I can say a lot of great things about CommitAction but I will just mention one thing that has been exceptional: I feel that Coach Brittany is really listening to me and remembering key details of our discussions. She’s great at following up and helping me stick to a plan. Thanks Coach!

For almost two years, I was a client of Commit Action, where I had a weekly call with a personal coach to help set goals. In the beginning, the service was beneficial, but over time, the true face of the company was revealed.

Issues started, such as frequent call disconnections – yet I was still fully charged without any compensation or acknowledgment. My coach tried to help by forwarding my requests, but she faced the same response: complete disregard from management, even to her repeated requests for support.

The breaking point came when I registered for the company’s annual seminar in Mexico, called HEADSTART, with a $3,000 deposit. Two months before the seminar, war broke out in Israel. I had to cancel due to the situation – I am a father of five young children, my business was closed, and there were no flights. I notified the company well in advance, at a time when they hadn’t incurred any expenses related to my participation, so they could have refunded the seminar fee without incurring a loss. However, they consciously chose not to do so, even though it would not have affected them in any way.

When I reached out to Peter, the company's main manager, he initially replied with empathy, promised to help, and then… simply ignored me. For six months, I repeatedly tried to reach him through my coach and directly, but Peter completely disregarded all of my messages.

When I finally decided to cancel the service, within an hour, I received an angry email from Peter, even directly insulting me. When I replied with a personal explanation of my situation, he responded that he wasn’t interested and had no time to read my email. To make things worse, he later sent me a threatening email stating that if I shared my experience publicly, he would sue me and take even more money from me.

Commit Action’s dismissive treatment of clients – especially in emergency situations – and the way they took advantage of my financial situation while continuing to charge me without real service left me shocked and disappointed. There is no excuse for such neglect toward a long-time client.

There are many other companies that offer a more humane and respectful service. Unfortunately, Commit Action is the opposite – here, I experienced a heartless and cruel attitude toward clients, and it seems toward the mentors trying to help as well.

My coach, Briana, is exactly what was promised. She keeps me from chasing shiny objects, makes sure that I've identified weekly commitments and that each of them is tied to my long term goals. She doesn't accept weak reasons for non-execution and helps me think about any underlying barriers to completion. She also doesn't let me keep things on my list in a "limbo state".

Summer + the Commit Action method is a deadly combination. I’ve participated in a number of business accelerators and hired domain expertise coaches, but this system is by far the most efficient. Basically I have 100s of options about what I can work on

Business wise - I am much pickier now about what I say yes to. The smallest commitment - for lunch with a potential contact - previously I would automatically say yes. Now, I know it will knock me off my day’s goals. It really has to clear a high bar to get on my calendar.

Emotionally - I am a lot calmer and sure about what the day should bring. I have managed to devalue “being busy”. It’s more important to be impactful.

Chunking - a lot of times I don’t get started on things as it’s a huge project. Summer has been great at helping me find ways of attempting projects which builds momentum.

Downtime - I and like the focus on downtime and recovery. We seem to see ourselves as the productivity beasts instead of human beings. I like the deemphasis on rituals and productivity and the focus on sorting through what matters.

From strategic planning to staying accountable, Summer has a remarkable way of helping me stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. Her approach is practical, insightful, and deeply personalized to my unique business needs. Each session with her feels like a breakthrough moment, giving me clear action steps and the motivation to keep pushing forward.

Thanks to her coaching, I’ve made more progress in the last year than I could have ever imagined on my own. She has not only helped me launch my business successfully, but has also given me the confidence and tools to continue growing it sustainably.

This is the most valuable tool! I've been using Commit Action for the last 12+ months, and since then, my coach, Elizabeth, has helped keep me accountable for my sales, growth, and even health goals. She's empathetic and also has straight business to keep me in line. I really love the psychology of how they approach things. A disappointing experience.

I was VERY excited about signing up to Commit Action, and tried the service (at $575 per month).

I wasn't really sure how to extract value from my coaching experience. My calls often felt like academic lectures that were interesting, but not necessarily always relevant. This took much much of the limited call time. And as a result, this left little time to talk about the specifics of what I wanted to achieve in my startup that week, and then often the call ended pretty abruptly and in a way that was incomplete. Ultimately, the calls felt like we were just covering my normal 'to do' list, and didn't have much depth to them. And I don't feel that the onboarding process was clear.

But the most disappointing part was my engagement, and the reason I'm writing a review (I'm not a review person) was my interaction with their Head of Customer Success, Ryan. When I decided to cancel the service, and said I would explore coming back in the future, he sent me multiple incredibly passive aggressive and rude emails. I won't go so far as to paste them here, but they were definitely out of line and pretty shocking for someone that is responsible for customer success. It left a very poor taste in my mouth, and really showed that they don't care about their new customers.

Ultimately, I'd say this is not worth the investment. From what I've heard, the service used to be a lot better, but its going downhill these days as they scale the business. Such a shame.

An update, based on Commit Actions’s bizarre and untrue response:

Your statement that I was ‘non responsive’ implies that I was not responding during my active coaching. This is untrue. Rather, I subscribed online and then purposefully delayed scheduling my first call because 1) I was in the midst of fundraising (which I communicated), and 2) signing up triggers Commit Action sending pre-work on milestones etc before the first call, and I wanted to carve out appropriate time do do that thoughtfully. Please also be honest and share that the coach I was assigned had a busy schedule and some travel (which is totally reasonable and was no issue) and that I was provided dates some weeks into the future and/or at time zones that didn’t align with my location, and so there was a waiting period on your side, too. I had no issue with this by the way(!), and I don’t believe you should penalise me for choosing a start date that also worked for me. That is bizarre. And this has nothing to do with why I chose to step away from Commit Action.

Also once my kick off call took place and my weekly calls began, I was responsive, prepared and on time for every single call. In fact, so much so that I felt unsure what our call time should be used for. So please do not misrepresent the truth.

Lastly, at your request I agreed to share constructive feedback on a call and scheduled and confirmed it with you. There was no ‘trouble scheduling’ - I used your scheduling link at your request. Your Customer Success lead then abruptly cancelled it, to which I replied via email and did not receive a response. So, in fact, it is your team that hasn’t responded to me. So please, once again, do not lie saying that I have not responded and therefore you will consider this the last communication. We have emails to the contrary.

All you are doing is publicly demonstrating your ‘Customer Success’ approach, which is passive aggressive and misrepresents the truth.

I’ve been with Commit Action for about 5 years and my coach Elizabeth (and James before her) have done a great job keeping me focused and on task. The great thing about Commit Action is the accountability. As a business owner, there are always different “fires” I have to deal with every week, but knowing I had my call scheduled with Elizabeth made me focus on whatever priorities I set out with her the week before. Some weeks I would get everything accomplished, some weeks I would fall short, and some times I had trouble just getting started. Elizabeth is great in helping me brainstorm what would be a good “first step” on certain projects even if the goal wasn’t to finish it. More often than not, once I got in the zone of working on that first step, I found the motivation to keep going through the rest of the tasks required for success.

Commit Action has been a partner in my success on a few big milestone projects. I had a book published and they were with me from the very beginning during the writing and editing process. I was able to get some business systems in place to take off 30 consecutive days this past year (my goal was 1 day for each year in business, so 30 days for 30 years), and Elizabeth kept me on track through all of it.

I look forward to the “Head Start” planning process that the founder Peter puts together for us each year, as it’s a great way to head into the new year with bigger and bigger goals.

I think many business owners are good at setting goals, but staying on track throughout the chaos of running a business can be difficult. Commit Action makes that process easier.

If you are on the fence about giving them a try, go for it and see what you can accomplish in just the next 90 days.

signed up for the elite package with Commit Action, costing over $1599 per month, and was thoroughly disappointed. The coaching felt generic and uninspiring, with canned messages when I missed calls. After just two weeks, my coach abruptly left for a week, and I was casually handed over to another coach, which didn't feel "elite" at all. Paying $1599 for two rushed 20-minute check-ins is outrageous, equating to $600 per hour.

The supposed "science" behind their methods didn't seem special to me, and while it might work for some, the elite package is a complete scam.
