Very helpful company, would recommend and I would use again

Sejal helped me with my first ever self assesment and was incredibly patient and helpful with me. I'm very happy with the service.

I provided Cigma with all my tax info. Chased them after a month as I heard nothing. They then had queries, which were answered in the statements I had already provided. Further requests included me asking my previous employer to change my P45, which is not possible. They offered no expertise or advice on how I might reduce my tax bill. 2.5 months after my submissions to them my taxes were filed. I then had to chase them to pay them. I will not use again.

Cigma Accounting Ltd has been my accountant since 2019 and I think they are good, decent and charge reasonably. Big shout out to Aaron who has recently been looking after my tax filing too! It is important to me to get as much tax details as possible, pragmatic suggestions/approach, and replies to all my queries. Jerome was very helpful with organising and submitting my self assessment tax return. I had a year that included the sale of a house, remortgage, change of employment to self employed and capital gains. Jerome & Haroon actually helped me get back some overpayments that I had made.
