This was a bait and switch. The service was not provided timely and the attorney I was dealing with sent a separate outside of the app another contact that could have charged me unlimited amounts for a previously agreeded upon set fee. I will dispute the deposit because nothing was delivered to me! I was asked the basic questions about the work the day it was do because the attorney had done nothing for the time allowed for the work. Do not use this service!!!

Tried getting attorney's help by writing on their websites and went to visit some, they did not even bother returning a call/email.
Contracts Counsel is different, you post your project and attorneys come to you!

Life saver! i wish i knew earlier.

We actually went to a local law office to request the project be done and they shot us down in their lobby stating that they couldn't offer an opinion on the POA because it wasn't drafted by them. Crazy! So this was the perfect option and while the first bid was way way out there, the 2nd was just right. It was done within 2 days and we had what we needed for a very reasonable fixed price. Saved a lot of time looking for an attorney to simply provide a letter of opinion as requested by the bank. Perfect in every way

Such a HELPFUL tool! Without CC, I would probably still be scratching my head and asking around to friends about who to call. Contracts Counsel made it so easy to identify/narrow down what it was I was asking for, put out my request, and connect with qualified and interested attorneys. The only hard part was picking one at the end, because everyone I talked to was great. They also take the guesswork out of pricing by being very transparent with their fees and attorney fees. I will use CC for all of my future legal questions/needs!

The letter the attorney firm wrote in my defense was amazing. Accurately reflected all the point in my case and as a reply to what the opposing attorney wrote, our response was so far superior.

I recently had a critical legal need regarding a meaningful financial matter. I've never needed the services of an attorney before. My first attempt to secure legal counsel was visiting websites for local attorneys and filling out a contact form on those sites. 1 of the 5 attorneys responded and their rates were far higher than I expected and they wanted a retainer up front. Enter ContractsCounsel, I figured there must be a better way to secure legal counsel through some online service. I found ContractsCounsel and everything has been smooth sailing from there. For my project I received at least 10 bids, all from attorneys who had a strong proposals for protecting my interests in this matter. I had several final candidates that I felt would all do an excellent job for a fair rate. In the end the attorney I choose has been awesome to work with and has done their absolute best to protect my interests in this matter.

Very easy to find and being connected to the lawyer I wanted exactly.

Pricing guidelines once hiring a lawyer are not thorough. Flat fee rate was implemented rather than an hourly rate, which the lawyer did not make transparent prior to hiring. I assumed the hourly rate at which the bid had shown, that the bid price would be the rate.

The lawyer sent me a document with steps (based on the description of the post) prior to having a phone conversation, which I think a phone call would be more insightful to get a better grasp of a situation. Especially for the amount of money being spent, a two page document (that didn't solve my issue) doesn't seem like money well spent. Nothing in the document was used. Not to take away from the lawyer as she did what she said she would do, but I think there needs to be more proactiveness (especially from a different state) to help address bullet points in documentation and to tell your client that they need to look up the laws/regulations of the city/county seems a little counterintuitive based on what the client is paying for their services.

Drew was very easy to work with and communicated very well with me. I would definitely use him again!

The process of hiring a lawyer for the task I had was seamless from start to end, I was able to post a description of the project and the deliverables, got bids in under a day and settled on a lawyer and the lawyer was good. The interface was pretty straightforward including the payment gateway
