They made the process easier, in what was a difficult time. They explained everything and made contact at every stage, even the gentleman delivering the ashes was lovely - would recommend.

My sister made arrangements for her direct cremation through Celebration of Life. She found this process simple, straightforward and affordable. As I was her next of kin, I received a copy of the plan with clear instructions on what I needed to do at the time of her passing.
From my first call to COL following my sister’s death, I found the staff empathetic and professional as they talked me through the next steps. The communication that followed that first call was also excellent and I felt totally supported with the process. My sister’s ashes were hand delivered back to me by one of their friendly team within the timescale published. I would certainly recommend COL to family and friends thinking about arranging their own direct cremation.

I bought my plan on the Internet and it was very easy. I chose COL because wherever you die in the U K they pick your body up. Several Cremation Companies do not so extra money for someone to pay when I die. Forgot to add something so phoned them. Dealt with straight away. Hope family like COL after I've gone.

Excellent experience

From the initial phone call, everything was perfect. Each member of staff was polite and respectful. Nothing was trouble. There were no silly questions. We were kept informed every step of the way. It was a pleasure to deal with such a caring company.

Very competent company. Couldn’t do enough for me when my aunt passed. Also they planted a tree 🌳 in her honour. Fantastic thing to do. Would highly recommend. The date was January 2026

When my wife suddenly died I was lost. Out of necessity I picked the cheapest company, and whilst they might be the cheapest (For my situation) they were everything I could expect and more.
At every stage I was informed what was going on, told what I needed to do, and was treated with kinkness and compassion.
The return of the ashes was a dignified event and done with respect and compassion.

From start to finish I couldn't fault them. The customer service is excellent. They picked my mum up within 2hrs of calling and were really nice. They kept us posted on when mum would be cremated and brought the ashes back personally. The box my mum's ashes came in was a really pretty woodland print, and they later sent us a certificate to say a tree has been planted in her name. All in all a great service for a great price.

Company were friendly, professional and sympathetic .Kept us informed all through this sad time and always available to answer any questions we had.
