I’m really sorry for the delay with your order and for the lack of communication. I’ve contacted our courier and have been informed that your order was damaged in transit, therefore will be returned to us.

Regarding the issue with the paint thickening, especially towards the bottom of the tin, we understand how frustrating this can be. The thickening you’re experiencing can sometimes occur with anti-slip paint due to the high content of non-slip aggregates, which can settle at the bottom. Stirring regularly, as you did, is essential, but we also recommend ensuring that the paint is stirred thoroughly from the bottom up before and during application to keep the consistency even.

The warm and humid conditions you mentioned could have also contributed to the thickening, as higher temperatures can accelerate the drying process, even in the tin.

We don’t recommend thinning the paint, as doing so can reduce the effectiveness of the anti-slip properties. If you continue to experience issues, please don’t hesitate to contact our technical support team on 01482 328053, who can offer further advice.
