I'm very impressed with Cogent. They were recommended to me by a colleague and I started with Cogent on their full accountancy service until I had a better idea of how everything worked. Cogent then tailored my accountancy requirements to suit my knowledge and I maintain regular contact with Jeremy and Vince for them to help and advise me as and when necessary. Their accountancy system is great - easy to use and I can see in real time what my incomings and outgoings are. They are easy to contact, no waiting for replies etc and provide a valuable service to me. I would definitely recommend Cogent.

Cogent Accountants represent excellent value for money. I am on the Prime Service. I have to say that the service has been top notch from the very first meeting where I was met by two members of the team who explained everything very clearly. Upon enrolment I received access to the Freeagent online accounting package which is included in my monthly fee. This package is extremely useful especially when you know that Cogent are looking over your shoulder and correcting any errors made. You have a personal accountant (Vince in my case) assigned to you, he has been excellent with very prompt responses, I have full confidence that they’re looking after my best interests whilst keeping me on the straight and narrow with clear and concise responses to my questions. I am extremely happy with the service provided to date and. I would at every opportunity highly recommend Cogent.

My relationship with Cogent Accountants, now nearly a year old, is working very well indeed. I am an engineering contractor operating as the director of a limited company. With Cogent, I have easy phone and e-mail contact when I need book-keeping advice or assistance. Further, Cogent has made a very good choice in providing its clients with FreeAgent online accounting software; it is easy to use and does what it's supposed to do.

As someone starting out in the world of self-employment, I came across Cogent by chance when searching for Accountants. What a great find that turned out to be. From making an initial enquiry, I was promptly called back and introduced to Vince. Prior to speaking with Vince, I was a complete novice when it came to taxes/invoicing/expenses. Vince clearly explaining everything to me, answering all of my silly questions along the way and then produced an estimated profit model which showed me how to be as tax efficient as possible. He routinely keeps an eye on my accounts and interjects when he sees fit as to benefit my company. I need not worry about when my VAT/Tax returns are due as I am sent reminders about this including all of the information which I need to make a correct payment on time. I feel very comfortable having Cogent manage my books and am sure that having gone with them, I am as tax efficient as possible. I would highly recommend them

From day one, Cogent Accountants have totally won my sympathy by providing an outstanding service in managing my company’s accounting, as well as my personal taxes. Motty Korman, my main and, more importantly, only point of contact, has always been very helpful and extremely patient with all my accounting questions and queries.

I have a full overview of my company’s accounting with a fantastic tool called FreeAgent which also has a very handy phone app. It has a direct link to my business bank account. I can run all kinds of monthly/annual reports, manage the expenses “on the go”, and much more.

Wouldn’t hesitate even for a second in recommending Cogent Accountants to anyone else!
