Before placing your order, you reached out regarding shipping costs and expressed concern about the price. Our team explained that these costs were set by UPS and were non-negotiable, as we had no control over their pricing.

You then went ahead and purchased the grille for your CLS, which we shipped in brand-new, carefully packaged condition. Unfortunately, it appears UPS mishandled the package, and you shared images showing the box had been damaged during transit. This was clearly not how we sent the product, and, as you acknowledged, it was evident that UPS had failed to handle the package properly.

You also pointed out that one small retaining clip had detached from the grille. We suggested a simple solution: gluing the clip back on, which wouldn't affect installation. Given that you were also attaching an emblem, which requires gluing as well, we felt it made sense to address both tasks together rather than go through the lengthy process of filing a UPS claim.

Throughout our communication, our team responded promptly and courteously, even offering a gesture of goodwill to compensate for the inconvenience.

According to our records, you had planned to report the damage to UPS so the claims process could be initiated. Given all this, we were surprised to receive your review, especially considering that our staff made every effort to ensure you were satisfied with your purchase.

We are extremely concerned to have received your negative review.

You purchased some grille trims for your Mercedes SL which were correctly described in the product title, description and the exact image shown as supplied by the manufacturer Gap in Germany (Mansory).

Somehow the title 'Mercedes R230 SL Chrome Bonnet Hood Trims Set Models from May 2005 until 2008' was confusing and misleading only to you, and not a single other customer who has purchased the same trims all across the globe.

You subsequently sent us some emails concerning your dissatisfaction to which our team responded politely and professionally. You were offered the opportunity to return the unwanted goods for a full refund. Not a total 'faff' as you have suggested, just to return the goods.

Instead some 10 days later instead of sending the goods back to the address provided, you have written a negative review.

Had you simply read the returned the goods, we would have gladly have refunded you in full.

You purchased a facelift Mercedes A Class grille.

You were sent the correct item, and sent us an email 10 days after purchase stating the item did not fit. Our team replied to you immediately requesting further information on the issue. On each occasion you took several days to respond, and each and every time stating a different reason. When our team finally got to the bottom of your issue, it was determined in fact you had in fact received the correct item exactly as advertised. It was more a case of you failed to read the clear and concise description concerning the dummy camera holder.

You were offered a refund but did not want to adhere to UK law concerning the return period. Instead you wanted to return the item within what you deemed suitable to fit around your lifestyle.

Our team tried everything to assist you, unfortunately whatever we offered was simply not good enough for you.

We are extremely concerned to have read your review.

Your order was received on 18 September and was dispatched same day via Royal Mail.

Regrettably we have no control of a delivery once it has been dispatched, and this instance was no exception. You would have received your package earlier, however, due to the Irish Postal service, and not us, your parcel was delayed. Ireland Customs service have delayed your delivery and you should have received it last week. However, you were not in to accept the delivery.

Concerning Customs duties/ Import charges, this is clearly outlined on our website in advance to avoid any issues. It is most regrettable you failed to read this prior to order.

It is most unfortunate when customers blame the retailer for delays when they are fully aware the retailer has communicated promptly and tried everything possible to get a package delivered on time. We are not a courier!

Your order was dispatched on the same day via UPS Express service. Our team promptly responded to all communication received from you concerning your order. You were also advised we had reached out to UPS concerning the delivery date, and that upon receiving their response we would again contact you back. Regrettably it would appear you failed to acknowledge this. In either case UPS have now advised us your order will be delivered to you later this week. They have stated goods were stuck at Australian Customs. This issue is down to your government and is completely beyond our control.

Our team can only dispatch the goods using the services offered by the couriers. We are not physical couriers ourselves and have no influence on delivery timings or delays.
