clinics I would find it extremely difficult if not impossible to find anyone close to what they have done for me. So one big massive thank you, to Ciconia Recovery, the members of staff on the phones, the Doctor (who incidentally you could just see it in his face when he delivered the diagnosis, that he enjoys and loves his work so much because it must be the most for-filling, self satisfying vocation to help people understand who they actually are. His genuine compassion for his patients radiates from his heart felt warming and comforting smile ) and most of all Sam you have been like a guardian angel and thank you so much!!!!!!.

I was amazed by the integrity and dedication the team here at Ciconia showed. I felt accommodated at every step I’ve took with them. If you feel that you need to reach out for help, this small clinic should be at the top of your list.

Having been on the NHS waiting list for 2 and a half years, I was exasperated and decided to look elsewhere for a service to help provide me with the answers i'd been looking for for so long. Fortunately, I came across Ciconia and I wanted to share this experience so that others in a similar position could also benefit from their expertise, warmth and professionalism.

Having experienced excellent communication from my the point of my first phonecall, I travelled down from Sheffield to visit the clinic and was warmly greeted upon my arrival. All members of staff made me feel welcome and the various stages and processes were fully explained to me throughout the afternoon. Having completed an online test which again was fully discussed and explained to me, I met the psychiatrist who met with me in another room along with an assistant psychologist. I felt like he already knew me and had clearly looked through and analysed all my notes and information that i'd sent prior to my assessment. Not only did he listen carefully to me and made me feel validated throughout but he fully explained how my life events relate to various symptoms of ADHD and the neuroscience that underpin these. We discussed various stages of my life along with the test results that I'd completed both prior to the assessment and on the day itself. After confirming a diagnosis of combined ADHD, he explained the different future support pathways in a way that I could understand and relate to. Every step of the way he checked that I understood and if i'd like to ask any questions. His knowledge was outstanding and he related this to my own life experiences and reality that made this such a powerful and validating experience. The value for money and outstanding service made this extremely worthwhile and I'm so glad I chose Ciconia!

We are very happy with the care our daughter is receiving from Dr Helmy and his staff at Ciconia. We have finally found a doctor who our daughter gels with and can speak openly to. The improvement in her disposition, happiness and our homelife is phenomenal. Her meds change has been closely monitored and we finally feel that she is getting the care that she needs. The appts are private between my daughter and the Dr but I also have good communication with the Dr and his staff. I would highly recommend Dr Helmy and all at the clinic to anyone looking for help with a young adult.

I booked to look into my ADHD symptoms and felt a bit nervous but everyone at this practice went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.
I'm extremely happy with this service and have never felt so comfortable visiting a medical practice.

Both my sister and I were losing a desperate battle against addiction before we found this incredible organisation and its wonderful staff. I've never known any service -- private, public or charity -- to provide anything like the compassion and care we both experienced here. The staff bent over backwards to take care of us despite our complex circumstances. It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for the help they have given us both. Just to speak for myself, finding Ciconia - quite at random, on the internet - was the first step in reclaiming my life after falling into a period of hopeless darkness. If only the world was full of such places - but I've only ever found one that's anything like it. Wish I could give it ten stars!

What a fantastic service this organisation offer. Right from Sam on reception through the admin team to Khaled the psychiatrist who is simply the best.

I’m a professional in the ADHD world and have met many ADHD organisations offering assessments. This team at Ciconia stand out like shining stars. Why? Because they really understand ADHD and they really care.

I can’t recommend them highly enough - and I’m fussy !!!! You will not regret seeking help from Ciconia - especially if addiction plays any part of your issue. They don’t judge. They understand and bend over backwards to help.

An excellent medical centre, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. The centre is bright and clean with friendly, positive vibes.

The team at Ciconia are all-round fantastic. The lovely, kind and caring receptionist, Sam, made liaising with the centre flawless. The welcome she gave to me when I arrived at the centre made me feel reassured and I knew I had come to the right place. No question was too big and all my queries were answered.

Dr Helmy was truly outstanding. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease in his presence – and felt confident in receiving expert medical care.

I came away from my appointment, extremely impressed with the overall experience. I cannot sing their praises enough! Highly recommend. Top-class care.

I used this clinic to take a PCR test before my flight, I was extremely happy with the service. Very professional staff and smooth procedure. Thank you

Ciconia carried out a C-19 PCR test fit to travel report.
Staff extremely helpful, I was very worried I would not get the results in time.
Got the results the following day as promised, approx 24 hrs later.
I would highly recommended them.

Excellent Service. Very flexible to assign appoinments. When we got to the surgery everything was very clean and we were promptly tested. We got the results in less than 24 hrs.

Excellent service.
Called requiring an urgent PCR test, I was tested within 90 minutes of my initial phone call, and had my results within 18hrs of my test.
Friendly personable staff. Highly recommended.

All I can say is, there is no other Dr that I would have rather seen than Dr Helmy, the whole experience and every member of staff made the whole appointment here absolutely perfect.

I am not the person that usually takes time to write "reviews" but in this case I feel honored and privileged to do so.
I have been suggested this Clinic through another organization and having had other similar experiences my skepticism suddenly disappeared from the moment I walked through the Ciconia's doorstep.
All the Staff, their names can be found on the website, I have had the fortune to meet during my journey has provided me with kindness, politeness, warmth and discretion but most important of all with professionalism. I soon felt in a highly sympathetic and skilled environment...rarely found during this frenetic times.
I cannot recommend this Clinic highly enough with a Team that has specialists expertise and the ability to gain your trust having given me the chance to regain my family and my more "normal less selfish life".
Highly Recommended to whom have the desire and will power to improve their lives.

Very polite, kind and caring service. Everybody from the Receptionist to the Psychiatrist are genuinely caring from the moment you step over the doorstep. Can’t recommend this organisation highly enough. They really understand ADHD here and the connection with addiction. Professional at all times but with a warmth and understanding you rarely find.
