Climate related survey. We'll set out and very user friendly. Brief survry and I learnt something new - the connection between Nutella and palm oil. 😬 No more Nutella sandwiches!

A chance to contribute to solving the climate problem
The carbon-footprint calculator was interesting and informative to complete. I am really pleased to be able to offset my number so as to be a carbon-neutral resident of the planet for only $9/month. Bravo to Robert and his family for creating such a hope-positive tool and pathway to improving a situation that many of us find so overwhelmingly depressing.

A carbon offset specialist since 2000
A carbon offset specialist since 2000. We still have a long way to go. Both emission producers and consumers need to bite the bullet and start realistically offsetting their emissions. State of Connecticut might be excellent guinea pig for lobby and legislation Have sent email with proposal. Cheers

Good start for carbon reduction.
Good for most people who have normal stuff. We have more unusual carbon reduction stuff like 100% renewable electricity. Could add a window for how much/many solar panels.

Great tool for climate activists…
Great tool for climate activists looking for specific responses to the common objections heard about why taking action is so difficult: it is the corporations fault, I can’t do anything about these decisions, out of my control, etc. You show what can be done, how to measure it, and steps you can take to move in the right direction. My only suggestion for improvement how do we know our subscription buy carbon credits/invest in carbon free energy projects and such, is happening? A big ask I know, and might be too much, but it would add a lot of cred to the project and make me want to give even more.

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Bruce! We're so glad you find the tool helpful for addressing those common objections. We totally agree that transparency about how your subscription impacts carbon offset projects is important. We’re working on providing more detailed insights into how your contributions are being used and tracked, and your suggestion is a great one. While it’s a big ask, we’re committed to improving in this area to give our supporters even more confidence in the impact of their actions. Thanks again for your valuable feedback, and for being part of the movement to make a difference!

Thank you for your feedback! You're absolutely right – many factors like car ownership are often out of younger individuals' control. We try to make the calculator as inclusive as possible, but we appreciate that adjustments could be made for users in different life stages. We're always looking for ways to improve, so your input is really helpful. Thanks again for sharing!
Good survey but inaccurate for Cold climate locations
I liked your survey but I'm in Canada. We must supplement our heat pumps with alternate heat in weather below -10c. Your questionnaire becomes inaccurate because of this.

ClimateHero からの回答
Thank you for your valuable feedback, Robert! You're absolutely right that in colder climates like Canada, heating needs can be more complex and heat pumps may not be sufficient during extreme cold. We strive for accuracy, and we're constantly looking for ways to refine our questionnaire to account for regional differences. Your input will certainly help guide improvements to better serve users in colder regions. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
