I am absolutely appalled that this company tracked me down after I posted in a Landscaping Facebook group asking about composite decking. Not only this, but they contacted me through my work phone that I only use for counselling clients through a counselling directory.

This is completely overstepping and grasping to find customers in an unethical and intrusive way. I have never had a company do this before and I find it outrageous. I phoned to leave this feedback, but I am putting it on here because it is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Unbelievable...

Possibly the most expensive composite decking on the market, and easily the worst.My decking is only 5 yrs old and I have already replaced around 15 boards due to splitting and cracks.And the replacement boards are a totally different colour.Thousands of pounds wasted.

I purchased my composite prime hd deck pro in august 2022, one of the stand out features was that it came with a 25 year warranty the deck was installed by myself a carpenter for over 20 years so was a very simple project as I am used to building high quality homes.all manufactures clips,screws fascia, spacing,fall and everything else they can throw at you was used and installed I even had to provide photographic evidence just for the warranty to be accepted which it was and received all relevant documentation great and was very pleased with the product fast forward to may 2025 were I have noticed that five of my boards have split along the length of the board which seems to be a very common occurrence listening to other reviews, after raising this matter with composite prime I seem to get the common answer to all warranty claims that the deck was installed incorrectly after all photographic evidence was sent and accepted when first installed. apparently my 5mm spacing between board and facia is not adequate when they clear state between 5mm and 7mm on website installation.I mean come on it’s a deck not a complicated build and just to add I was also told it could be because of the sun very confusing well which is it. I have no faith in this company what so ever and am appalled with the warranty. Without this 25 year warranty this product is no different than others that you can purchase for less than half the price.

I’m surprised by how many positive reviews are on this site based on the experience I’ve had with the company over the last six weeks. I purchased composite decking in 2022 from them via an an approved installer near my home. The decking boards now are now cracking and breaking in half. After chasing the company for 6 weeks after claiming under the 25 year warranty, they’ve told me today it’s the installers at fault and not the composite decking they provided. I’m currently thousands out of pocket in my eyes for a defective product.

I came across Composite Prime Redux boards whilst researching decking options for our project. Samples received, decision made! The product is fantastic. Our joiner, not a fan of composite decking, is a convert and says he’ll only fit Redux from now on. Absolutely delighted with how the project worked out…just need the Scottish weather to allow us to use it 🤭🤣

I was looking for a high quality composite decking to compliment my new garden studio and reached out to Composite Prime. I was assisted by the extremely pleasant Jessica Coates who was friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout the process helping me choose the perfect decking. She was always on hand to answer my questions and discuss product options in depth. Jessica made sure the order all went through smoothly dealing with my local suppliers to arrange everything. I can highly recommend Composite Prime and their products and I’m really happy with my new Redux decking.

We had a 26m2 decking area installed using composite prime HD dual Antique, and that we considered was fabulous.
After one year however we noticed that 2 planks had splits in them up to 1m long and up to 5mm wide in places and other planks had minor cracking.
The decking area where splits occurred are in the sunniest areas of our decking and the exceptional summer heat at the time may have contributed to the splitting.
We emailed composite prime customer services on three occasions advising of the splitting and requested advice on repairs, but we had no replies to any of the emails.
We assume there are no repair options only replacement that we will now arrange to have carried out.
The products do not appear to be guaranteed against splits or cracking, but no replies from the company was not very helpful.

The quality of the HD Dual Deck is incredible. I had it installed in slate and our builder said it was easy to fit.

It has transformed the back of our house and created an all year round outdoor area.

Great company for communication and delivery too.
