Reliable and fast service

Reliable and fast service. I bought air cooling from Thermalright with a screen from them. I don't remember the exact model name, but the product was shipped the next day, even though I bought it at night. I received all receipts and transaction confirmations from them immediately after payment. Reliable service.

Initially

Initially, my interaction with COMPUTER Orbit was promising, but it unfortunately took a negative turn by the end.Before making my purchase, the seller was quite communicative, and they dispatched my expensive GPU (valued at AUD $4,429) promptly, ensuring it was well-protected during shipping. Regrettably, the GPU had significant coil whine, and despite acknowledging the unusual noise after guiding me through various troubleshooting steps, the seller later refused my return request. They directed me to file a warranty claim with Gigabyte instead of processing an RMA.This deflection is disappointing, as retailers should manage faulty returns, not leave customers to deal directly with manufacturers.When the seller declined my return, I resorted to opening a PayPal dispute, which COMPUTER Orbit swiftly escalated against me. The resolution process dragged on for nearly two months until PayPal assessed the situation and decided in my favor. Although I was finally reimbursed after returning the GPU, I ended up bearing the return shipping costs and endured unnecessary stress.Speedy shipping loses its value when after-sales support falters at the first hurdle. I strongly recommend COMPUTER Orbit take responsibility for their warranty commitments and refrain from redirecting customers to manufacturers for valid returns.

Avoid

I sent my keyboard to Computer Orbit under warranty for repair. During the repair they have obviously overtightened the screws and have left cracks all around the case (the case of the keyboard is semi-transparent plastic with LEDs inside so very obvious) Computer Orbit have refused responsibility and ignore my emails.

Edit after response:
They have shown no proof that the keyboard wasn't damaged by themselves beyond what they "believe".

They are also lying about response times, they forgot about me for over 5 months, I have had to email them multiple times to get a response.

This below statement is just false at no point were repeated insults used. The only insult is the way this company treats it's customers.

"Unfortunately, your communications then escalated into repeated insults towards our staff"

Your review does not reflect the full, true and accurate sequence of events.

You returned the keyboard under warranty; however, it was rejected due to clear evidence of liquid damage. This was explained to you at the time which you accepted. As liquid damage is not covered under warranty, no repair or replacement was carried out.

We would not return an item to you in a damaged condition. When the keyboard left us, no cracks were present. The cracks were reported after delivery, once the item was back with you.

Despite being under no obligation to do so, we still tried to help in good faith by contacting Keychron to source a replacement case. This was not available, so we offered a goodwill partial refund, despite being confident the damage did not occur while the item was in our care.

We have responded to your emails and have not ‘ignored’ you as stated. There were also significant gaps in your replies during the correspondence, sometimes up to 4 months. Unfortunately, your communications then escalated into repeated insults towards our staff. While we always aim to help where possible, we will not tolerate abusive or insulting behaviour, and we will not be taking this matter any further.

Really good prices and really reliable

Amazing company, great prices and great customer services. Ordered some RAM which of course is currently a pain to get for a good price. It was affordable and shipped quickly. I had some questions regarding my order, and the staff were quick to respond to my query and reassure me. The order has just arrived, and I couldn't be happier. I'm excited to build my PC once I can get the other parts. It's been a great experience with the company though, can't reccomend them enough.

This issue would have been resolved straight away through our customer service, who are always available to assist via email at help@computerorbit.com or through our live chat on the website. A negative review is not the only way to reach out to us :)

To provide some context, we recently rolled out an update to our warehouse management system, during this transition period there have been some minor issues to a small number of orders resulting in tracking numbers not being attached to the order. We're sorry for any inconvenience this caused and we are implementing fixes to ensure smoother updates moving forward.

That said, rest assured your order was dispatched on time and is currently in Australia, with delivery expected in the next few days. As of today, it's on day 5 of the 5-7 working day estimated window from dispatch, so right on track.

We've manually added your tracking number to your account and resent the shipping confirmation email with a direct tracking link.

We trust this will resolve promptly upon arrival. That said, a 1-star review feels disproportionate for this isolated notification oversight, especially given the on-time dispatch and straightforward resolution. They failed to deliver two items from


They failed to deliver two items from my order, after I contacted customer support, they told me to "look in the motherboard box", even after I sent them photos of the contents of the box (which did not have the two items mentioned). DO NOT BUY!!

Update:
Unlike what this company has replied with, my chargeback was completed, and I luckily got my money back, thanks for the money guys! 😉

We’re disappointed to see this review, especially as it does not reflect the facts of the order or our communication with you.

Your order was double-checked, fully verified, CCTV-recorded, and shipped complete, both the CPU and screwdriver kit you claim are missing were included at the time of packaging. Each product we sell is tracked by a unique serial number, and our stock control records confirm that all items were dispatched correctly and in full.
Furthermore, our CCTV footage clearly confirms the items were packed and sent.

When we requested photos of the contents of the motherboard box to assist our investigation, you did not provide images showing the full contents of the box, only the motherboard itself after it had been removed. This made it impossible to verify the package as it was originally received.

You have also threatened to initiate a chargeback several times; however, to date, no such action has been taken. If the items were genuinely missing, a chargeback would reasonably have been opened by now, yet you have not opened one. Should one still be submitted, we are entirely confident it will be resolved in our favour, supported by our CCTV footage, serial number tracking, and stock verification records.

We always act transparently and in good faith, and we stand by the evidence that your order was accurately packaged and shipped in full.

Fast shipping but unacceptable handling of return and warranty

My experience with COMPUTER Orbit started well but ended very poorly.

The seller was highly responsive before purchase, and my high-value GPU (AUD $4,429) shipped quickly and was well packaged. Unfortunately, the card exhibited excessive coil whine, and when I requested a return, the seller initially took me through multiple troubleshooting steps and even acknowledged the abnormal noise level. However, they later backflipped and refused to accept an RMA, instead insisting that I lodge a warranty claim directly with Gigabyte.

This kind of deflection is unacceptable as it is the retailer’s responsibility to handle faulty product returns, not the customer’s job to chase the manufacturer.

After the seller’s refusal, I had no choice but to open a PayPal dispute, which COMPUTER Orbit immediately escalated to a claim against me. The process dragged on for almost two months before PayPal reviewed the evidence and decided in my favour. While I was eventually refunded after returning the GPU, I still lost the return shipping costs and weeks of unnecessary frustration.

Fast shipping means little when after-sales support collapses at the first sign of a problem. I strongly urge COMPUTER Orbit to take ownership of their warranty obligations and stop deflecting customers to manufacturers instead of handling legitimate returns directly.

Coil whine is a common characteristic in many high-performance GPUs (including those from Gigabyte) and is generally not classified as a manufacturing defect, as it's caused by the natural vibration of components under load rather than a fault. And as a result, coil whine is not covered under warranty.

That said, we took your concerns seriously from the outset: we reviewed your videos and audio files in detail, guided you through targeted troubleshooting steps (like driver reinstallation and system checks), and advised that the recordings pointed towards potential audio/speaker interference rather than outright GPU coil whine.

Given your location in Australia, we recommended reaching out to Gigabyte Australia first for their assessment. As the manufacturer, they may have been able to provide region-specific support. This potentially could avoid the need to ship the GPU all the way back to the UK, which could have saved significant time and cost for everyone involved. We explicitly stated that if Gigabyte concluded it as a warrantable issue, we would immediately process your RMA and cover the next steps. This was intended to simplify the process and get you a resolution quicker, not to deflect responsibility.

Unfortunately, when the PayPal dispute was opened and escalated to a claim, it introduced formal processes and evidence reviews that extended the timeline to nearly two months, far longer than we would have liked. While we believe the decision may not have fully accounted for the fact that coil whine as a non-defect, we accepted PayPal's decision to bring the matter to a swift close and ensure you received your refund upon return.

**Review for the Orbit custom build team Gorilla Gaming**

I had given up finding a PC builder that could build my dream PC as even the biggest UK companies (Cyber/ PC Specialist) didn't have the selection of parts I wanted - I was looking for all white with a lot of Lian Li parts.

I found Computer Orbit when I was starting my parts buying to try to build my own PC and noticed they had their own custom build site - Gorilla Gaming.

They had a huge selection of parts including every single thing I wanted (reverse white LCD fans, Tryx 3D screen CPU cooler etc). I contacted their support team via e-mail and not only were they super helpful, but also made suggestions regarding my set up that made it even better.

I put my order in and the PC turned up in good time, sadly the Royal Mail had really done a number on the box (literal holes in the outer packaging), I have had several PC's delivered and Gorilla had packaged it as well as they possibly could - but two of the fans had been damaged in delivery and made the PC sound like it had a deisel engine.

As soon as I e-mailed the team they gave several ways to resolve the problem and within days I had replacement fans (no cost) and had replaced them, the PC is now silent as can be and exactly how I dreamed my build to be!

A big shout out to 'Ollie' who was the person that dealt with my pre-order enquires as well as the support after delivery - top notch service all round.

Only thing I could complain about it that I never saw an ad for Gorillagaming when I was looking for someone to build me a PC - best service and build I have ever had!!

Awesome site for PC components!

Found this site when looking to build my first custom PC. Amazing prices, along with deals on a couple components I was after! Ordered my motherboard, PSU from here and arrived quickly! Customer support were quick to reply too, even on a Friday night!
Will definitely come back for future upgrades etc.

You get to know a company when things go wrong...n things go

Ordered a monitor at a decent price which arrived promptly. Unfortunately after plugging it in I realised it was defective as there were coloured lines all across the screen.

Returned it to Orbit who checked it, confirmed the defect and asked if I wanted a replacement or refund. I asked for a replacement and they offered to unbox and check the replacement before shipping. I gratefully accepted the offer and they managed to get it checked and shipped out the very same day.

Good service and the whole process felt easy and well managed.

Great experience from a first time purchaser

I've never bought from Computer Orbit before but I certainly will again. I purchased a new computer keyboard and could not be happier with the product and the service. I telephoned in the morning with a question about delivery (to Northern Ireland), got a positive answer immediately, placed the order just after lunch, it was dispatched later that afternoon and arrived lunchtime the next day! The packing was excellent with the item arriving in perfect condition. I cannot fault in anyway the service from that call, the ordering process and through to delivery. A perfect transaction and I'll certainly be back. 100% recommend Computer Orbit.

I thought something was missing from my


I thought something was missing from my order and contacted Computer Orbit. They were very helpful and said they would send out a replacement immediately. After checking again I found the small item inside another pack. The way they handled the situation was excellent and showed how much they care about their customers. This was a very positive experience and I will be happy to order from them again.
