I took Tim’s cleaning company course and it was honestly really helpful. He explains things in a way that actually makes sense and gives tips you can use right away. I got a lot of value out of it, and Tim was super approachable and willing to help whenever I had questions. Definitely worth it if you’re looking to get better at running a cleaning business.

Business in a box. Only way I can describe it. The tools are all there for us to learn and run the cleaning business. What’s really nice is that there’s so much to expand into as well like carpet cleaning , painting ect. We’ve done over 250,000 in revenue in less than 8 months.

Save your money. My experience with this academy was extremely disappointing and, honestly, concerning.

The owner, Tim Nguyen, consistently came across as dishonest, dismissive, and arrogant in his interactions. In my experience, he made claims that did not align with what was actually being delivered, and when students raised legitimate concerns, responsibility was almost always shifted back onto them.

One of the most troubling aspects was the tactics being encouraged inside the group, which appear to go directly against Google’s policies. For example, students were advised to pick up incoming Google Local Service/lead calls and hang up within a few seconds to avoid being charged, then call the customer back separately. Eventually, Google caught on to this behavior, and many students’ accounts were suspended, including mine. At that point, the guidance suddenly turned into blame rather than accountability.

When students complained or shared that they were struggling—or that their accounts were being suspended—the response was often along the lines of “you must be doing something wrong because other students are making money.” This was demoralizing and dismissive, especially when many students were experiencing the same issues. I’ve personally seen numerous students in the group voice these concerns, and I have screenshots documenting the widespread frustration.

For a program charging around $10,000, the actual educational value is very basic: forming an LLC, using tools like Housecall Pro, and setting up a Google Business Profile. None of this is advanced or proprietary, and most of it can be learned for free or at a much lower cost elsewhere.

Overall, the program felt far more focused on revenue than on genuinely helping students succeed long term. If you’re serious about starting a cleaning business, I strongly recommend saving your money and finding a mentor or resource that is transparent, ethical, policy-compliant, and genuinely invested in your success.

I come from a corporate background and never really thought about starting my own cleaning business until a friend who knew the owners referred me. That’s when I started looking more into remote cleaning. Long story short, I met with their team and decided to move forward with the DFY Gold so they could build my business from the ground up, get cash flow going, set up a VA, and manage everything for a few months before handing it over to me fully operational.

I’m now making a solid profit each month, enough to cover most of my bills, which was exactly what I was aiming for in the beginning.

I’d definitely recommend Tim, Tyler, and the team if you’re looking for something real that delivers results without promising the world.

I saw ads for these guys popping up on my Insta feed for months so I started to do some research and see if they were really legit. After looking under the hood I felt comfortable contacting them and was impressed by their salesmanship and onboarding process so I joined in August of 2024 with the Done-for-you program where they get your business up and running for $25k.

I was assigned to Adrian and our first call was good setting everything up for North Carolina. A couple weeks after everything was set up Google changed their policy and we had to set the business up where I was located in Florida to get GLSA up and running to advertise. I had no problem doing it and they told me I'm still in a great market so no worries.

Progress was very slow but a couple jobs started rolling in as Adrian was handling the hiring and leads generation per the program regulations. I was now in Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa.

Slowly the leads started to decrease month after month after month as I'm patiently waiting for some type of update from Adrian or Tim but nothing...... So I reach out and Tim and Adrian assure me everything is good and in fact Tim is going to start "pumping" my account himself and he is also going to "blow me up" in North Carolina. Fast forward another month and as I'm watching everyone in the group surpass my revenue by miles and miles I reach out to Adrian and Tim again and am assured all is good. Another 2 months goes by with literally booking 5-6 jobs a MONTH. I'm patiently waiting for an update from Adrian to communicate.....ANYTHING. But nothing comes.

So I reach back out to Tim and Adrian and ask them to get on a call to discuss what is going on with my failing business and they tell my my GLSA account was shut down by Google because of a "Duplicate" account. I have no duplicate account and what is even more confusing is if you are truly actively working on my account why would it take so long to figure this out? They told me a lead would trickle in every now and then whch made them "think" everything was fine. To anyone reading this I myself was watching my House Call Pro and email every day and 7-10 days would go by without even a single notification from Google someone was interested in getting a house cleaned from my business.

They did falsely pump my reviews with a service they offer at an extra charge for free and threw in a couple other trinkets as well but ultimately everything failed including them trying to move my business to Phoenix and Las Vegas where my first customer immediately filed a dispute to get their money back.

That's where I drew the line and told them I'm shutting things down. You would think things would stop there, but nope.

I talked to them and asked if I can sell this business with the reviews and everything all warmed up for the next person and I was assured that they have facilitated transactions like this in the past and they would take care of everything.

A few days later Tyler texts me saying hey I hear you want to sell your business how much are you making per month and I just laughed and told him at the end of the month the balance is negative.

He didn't even reply. I had to reach out again to see if he got my message and was going to actively look for a buyer.

That was May 20th 2025, and it is June 12th 2025 today and I have had no communication from anyone at Clean Profit Academy.

I was buying this business to help me reduce my physical work load because I had a new baby boy coming. Instead these guys burned my $25k and I am not even an afterthought to them.

Lesson learned - buyer beware. Tim is a very smooth talker, and knows what to say to people please but yields no real action.

Amazing that you are "open to conversation" when for nearly 9 months I had to be the one "opening conversation." If you want to bring closure to this then why not offer me all or part of my money back when you had the chance? What amazes me even more is I am allegedly the last one to have the done-for-you service! Congrats to me!

Tyler cares so deeply about his students I only heard from him once at onboarding! When he contacted me to sell my worthless account there was no "hey man sorry this didn't work out." Nothing!

And this is the problem, you never treated me like a human being. There were never any updates unless I reached out asking, and because of your poor business practices I have no idea how much time was spent on my account by Adrian, or any of the VA's. I've never received a single report - "Hey Chris we did XYZ this week."

Tim and Adrian care so much there was a text I sent on March 1 at 7:03 AM asking about Art's SEO service that neither of them responded! The next time I was contacted was May 1 asking for a code sent to my phone! 2 Months!

It's good they did away with the done-for-you so nobody else will lose their money!

I started my cleaning business at the beginning of last year, and to say it was a struggle would be an understatement. Starting my own business has always been a dream, and Clean Profit Academy helped make it happen! I was super hesitant at first and spent way too much time debating if I should join.
