This company is now called scopyright. Website is scopyright.ca for me but the billing is in France.
They are a scam. Stay away from them. I cancelled after they sent me a bill. I paid thinking it was my fault for not realizing the subscription renewal was automatic. I received an email confirming that the service was terminated and that I would not receive any more bills. I did. They sent me a bill for 2025 with threats of legal pursuits if I did not pay. I noticed as well that they sent me tons of emails that ended up in my spam. So I didn't realize they spammed quite a lot.
They are a ghost company. No mention of them anywhere. Their social media link buttons on their page are fake and they have no presence on social media.
Do not do business with them.
Angela Brand is the one that sends the emails and looking at other reviews on here, I am not the only one she harasses with legal threats.
I have reported this company to a few Canadian fraud offices as well as Better Business Bureau. Stay away from them. They are snakes

Wow! These scammers are nasty. I cancelled in 2018. They acknowledged my cancellation. They even replied to my review on here stating they had cancelled my contract! (My review was 15 Aug 2018 and they replied 24 Oct 2018). Last month started getting threatening emails again. Demands for payment. Threatening legal action. Angela Brand stating it's an annual renewal. Even though I cancelled 7 years ago! Nasty scammers! Avoid them!

Requested them to cancel years ago. Even called them. Paid double the first time. Didn’t get refund. And am still removing bills? Wtf?

Why is this business still operating. Used them and cancelled in 2017.
Have proof of cancellation. Just received an invoice for the year of 2025 out of the blue.

Vérifier tous les site avec les avis vous comprendrez que les avis positifs sont fake. Tout comme regarder sur les sites similaire comme .it ou encore .com.uk . Regardez les avis.

Ils ont pleins de failles dans leurs CGV et sur leur site. Vérifier par vous même.
Cherchez après la société qui se cache derrière et vous verrez également de nombreux avis négatif.

Je ne demande qu’à ce que Copyright.be me contact, mais vous n’aurez jamais aucun retour de leur part par téléphone ni par email vous verrez par vous même. Leur ChatOnline accessible 1x tout les 4 mois, avec une personne derrière qui utilise le Chat en Espagnol, mais société avec 0 employé? Ils sont fort, depuis une décennie des gens se font duper…

Harcèlement par email pour réclamer après une « reconduction tacite », pensant réussir à arnaquer les consommateurs en les menaçant de poursuivre en justice, alors qu’en tant que consommateur vous avez des droits. Cherchez les renseignements de vos droits et de leurs obligations surtout, et ne vous laissez pas intimider par leur harcèlement!!!!! Ça prend du temps à récolter tous ces renseignements, mais croyez moi qu’après vous aurez la certitude de les envoyer bouler comme eux le font si bien.

Le montant de la reconduction tacite prévue pour vous protéger en cas de problème externe avec le dépôt que vous avez fait. Où est le service juridique? Comment vont ils vous aider ? Sans accès par téléphone, ni chat, ni email…

AVANT DE PAYER QUOI QUE CE SOIT FAITES CE TEST :
Mettez vous sur une page d’une dépôt (par ex. Dépôt de logo premium). Inscrivez vous ensuite, sans engage, sans signer, sans payer. Ensuite connectez-vous quelques heures ou jours après. Vous trouvez une facture, que vous avez payé. Dans la logique des choses, un an après vous recevrez des menaces par emails de recouvrement si vous payez pas le renouvellement.

Ils sont d’un ridicule… mais un don pour réussir depuis tant d’années! Quelle injustice pour tous ces gens qui ont réellement payé.

Dossier en béton en cours pour les faire poursuivre. J’aimerais être en contact avec d’autres personnes qui se sont fait arnaquer avec eux.

Je souhaiterais tellement que toutes les personnes qui ont eu affaire à eux mettent leur avis également

I had a copyright with this company 2016 & cancelled it 5 years ago. Now they have suddenly sent me an invoice for £42 with no explanation of what it is for and threatening me with legal proceedings (everyday in an email).
I did speak to someone very unprofessional on the phone who said she couldn't give me details of my account and that I needed to pay it immediately. I asked why they had not answered my emails but she just said she was passing me on to her legal department. I asked why should I pay for something that I do not know what it is for, but she just started getting very arrogant on the phone demanding payment telling me to click on the link in the email and pay immediately.
If I try to log in to their website it says my email doesn't even exist!
If I use my old email that the account was set up in it says the last invoice was 2020 and that it was paid.
It is a scam.
Please people beware and do not give them money.
I have proof I cancelled 5 years ago, so good luck on taking legal proceedings against me.

They continue to send threatening legal emails even though I paid them twice (by accident). They refuse to engage with you directly when you send proof of payment. Something meant to bring peace of mind has turned into a horrible email chain from what feels like a threatening bot.

Nun nachdem ich das vor einem Jahr abgeschlossen habe, und schon damals keine Kontaktaufnahme möglich war, werde ich jetzt mit Mahnungen und Drohungen zugespamt, dass meine Daten ja noch bei Ihnen liegen und ich den Vertrag für 25 verlängern muss. Der Witz: die email Adresse, die die anschreiben, hatte nie einen Vertrag und das eigentliche Konto hatte ich bereits vor dem hochladen irgendwelcher Dokumente wieder gekündigt. Jetzt geht der Kram zu meinem Anwalt. Die Art der Emails ist in einer Form, dass man in die Zahlung gemoppt werden soll. Also nochmal die Warnung absolut unseriös und Finger weg.

Keep sending me threatening emails .. I’m logging them all!

Long time ago I made a copyright with this website. Then after some time asked me to pay more. It's a scam. The address doesn't exist and phone as well because my letter never arrived. Don't waste your money for this. Also check all the positive reviews. Most of them are just paid. Most of them have not more than one reviews.

Won't let me close my accounts, agreements or contract. Don't sign up with them.
Angela Brand from their customer service is only able to send reminders never to confirm the requested closure of the account request.

SCAM!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! They do not respond to phone calls, emails, nothing. However they are happy to send me 4 emails a day daily for months and months threatening me with legal action. Ive built a nice little portfolio now so if they do try legal action which they wont as they are scammers, I will be able to pick them apart with all the attempted communications.
