Update on previous review

Update on previous review, been chasing CK Sofas about getting a shipping label to get my footstool sent back but all I get is the warehouse will send it tomorrow and guess what still no label after the initial message on the 10th of April it's now the 20th,yet again chasing them. I will not give up until it is sorted, either the warehouse is incompetent of doing their job or I am actually being fobbed off. I do believe they have had a change of name as well to CK Living so be careful guys.

From the start, we kept you fully updated regarding your order and the delays that occurred. We completely understand how frustrating delays can be, and for that we sincerely apologise. As part of resolving this, we offered you the option to cancel and receive a full refund at multiple stages.

Before we were able to complete the resolution together, a chargeback was raised through your bank. This was processed and accepted promptly, and the full amount was refunded without any issues from our side. So no, no money was "stolen", we are a genuine registered company, verifiable completely and our social media has plenty proof of delivered products.

We want to reassure anyone reading this that we are a genuine UK-based business, and we always aim to resolve any concerns directly with our customers in a fair and transparent way. We are always reachable via WhatsApp, our social media profiles and email.

If you would still like to discuss this further, we remain open and happy to assist.

County court judgement issued

I ordered a sofa on 5 January with an advertised 1–9 working day delivery timeframe.

Over the following weeks, I had to repeatedly chase for updates. Deadlines were given and missed multiple times, and communication only occurred when I contacted them.

I was eventually given a delivery date, which was never properly confirmed. I waited in all day, and no delivery took place.

After further chasing, I was told the sofa could not be completed due to a manufacturing issue. I cancelled the order.

The company confirmed in writing that:
• the order was cancelled
• a full refund had been processed
• the funds would reach my account by a specific date

That date passed.

No funds were received.
No proof of payment was provided.
Further messages were ignored.

A formal Letter Before Action was sent on 19 February. The refund remained unpaid.

I was later told the transfer had failed due to a bank change (Monzo to Lloyds) and that it had been “re-processed correctly” and would arrive the next day. It did not.

Update 25 March 2026:

Due to continued non-payment and lack of response, I issued a County Court claim.

Judgment has now been entered in my favour for £820. This is a formal court judgment.

The company has 7 days to make payment. If this is not received, I will proceed with High Court Enforcement, and further costs will be added.

Despite responding to other reviews, this company has not responded to my emails, WhatsApp messages, or a County Court Judgment issued on 25 March 2026.

I bought new Raffaelo sofa online in the beginning of the January. Delivery took much longer than we expected but we finally got sofa which is stunning! After using sofa two weeks we noticed quality issues with sewing. However, customer service was very responsive and I am waiting to get affected cushions to be replaced.

Update after you edited it to 1 star from 5 stars:

We emailed you to give you multiple options: we can post out new cushions or you can send your current ones (at our expense) and we can fix the sewing on them.
We also specified that manufacturing faults are covered in our warranty and if something like this presents again, you can contact us again to get it sorted out. No charges.

my daughter had a few issues with receiving her sofa
it was suppose to be 5 days but after waiting a few weeks she decided to cancel
she waited a week for a refund
and money was returned as promised
it’s a shame she didn’t get sofa but all sorted now
thanks to ck sofas for returning money

Horrendous Experience. Dishonest, Unprofessional and Emotionally Draining

Absolutely awful experience with CK Sofas.

I ordered a modular corner sofa on 1 January 2026, with the promise of delivery in 1–9 working days. Weeks later, no sofa, multiple broken promises, and repeated lies from both customer service and the so-called delivery driver.

Despite chasing them constantly, I was given fake delivery dates, false updates, and even more frustrating, a delivery driver who lied straight to my face. He called me well after normal delivery hours (8:55 PM), claimed he was outside my house when he wasn’t, refused to knock on the door, ignored my return calls, and was rude and dismissive when confronted.

They kept blaming the “courier company” as if that excuses anything. Let me be clear: you pay CK Sofas, not some courier. They chose the delivery company, not me. The responsibility lies with them and they failed completely.

Because of their actions, I was left embarrassed during a planned gathering at my new home, with no seating, after they guaranteed delivery multiple times. No advance notice. No proper communication. Just excuses, delays, and total negligence.

After pushing hard and demanding accountability, I finally got my money refunded, but not before wasting weeks of time, emotional stress, and total frustration. The so-called compensation offered was a joke compared to the damage done.

Buyers, BE WARNED: if you value your time, peace of mind, and honest service, avoid CK Sofas at all costs. I regret ever trusting them.

We would like to clarify a few important points to ensure an accurate and transparent account of what occurred.

Your order was placed during a peak seasonal period where, despite our best efforts, we experienced unforeseen supplier delays which directly impacted production timelines. You were informed of these supply issues and the resulting delivery delay as soon as we were made aware.

In an attempt to accommodate your repeated requests for the earliest possible delivery, we arranged an external third-party courier at additional cost to ourselves. Unfortunately, this courier failed to complete the delivery as scheduled, which we fully acknowledge is unacceptable and fell short of the standard we expect — regardless of whether the service is internal or outsourced.

Following this, we arranged delivery using our own in-house courier team. At this stage, we were advised that you would only accept delivery if an additional £300 refund was applied on top of the significant sale discount already applied to your order. As the sofa had been purchased at approximately £250 below standard retail pricing, applying a further £300 reduction would have meant supplying a fully manufactured bespoke sofa at a substantial loss.

Given this, and respecting your position, we immediately processed a full refund and cancelled the order as requested. No funds were retained.

We understand that delays are frustrating and we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused. While we could not agree to the additional discount requested, we acted promptly and fairly in issuing a full refund.

We remain committed to improving our systems and communication and appreciate all feedback as we continue to grow as a business.

Absolutely amazing company!

Our sofa arrived on 01/01/2026, and we absolutely love it! CK Sofa Inc LTD did a fantastic job.

Although there was a small delivery delay, it wasn’t an issue for us at all. CK Sofa kept us well informed throughout the process with excellent communication and even offered a goodwill gesture for the delay, which we truly appreciated.

We’re not sure when we’ll redecorate our living room again, but if CK Sofa expands their range to include other furniture, we would happily purchase from them again!

Impressive company

Communication was out of this world, delivery guys were amazing, friendly and helpful. They promised to deliver for Christmas and due to my sofas being the last delivery, they delivered at 03.00, because they did not want to break a promise.

Disappointing

If you enjoy playing “Guess if my sofa will arrive or not,” this company is perfect for you.
Once ordered, Alex confirmed that I could get my sofa within 1 - 9 working days due to my situation which was, having no sofa at all and that I requested for fast delivery.
Once I placed my order, I noticed that I was then having to follow up to check on it. It had been a week and I had heard nothing. I was then told that my sofa would've been delivered on Monday 1st December. I followed this up again, as I heard nothing about the time slot, and this message was left on read. I followed it up again on the Monday to then be told that my sofa had been damaged in transit. I was fine with this as I was reassured that it would've been delivered Thursday. That didn't happen. I chased them twice on Thursday for updates to just be told that delivery wouldn't be possible and that it would be delivered on Friday. Can you guess what happened? No delivery on Friday! Alex calls me on Friday to say that the sofa would be delivered within the next 72 hours to which I was really not impressed with considering this is now coming up to a week later than the confirmed date. Alex very kindly said that he'd give me a £100 refund and promised it would be delivered on Saturday 6th by 10pm latest. I'm sure you've gathered the story by now but guess what, still no delivery! I was on the phone to the 'Management Team' late Saturday night questioning about my sofa and if it was ever going to get delivered. This is where it now gets funny...he told me that the delivery driver will be at ours for 10:30pm. The driver calls me telling me that their van has broken down so they can either deliver on the Sunday or it will be 11:30pm that night. At this point I told them to leave it as I'm cancelling the order as I'd given up. The driver calls me back 5 mins later telling me that they can now deliver the sofa at 10:30pm so not too sure what happened with the van being broken down but ok, we'll go with it. We agreed on 10:30 but surprise surprise, I then receive their Waze update stating that it was going to be delivered at 11:49pm. Absolutely not! I reached back out to the 'Management Team' and told them to cancel my order. I tried calling them on Sunday morning to start my process of getting the money refunded but no answer. They kindly text me stating they were with family and the office was closed so just to text them instead. I asked for my proof of refund to which I was told 'If I'd just waited another hour, I would've had my sofa by now' and that their drivers had travelled 3.5 hours to get to me. Essentially just trying to make me feel guilty. This was incredibly unprofessional considering I had already waited an additional 5 days for my sofa and all I kept getting was pushbacks. By this point I was extremely frustrated but luckily Alex came to the rescue (when he decided his phone was working and conveniently missing all of the calls from me) stating that he'd processed the refund for me, with proof.
The only thing delivered promptly? My refund—and that’s saying something!

We do want to clarify the full context for readers, as multiple factors outside our control contributed to delays during your order:

Timeline: customer placed order on 20th November --> Was advised 9 working days for delivery. --> Sofa was sent out for delivery on 7 December (after 11 working days) --> customer cancelled on 7 December --> refund issued 8 December.

• We kept the customer updated throughout the process.
From the moment the order was placed, we communicated the expected manufacturing and delivery window. Unfortunately, the holiday period caused several of our suppliers to delay materials, which impacted production times for many orders industry-wide. We explained this and kindly asked for patience.

• Your sofa was manufactured as quickly as possible despite the seasonal delays.
Once your sofa passed its final quality checks, we even paid the couriers extra to remain on standby so it could be collected and delivered to you as soon as it was ready.

• Couriers were travelling over 3.5–4 hours from Lancashire.
The couriers updated you directly with their ETA and, due to the late hour, they also offered to stay near your area overnight and deliver first thing in the morning if that felt more comfortable for you.

• We were always prepared to complete the delivery.
Even on the final evening, the couriers were en route and ready to complete the delivery, but we fully respected your decision to cancel.

• Refund was issued immediately. You requested cancellation after 10pm on Saturday December 7th, refund was processed Sunday December 8th at 10:45am.


We appreciate your frustration with the delays, and we sincerely apologise again that the experience was not as seamless as it should have been. We take all feedback seriously and are continuously improving our processes, especially during peak seasons, to make sure situations like this are prevented.

Love it

We were a bit worried about making a large purchase online, we needn't of. From the start we were kept informed on the progress of our order and on the day of delivery the driver kept in touch. On arrival they were polite and friendly, they unpacked the sofa and set it up, making sure we were happy before leaving. The quality is great as is the price, plus to top it all it's so so comfy.
