Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify the situation to ensure full transparency for anyone reading this review.

Your initial quotation (€6,350) was based on the information provided at the time. The furniture shown in the pictures accounted for approximately 1 CBM, and based on your description of “clothes and other items,” we included an allowance of 15 boxes. This resulted in an estimated total of 3 CBM for household goods, which you confirmed as correct prior to the move, plus 3.5 CBM for the motorbike.

Please note that we did not receive any pictures or detailed inventory of clothes, shoes, or accessories that would have allowed us to assess a higher number of boxes at quotation stage.

At the time of collection, the actual volume was assessed by the professional crew, and you signed and accepted the volume overage, confirming approximately 7.5 CBM of household goods, in addition to the motorbike.

The final invoice (€9,398) reflects this confirmed volume only. The increase is therefore directly proportional to the additional space your shipment occupied, not an unexpected or arbitrary charge.

For further clarity, when the final invoice was issued, no concerns or objections were raised at that time regarding the volume or cost.

Regarding the delivery address change, this was an interstate change (from Louisiana to Texas), which normally involves additional costs due to different destination logistics and was communicated in advance. Following a review with our U.S. partner today, we can confirm that, in your case, these charges were waived as a gesture of good will to be of more help.

We are sorry that you feel this way, but it is important to correct several inaccurate statements so that future customers receive a fair and truthful understanding of the service provided.

Final Transport Volume

Your booking was confirmed for 10 CBM, but the final loaded volume was 18 CBM. This was measured on site, documented in the official paperwork, and signed by you.
CBM is part of mandatory customs and shipping documentation, so it cannot be altered or “invented”.

Pre-Move Inventory Based on Photos

The preliminary inventory calculated based on the photos and list you submitted showed 17.67 CBM.
You agreed to remove approximately 8 CBM of items to stay close to your 10 CBM booking.
This removal did not take place, which is why the final volume remained significantly above the contracted limit.

Signed Advisement of Possible Overflow

At origin, you signed an Advisement of Possible Overflow confirming that the volume could exceed 15 CBM.
This document clearly explained that additional labour or charges may apply if the final capacity exceeds the booking.
Your signature confirms that you were informed and aware.

Extra Volume Costs and Accommodation

Despite the extra 8 CBM, you were not charged for extra equipment, extra truck capacity, or additional tolls.
Only additional labour was applied, which is standard and unavoidable when nearly double the planned volume must be handled.

Packing Quality Confirmation

You signed the packing completion form at origin, confirming that packing was done to your satisfaction.
To date, no insurance claim or damage report has been submitted.
If any item is damaged, the correct insurance process must be followed, as ports and customs can also influence the condition of goods.

Unpacking Scope at Destination

Your contract included unpacking of furniture only.
Full unpacking of all boxes is a separate service and was not purchased.
The crew performed exactly the scope of services that you agreed to in your signed contract.

Communication and Delivery Timeline

We responded to your messages promptly and provided full transparency throughout the process.
Your shipment remains within the normal international groupage delivery timeframe.

Senior-Level Support

As with all UK companies, our corporate structure is publicly listed on Companies House. The fact that a senior manager is also a director does not change the service provided, the pricing agreed, or the responsibilities we hold to our customers.

Pattern of Unjustified Negative Reviews

Your public Trustpilot profile shows multiple 1–2 star reviews across different companies.
This consistent pattern suggests that dissatisfaction may not be based on service performance but on expectations that are not aligned with industry standards.
