I recently went to this store to get my 3 daughters Lizzie, Tracey and Poppy new school shoes for September, thought Iâd beat the rush whilst Clarkâs had good stock!
A lady with blonde hair in her early 50âs called Karen served me. She was very patient with my girls as they tried on a dozen different shoes and she kept having to go back to the stock room. She never complained, even though I was getting frustrated with them!
Will be back this time next year to go up a size or two! Excellent service.
Appalling customer service from theâŠ
Appalling customer service from the manager I presume she is a middle aged white lady. I went into clarks on Saturday the 27th of June to get my feet measured but when I asked she murmured something under her breath saying she needs to go to a surprise party and is getting late even though it was only 5.30 and the store closes at 6pm she also started to close the shutters at 20 minutes early before closing time. I was completely ignored. No professionalism at all. All the customers in the shop could hear was her shouting at her colleagues it was not nice at all the way she was speaking to them in a demeaning manner. I did not end up buying anything as I was ignored. Customers like us pay a lot for comfortable shoes we deserve better service then this. @clarks do better in employing staff! I wont be coming back to this store again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

NADINE, from Clarks Swansea Quadrant, was very helpful today sold me two pairs of shoes,owned the problems I was having with my footwear and was willing to get as many pairs to try on compared with other retailer staff who either had only trainers to sell or were too busy chatting to customers. Nadine is a credit to your store. Measured my feet sold me cleaner and polish.. Friendly and not cant be bothered in attitude. Well done!!

Incredibly bad customer service
Incredibly bad customer service. They use Evri (mistake!) who basically appear to have stolen my shoes.
Be aware that Clarks do not proactively check their tracking. I reported them undelivered and got a polite mail but it basically said wait!
I chased again later and was asked what the details of my order were so they could replace.
But surely they already know my details?!! Basically they could not care less and seem happy to provide a terrible level of service. They barely go through the motions.
Their reply says it all -
A link to their standard coms channels is NOT an escallation!
No mention of what they will do about the courier who nicked my shoes
No acknowledgement that they could track deliveries (via an API link) and proactively chase non delivered items.
No options to do click and collect from local stores - cheaper and more secure for all of us.
No comment about why they use the worst courier company in the uk.
No acceptance that their brand is damaged by situations such as this.
Mediocre customer service continues.

Wow!!! What an amazing employee you have!
I was absolutely shocked how excellent Emily B gave me, from being very disappointed on my very first visit to Llandudno shop when I collected my first parcel.
There was just one lady on her own giving terrible customer service, walking slowly unmotivated serving a customer. Slowly passing me saying I will be with you soon, walking and acting very unhappy :(

CLARKS SHOES FREE DELIVERY WITH £50 SPEND ONLINE - BUT ON RETURNS AUTOMATIC REDUCTION OF £2.95
Bought a pair of shoes costing £90 from Clark's online which offer's free delivery on purchases over £50.
However if you then need to return your purchase; you will compulsorily be charged £2.95 for the privilege.
What this means is that customer's will never get their full purchase price refunded unless it is returned to one of its shops; for which there are fewer and fewer on the high street.
Why doesn't Clark's automatically provide it's customer's with a free returns label with their order's? It has delivery contracts with DPD and EVRI already so it can't be that much of an extension of those contracts and would give the customers the choice to return items via the post office.
Instead customer's have to make a request for a returns label and once Clarks receives the goods/items back, it withholds £2.95 from the purchase price.
Be weary of this practice / hack and always return your goods via one of it's shops ; if you can find one!

She asked me what I was looking for, I told her my job involves being on my feet for 12 hours as A Doorman at a 5 star hotel.At once she recommended me a beautiful pair of Cushion shoes at £100.00...I try them on and was surprised how stylish and comfortable there were. She informed me my feet will feel better after 12 hrs working when I take them off..
So a big Thanks to Zainab for helping me today on the 1st July.

The staff at the Lancaster store have been so helpful. Both Gill on 14/05 and Naima on 29/06 have spent the time looking for shoes and trainers that will accommodate orthopaedic inner soles for my child. Finding shoes that both fit and are liked is not always easy and we really appreciate the extra effort made. Thank you.

My Mum and I visited the Abbey Centre (Newtownabbey) store today, hoping to get some sandals for our upcoming holiday. Maria helped us out immensely! She was happy to get us any shoe with wanted to try on and knew the answer to every question we fired at her. Maria has been helping our family out for many years, getting school shoes for my older siblings and I since we were small. I am now in the second year of university and her kind smiling spirit has never changed! Today my mum and I came out with 2 pairs of shoes (buy one get one half price we couldnât resist!!) so grateful for all of Mariaâs help today and throughout the years!!
Very disappointed - No exchanges!
I purchased a sandal (it was sold out, put my name and when it became available I purchased it). I always wear a 9 in all shoes including Clarkâs. The length was a tiny bit too long and the straps were too loose. I had received at 10% discount by email which I used. I called today to ask for an exchange to an 8.5 rather than returning and losing my discount. They canât do that I was told. So I would need to return them, pay $5 restocking fee and re-purchase the smaller size at full price. Clearly thatâs not going to happen, I will need to look for a different store/shoes. This is very poor customer service for such a big brand shoe company. I have no issue with the $5 restocking fee but I have a problem with not being able to issue me another %10 discount code. Very disappointed.
July 5 - Stephany - thanks for the reply but options should have been provided when I called to exchange and expressed my frustration with the situation. I have purchase another pair of shoes for the wedding from a company willing to exchange (without a fee) if they werenât suitable to me.

Advertise products buy one get one 50% off then cancel your cheap pair and tell you to reorder (at full price, no thanks Anthea in customer support). Product is still available online. Then you have to pay to return since you never got your actual order or drive to a shop to return so either way your out of pocket. Oh and I had to wait 4 days from ordering for them to actually dispatch half an order which in this day and age is extremely slow. Let's see how long it takes to get my money back! I would avoid Clarks at all costs. Zero customer service. Theres far better companies out there.
