Very professional help. From the beginning, my recruiter Ben was very committed and offered me many job options. One of them turned out to be perfect for me, he was a great support. I heartily recommend it to everyone who is looking for a new, exciting job.

I was extremely impressed byCOREcruitment's professionalism. It was a pleasure dealing with Olly as he guided me through the recruitment process.

He gave me advice on suggested salary ranges and helped me to find my best own cuisine i was looking for.

I just had one question. Someone text me stating they were from Corecruitment named Ava. Do the recuitment office regularly just text for getting information about seeing if someone is qualified for the job.

Thank you to Marlene for helping me find my new role! She was on hand to help answer any questions and was prompt with passing on messages from the company to myself regarding interviews and brief for presentation. She talked me through a few roles to then help me whittle them down to find the one that was right for me. Thanks again Marlene.

Gemma will spam you with job opportunity emails and messages but then not reply to a question, query or application. They don't have respect if a candidate is not the right fit for a role. It's worth bearing in mind that a candidate could be a good fit for another or future opportunity. Their approach is transaction based and lazy.

Totally depends on which recruiter you get. Jamie has the worst reputation of anyone. In fact, in a discussion about the worst recruiters on Linked In, his name was mentioned multiple times. Were it only disappointed job seekers, I might not mention it, but employers were complaining about him as well.

He consistently posts jobs that are not his to post and is very poor about responding.

Recently, he held an online regarding Dubai, and multiple people on Linked In asked to join. He responded to no one.

It went from bad to worse…

It started off pretty well, I was approached about Sales managers job. Regular email updates and contacted about a role which seemed perfect. It all progressed well, with interviews and eventually a job offer.

The job salary was completely incorrect and I was told to stand strong for a salary they could not even offer in the first place. Not even slightly off, £15,000 a year off! I am sure you can see how that went down.

After lots of discussions directly and taking Gemma out the picture a small bridge was gapped and an offer in place.

6 months later the role was made redundant, yes I am fully aware this is nothing to do with Core and I am not blaming them.

Further issues arose when I tried to speak to Gemma to give a second change to help. Promised a call back and also sent a message. I was completely ignored.

Then out of the blue she has seen my LinkedIn and offered a call. She said she would call the next day. That was a week ago, no calls or replies.

Useless, do not waste your time. If everyone works the same as Gemma then they cannot be trusted.

False Salaries, ignorant and not there to help.

A lot better recruitment companies are available, don’t was your time.

I've never contacted the company or used the service and I have no interest in doing so as I am in employment. Nevertheless I am constantly getting emails, none of which give the option to unsubscribe to whatever list I am on. I assumed these were phishing emails.

They do promising you will get a job very soon like on the same week but you do not get anything for several weeks either. They are totally pointless and their all offered jobs also pay under rubbish too. Do not waste your time for them.

Sophie is an absolute worst case. No communication whatsoever after sending an opportunity and responding to it. Not chasing terrible communication and service. If the job has been taken etc LET PEOPLE KNOW! It’s common courtesy.

Job posting said the email for more info - over 2 weeks and 3 polite emails still not a response.

Treat people how you wish to be treated - a simple response of not right for the role is a common courtesy but don’t state the email and say ask for more info and then not reply !

I wouldn’t want the work with companies who allow this

I had a great experience with Corecruitment, Lara did show a lot of care with my search and kept me in her to do list for few months until I got my new role.

You guys are doing a fantastic job, thank you very much.

The unprofessionalism and how rudely I was treated by Sandie was completely unacceptable!
She will call or text you at least 3/4 times a week, texts tend to have explanation marks on the end and she will not admit a mistake when made.
I will be pushing further about this employee as many people under her care, are also complaining about the same situation.

My encounter with COREcruitment was a deeply disappointing and frustrating one. The extent of their unprofessionalism was truly astonishing, and it was painfully clear that they lacked a fundamental understanding of the hospitality industry, despite their assertions to the contrary.

One of the most exasperating aspects of my interaction with this agency was their total absence of communication. They made no effort to respond to candidates, leaving us in the dark regarding the status of our applications. This lack of responsiveness not only demonstrated a disregard for the time and effort candidates invest but also raised serious doubts about their dedication to their clients.

One would anticipate a higher standard of communication when dealing with a recruitment agency specializing in executive placements. In my very limited contact with them, rather than recognizing the value that a seasoned executive can bring to the industry, they were dismissive and failed to acknowledge skill sets clearly outlined in my CV. It appears that they rely solely on Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and do not engage in any form of personalized review.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company.

I have been contacted by three of the agents from core team but all they are interested in is to find out whether I have cracked a role or not.
Horrible experience will not go through them.

Right from the initial consultation, Core took the time to really understand our business and culture before setting about identifying suitable candidates. It was evident when shortlisting that candidates had been screened and vetted thoroughly, which saved valuable time and allowed for prompt appointment.
