I requested a callback after emailing back and forth as im having trouble logging into the app as the app is asking me to confirm the first 6 digits of my old card i used when registering, i no longer have the card and have a new one and wanted to remove the attached card so i could update with my new card.
Just had the most rude individual ive ever spoke to in a customer service environment. Constantly trying to talk over the top of me and even raising his voice over mine so he could be heard while im trying to say my piece, ive never experienced anything like it.
He was saying they need to investigate as the details i gave on the phone call were wrong and at the end of the call in the snooty 'above everyone else' tone said thank you and goodbye and hung up. Quite how my only details can be wrong i will never know but what an absolute shambles im still trembling with anger as i type this.

I needed to cancel an order, that i couldnt wihtout a comfirmation number..i never recieved the email from the merchant so could not do it..i asked clearpay if they could ask the merchant to send my conformation e mail ..they just point blank refused saying they have nothing to do with it and the merchant wouldnt help withput the number.... i got loads of emails telling me the same thing over and over...surely 1 of them could of been sent to the merchant asking for my comfirmation... i thought the fact i never recieved my confirmation e mail might of obliged them to help..it was acctually a hotel booking aswell so i needed that e mail to stay there..just point blank refused

Clearpayâs handling of my motherâs account has been deeply disappointing and completely unacceptable. Her account was blocked without reason, despite the fact that she has never once missed a payment. She then went above and beyond, providing every single document requested â including her official Spanish birth certificate (Certificación Literal de Nacimiento).
Instead of care, support, or even basic human understanding, all she has received are automated, dismissive responses. There has been no genuine attempt to resolve the issue, no urgency, and no acknowledgment of the stress and unfairness caused.
My mother has done everything in her power to comply and cooperate. The failure here lies entirely with Clearpay. Blocking a loyal customerâs account without justification, then refusing to process valid documentation, shows a complete disregard for customer wellbeing and trust.
Clearpay should reflect on how they treat the very people who keep their business running. Right now, it feels like customers are seen as nothing more than account numbers â not people who deserve respect.
Clearpay in collaboration with Fake companies
It's unfortunate that Clearpay are in collaboration with companies that deal in fake products (Mygeoli). You would expect that Clearpay should scrutinise these companies but all they are interested in is to collect your money and make things difficult on how to get your refund. These companies they work with do not reply their emails and yet Clearpay will use a bot to frustrated your life by telling you to contact the fake company them knowing fully well that these are fake companies. I will never use Clearpay. They are not as reliable as Klarna. Go and learn from Klarna. In fact I am deleting the app. These is so annoying

Had a clearpay account for 3 months. Terrible service. I am now owed £60 in refunds from 2 online orders. I have sent 17 online messages and 52 emails to get this resolved. Unnacceptable. The website is well below par, you can't even run statements, look at past refunds in the account. I really hope something is done about this company.
Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers I closed an account because they froze my original one. I closed the other account but I got âtold offâ and lied to by 2 managers saying if I paid off my new account I could start using it. I stead they closed my new account and reopened the frozen one. Basically got shouted at and told I was lying when I challenged them on the facts. I have all the call records and Iâll be reporting them to the FCA. Clearly their conduct is shady and dishonest.

Bought something online last week using Clearpay card and collected in store.item was wrong size so I had to get a refund and start over again to order right size.
First refund went through perfectly but when I went to collect the item today I realised that again the wrong size had been delivered.
I decided not to use the company again and tapped my phone in store with my Clearpay card and no email no nothing to say Iâd returned item like the week before.
I reached out today and they have called me a liar saying I had got the refund on my bank card despite the card number on receipt matching the Clearpay card.
Refuse to believe me and Iâve told them that I will 100% not pay for something I donât have.
Item was £179 and my limit is 2k so Iâm not gonna lie about that when I could have went a bit nuts with it.
Where do these lot get off calling folk liars and stealing their money!
They're more concerned about takingâŠ
They're more concerned about taking your money. There's been times where I've desperately needed to change my payment date when circumstances have been out of my control. And they can't and wont. You're unable to change first and last payments. They the slap on a late fee after one day. And keep continuing to try and take payment. I would avoid at all costs. I wish they were more understanding and gave better leeway if your unable to make a payment.

When u return a merchandise u expect them to help reach out the merchant to facilitate the refund instead they sit back and want u to miss a payment so they can start charging fees . Not nice at all. is like the merchant is purposely delaying the refund and Clearpay is not helpful.

I opened up a Clearpay account, sent my information for verification no problem, then for whatever reason I received an email saying that I had once opened up a second account under an email Iâve never heard of, which I never did, and they verified this fraudulent email with my information I sent over, Iâve sent numerous emails explaining this but itâs like talking to a brick wall, stay away from this company. It absolutely stinks and itâs definitely definitely a scam.

Bought an item from them last year (Joker model, Infinity collectibles) made all 4 payments & never recived anything. Rang customer services & they stated that after 100 days they were no longer able to help & I needed to contact Infinity collectibles. I did this 4 times & never got a response.
I then went to my bank & they stated that as the payments were made through clear pay, they were not able to get the money back using charge back. To this day I have never recived the item. The bank said I had been scammed. I would advise everyone to avoid clear pay. They are dishonest & corrupt. I will never use again. They basically stole £400 uk pounds off me. They are a bunch of theves

Not even ONE star had the option existed. I simply needed to change my payment card.. ..I have spent 2 hours attempting to. The app freezes. Continually. At the point of new card verification initially. Now everywhere. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Turning my phone on and off. Re installing WiFi. The lot. Finally someone did phone ...I could not hear what he said initially, then tried everything he suggested, nothing worked. I am now waiting for another phone call. .when will I get that.

Terrible service, Ive chosen to pay for an order through Clear pay, I wasn't aware I needed to redeem a voucher and send it to the Retailer separately before the order was placed and sent to me, the order hasn't even been placed with the retailer yet they've already taken payments from me.
