I searched high and low for an accountant and I feel I definitely have found the best one with Clever Accounts who I joined in December 2025. Since that time, they have provided me with as much support that I have needed in setting up my own Ltd. They have provided me with an excellent accountant named Ajib. They encourage me to make regular appointments for the first view months to make sure I am onboarded properly and that I have all of the necessary information needed. Therefore, I feel, they have gone over and above to provide me with their support. They will also check any contracts to make sure they meet Ltd requirements. They came in at very competitive price compared to similar accountant companies. There have been no extra or hidden costs. They appear to have a very streamlined and efficient approach which seems to support the company to be fully available in offering all of the support you need from an accountant.

I've had a great experience working with Clever Accounts, especially Suhail. He is professional, reliable, and consistently goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. communication is always clear and timely, and he makes complex financial matters easy to understand.

I’ve had a great experience with Clever Accounts. The whole system is very easy to use, and their app is just as straightforward and user-friendly, which makes managing everything simple and stress-free.

My personal accountant, Kiran Mann, has been exceptional. She always goes above and beyond, answering any questions I have incredibly quickly and never missing a scheduled call. On the rare occasion I’ve missed a call myself, I’ve received a callback within less than half an hour after sending an email. Speaking of emails, responses are so fast it feels almost instant.

Kiran does a fantastic job of keeping me informed about everything, which gives me real confidence that my finances are in good hands. Another big plus is that even when your personal accountant is unavailable, there is always cover in place, so you can reach someone at Clever Accounts whenever you need to.

Overall, a highly reliable and efficient service that I would definitely recommend.

I found these guys really easy to get on board and work with.
They are patient and break everything down really easy which is really helpful.
The accounting software they allow you to use is super easy and does so much of the work for you i would highly recommend them 100%

I made an enquiry with Clever Accounts while considering a change of accountant, and unfortunately the experience was not a positive one.

From the outset, the communication felt heavily automated and focused on pushing for a call, rather than responding to the specific information I had provided. I took the time to set out my requirements clearly in writing and asked for a written proposal and indicative fee, but this was never properly addressed.

Instead, I received a series of follow-up emails and attempted calls, including continued contact even after I had explicitly confirmed I did not wish to proceed.
For me, this came across as a sales-driven process rather than a professional advisory service. When choosing an accountant, I’m looking for thoughtful, tailored engagement and respect for how I prefer to communicate — neither of which I experienced here.
I have since appointed a smaller firm whose approach is far more personal and responsive.

I’m sure this model works for some, but if you value clear, considered communication and having your specific queries answered directly, you may want to think carefully before engaging.

My experience with clever accounts is really good the accountant I work with (Suhail Sagher), is very helpful, friendly and prompt with helping me.
I would recommend clever accounts to anybody whether your a sole trader or a LTD.

I had a very disappointing experience with Clever Accounts. I paid nearly £90 a month and genuinely feel like I received nothing in return. Communication has been extremely poor — my assigned accountant never seems to have availability to actually speak when needed, which defeats the purpose of paying a monthly fee for “support.”

On top of that, whenever I needed documents sent to HMRC, I was told there would be additional charges for their time to send them. If I’m already paying a substantial monthly fee, basic tasks like submitting documents shouldn’t come with extra costs every time.

Overall, it feels like you’re paying a monthly subscription for very little service, and then being charged again for essential work. I would not recommend based on my experience.

I was a bit dubious at first at using an online accountant, I needn't have worried. I have my own dedicated contact there, Kiran and she is fantastic. It is one of those services that when the DD goes out I think, what do they do for me, then I look at how much they have saved me and it's obvious.
