Further to my initial review due to the long waiting period for my Free Will, Chloe came up trumps and everything was sorted with efficiency and kindness. (I do realise CKE must have been overwhelmed with applications for Free Wills Month - hopefully this can be dealt with in the future by perhaps capping the number of applications)?

Awful service from Chloe McDonough/CKE Law. Applied for Free Will Service at the end of 2023. Submitted required quenstionaire Jan 24. Chased as not hrard anything to be told they have a backlog and would be in touch. Chased again as decided to upgrade to a more indepth Will and enquired about price. Final email to them 1st Oct 24 advising wanting to go ahead and finally got a reply today (26/2/25) so nearly 5 months later apologising for the 'delay' in getting back to us....thats some delay! Too late unfortunately (for them) as we have now gone elsewhere.

Not impressed by service regarding our will, which we started during Free will months in 2023, to date (Feb 2025) we still have yet to receive the promised paperwork to sign, even though it was promised for three months. Every step only happened after we chased several times. Stay clear.

Update: after I wrote my review the company sprung into action and resolved our issues speedily. While I think I shouldn’t need a poor review to receive the service you need, at least the review was taken seriously, which has been a positive experience!

Staff was welcoming and understanding of what I was seeking advice with.
Talked me through options and how to move forward with claim.
Always kept updated with what was happening, with case.
And are still at this present time updating me with money that is being recovered.
