Thank you Karolis for the great

Thank you Karolis for the great support. Very responsive and allowed me to try different IPs to see the quality of them separately. Their residential vpn is a good deal, even though it is not always detected as residential, it is better than a regular vpn at least and can bypass some of the vpn blockers. I am signed up on a long term plan

Terrible experience; False locations, fake 24/7 support and trial traps.

I signed up for this VPN specifically because they advertised a local server in Fort Myers, FL. It turned out to be a complete failure. First, the location routing is totally broken. The app claimed I was connected to Fort Myers, but when checking my IP on external tools, it actually routed my traffic to Chicago, over a thousand miles away. Second, their "24/7 support" is completely fake. When I tried to get help fixing the broken location, I was just hit with an automated bot telling me the team was away and would be back later. Finally, they pull a total bait and switch with their 3-day free trial. If you cancel the auto-renewal to protect your card from being charged later, their system immediately terminates your access on the spot instead of letting you use the remaining trial days. Don't waste your time with this provider. The network is misconfigured, the support is nonexistent, and the billing practices are incredibly shady.

UPDATE: The company replied but completely ignored the core issue. I KNOW what your Native Residential VPN is. The problem is that when I connected to your "Fort Myers" Native Residential server, external IP lookups proved it actually routed my traffic to Chicago, Illinois. Your server pool is misconfigured, and your response completely dodged that fact.

We're sorry your experience fell short — that's genuinely not what we want. Let us clear up the three points.

The free trial works as intended. Cancelling ends the trial there and then rather than running out the remaining days. That's deliberate: the trial is repeatedly abused by people who sign up, cancel immediately and keep the free access, so cancellation and access are tied together. We understand it's frustrating if you cancelled simply to be safe, and we'll look at making that clearer before you confirm.

On support, apologies for the wait. Our team isn't online around the clock, so messages sent late at night take longer to get a reply. Yours was answered — just not as quickly as you needed.

On Fort Myers, it is available — through our Native Residential VPN. That's the plan with city-level coverage, using real home ISP addresses. Our standard servers are state-level, so a standard Florida connection won't give you a Fort Myers IP. If that's the city you need, Native Residential is the right plan and we're happy to help you set it up.

If you'd like to give us another go, write in and we'll make sure it's set up correctly.

Great customer service and great vpn

I have great experience with this service. They offer fast and competent customer service, and their prices are good. They also provide fast replies always. They have a 30-day money-back guarantee if you decide it doesn't fit your needs, but I'm sure everyone will be happy. They have great locations/ISP choices; even in my small town, they had one ISP available, which is pretty stunning. I never had connection issues with their VPN or their native residential ones. It's really great; I would recommend them to everyone.

Scam, Service Not as Advertised

I purchased CometVPN solely because their website claims to offer Iranian IP Server. After subscribing, I discovered they don't offer any Iran servers. To make matters worse, they suggested using their residential IP service instead, but it didn't work either. I paid for a feature that simply wasn't available. Don't waste your money and time on these scammers.

Hi, and thank you for the feedback — we're sorry about your experience, and we'd like to clear this up. We do offer Iran, but through our Native Residential VPN plan (real in-country residential IPs) rather than a standard server location — so it is available to you. We're sorry it didn't work when you tried the residential option, and we'd genuinely like to help get it running properly. Please email us at support@cometvpn.com with your account address and we'll either help you set up the Iran Native Residential connection, or — if you'd prefer — process a full refund under our 30-day money-back guarantee. Either way, we'll make it right.

Hi Daniel, we're sorry to hear this — our 30-day money-back guarantee is fully honoured for credit card and PayPal payments. The only exception is cryptocurrency, where refunds aren't technically possible because crypto transactions are irreversible (this is stated at checkout). Could you email hello@cometvpn.com with the account email and original payment method so we can look into your case directly and get this resolved? We want to make this right.

They scam people

They scam people. They dont refund you within 30 days. Basically Google rejects my refund and their support is using an AI agent that doesnt understand it.

Edit: to reply to the comment below, let me paste a portion of google support's reply
"I’ve looked into your refund request, and it appears that the app developer has already collected the payment. Because of this, we’re currently unable to process the refund directly from our side here on Google Play."

Hello Thomas,
We're truly sorry for the frustration this caused, we hear you and want to make it right.
Since the purchase was made through the Android app, Google handles the refund directly on their end. Here's how:
1. Open Google Play Store
2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history
3. Find the CometVPN purchase → tap Report a problem or Refund
If that doesn't work, reach out to us directly and we'll sort it out.
